Last night's debate was one of the best I have ever watched. I loved that China's economic policy was a major topic. But, the Bipartisan currency manipulation bill that passed in the Senate is collecting dust on Speaker Boehner's desk. Neither Romney or Obama pushed him to put it on the House floor for a vote. Many Congressional Republicans and Democrats said they would vote for it. So it begs the question whether cracking down on China is just empty words to appease the public. It is time to stop letting China leveraging the money we owe them on our Economy. China's takeover of Wall Street should wake up Americans to the reason why the finance sector is fighting tooth and nail not to be taxed on foreign investments and infrastructure. Just an aside. I do not blame China for their policy. They are doing what is best for their self interest. But, I do blame both politicians, business and consumers, and myself for not buying more American made goods and services. Bringing back the supply chain is good for our country's econosystem (economic system). Big fish and little fish need to be swimming together. I try to thank every business owner I meet for taking the risk and hiring people. I want them to know that they are patriots too. We do not just want them, We need them to make this country last.

Last night on CNN, Jim Lewis of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, was discussing the unpredictability of Iran's future Cyberattacks. This is a major concern. But, what was more unnerving is his comment on why China will not attack American banks. Go 47 seconds into the video. http://security.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/15/u-s-officials-believe-iran-is-behind-recent-cyberattacks/ China's takeover of Wall Street should be one of the main issues the candidates should be discussing tonight. I do not blame them at all. Some people made huge fortunes allowing this to happen.

The art of politics has degraded to sensationalist sound bytes that exaggerate differences. I think the American public is growing weary of this political division. Further, I believe the both the conservative and liberal media has turned what should be objective news to pundit entertainment that dilutes understanding of the path these two patriots want our great nation is to go. The last two debates have revealed common ground on major economic, social, and national security positions taken by both sides of aisle. I consider this a great achievement. On national issues, both Romney and Obama think their opponent and their opponents party loves America, both believe this administration inherited a tough economic situation, giving mortgages to citizens not qualified was a big reason for the recession, Wall Street needs to be regulated for its part in the role in the recession, both parties took stimulus money, both parties agreed on a billion dollar cut to defense if they could not find common ground on the budget, bringing tax rates down is critical, both will encourage small business growth, keeping Social Security sound, protecting Medicare, seniors are still getting drug choices, both believe in bringing healthcare cost down, physicians should get paid by performance and not by number of treatments, both will remove mortgage loopholes for the citizens in higher income brackets, both believe in energy independence, education is the future, businesses need to team up with community colleges to properly train workforce, and both candidates would permit abortions from rape incest, and life of the mother, and both sides do not want to keep borrowing from China. The difference on the National level is Democrats are for guaranteed federal government entitlements of Health, Education, Welfare, and Infrastructure through increased taxes to those in the one million dollar tax bracket. Democrats want to end tax breaks for companies shipping manufacturing plants oversees, oil loopholes and maintain tax breaks for green energy companies. Republicans are for the freedom of choice to participate in State level Health, Education, Welfare, and Infrastructure through the private sector and keeping the tax rates at the same level they are now. Republicans are want to end tax breaks for green energy and create a better environment for foreign investment in America. On international issues both believe we need to get out of Afghanistan by 2014, both agree Iran will not have nuclear weapons and the United Nations should continue sanctions against them, both agree that American troops should not be sent to Syria at this time only if chemical weapons are needed to be removed, Both sides agree that Secretary Clinton was right when she stated Russia is wrong to support the Bashar Assad regime. The difference on international issues is the Democrats believe in gathering a large coalition to impose sanctions and military actions. They also believe in agreeing with their partners on timelines of action and withdrawal. And using armed forces to protect our embassies and foreign consulate offices. The Republicans believe that America should lead from the front and not have the United Nations dictate its foreign policy. Revealing timelines of action and withdrawal is a sign of weakness that our enemies can exploit. And using private firms to protect our embassies and foreign consulate offices. What I did not hear from these debates is a concrete plan on how to convince companies not to keep outsourcing their products and services to the rest of the world.

As long as we continue to be obsessed with tax cuts for the rich and poor the policies unfair trade, government insurance of big banks, and allowing the Fed to print more money that devalues our currency will be the cause of our economic destruction. The crooks on both sides of the aisle should be held accountable and terms in public office should be limited and completely transparent. Our country needs to urgently increase revenue in all sectors and consumers need to keep purchasing goods made in U.S.A. I want a president that has a solution that I can understand and will work. I want a president that will motivate me to believe that America is going to make it. I want a president that will motivate me to believe my family is going to make it. I want a president that will bring back my American Dream. Unite us. Don't Divide Us. We are the greatest nation ever on this planet. Our ideals and respect for those that have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve them are revered by everyone.

Just received a fascinating film sent to me by Christopher Hardaker on the early prehistorical archaeological site named Hueyátlaco, at the north shore of the Valsequillo Reservoir, in the state of Puebla, Mexico. I believe this to be the location of Hueyátlaco https://maps.google....la,+Mexico&z=20 A theory might be that Homo Erectus may have migrated to America somewhere between the Illinoian and Sangamonian Ice Age. http://simon.kisikew...03_figure_3.png When I have more time I want to understand Hueyátlaco. And one day visit it. I would like to know who was the American that tipped off the Mexican authorities that Neil Steede was looking for the artifacts from Cynthia Irwin-Williams first excavation. And where is the warehouse located? http://www.jstor.org...=21101184160561

GSA Ignores Information Request Deadline
Luke_Wilbur replied to Luke_Wilbur's topic in United States Politics
Update I was not able to sign settlement documents Monday for other reasons that matter greater than this. But, I just received the following email from General Services after I had left my office yesterday afternoon. I responded that I hope I hope it comes sooner than later. I was not able to properly present this information last week in front of council and opposing council. I am still way in the dark on this matter trying to protect my property and not put it in jeopardy. If opposing council and GSA had been forthcoming with the information, which was the decent and proper thing to do, then I would not have to ask for this information make a public notice of this event. -
I picked up the front page of the Washington Post today. Instead of focusing on the victims, the killer was promoted to the front page with a montage of photos. This has now made him famous. This got me thinking on whether the gun laws are really to blame. I do agree that no one should be able to purchase a gun or ammunition online. That is completely crazy. I am a huge advocate of free speech. But, I am not a huge advocate of the promotion of violence and **adult material**. Especially to our youth. You can write all the laws you want. But, that does not seem to deter violence. What we need is to send a message of responsibility to all our media leaders. We are going down a slippery slope of losing our ethics and morality.

Let's not forget the Independent vote which 87% agree that all infrastructure projects should be made in USA. I think We the People are all coming to the same conclusion. It is time to stop scaring Americans, rather it time to start uniting America. We have many bright voters from both parties that need jobs and want to create jobs. Give serious breaks and amnesty to the financial sector that really wants to create a robust economy that will last for our children. It sickens my heart that nothing gets done during election times. Instead of spending billions of campaign dollars promoting division. Take the high road and promote real bipartisan leadership that will make our Nation great again. I challenge both former Governor Romney and President Obama to taskmaster their parties to come up with an "Invest in America" legislation before the election. And then come up with financial tax and entitlement package everyone can live with. I am going to church to pray for this to happen.

On Monday, July 20 2012 my American Dream will be irrevocably destroyed unless something drastically changes before then. General Services Administration (GSA) has failed to respond and properly process my Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request 218250 for documents that reveal that their agency transferred a large sum of money to their account through Event Emissary without my knowledge or consent. The FOIA was submitted on March 12, 2012 and posted on April 3, 2012. GSA failure to deliver documents has given me no legal recourse to defend actions taken against my small business. On May 17, 2012 the General Services Administration Internal Resources division stated that they were taking a 10 working day extension under 41 CFR 105-60.404 ( a )(2) and that I should expect a final reply no later than June 11, 2012. The GSA promise of a reply never happened and my appointed investigator no longer responds to any form of communication from me. The financial strains for litigation are too much to continue to fight this battle. For the sake of my family I will have to negotiate a settlement where I lose my farm. This has left me little faith in our current federal government public servants willingness to comply with statutory obligations created to protect us all. The Constitution is just a piece of paper if we do not believe in following it. The following GSA members were part of the investigation. Toni Slappy Eric D. Radwick GSA Director Daniel Tangherlini Senator Joe Lieberman The following did their best to work on my behalf. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton Cartwright Moore

The problem with outsourcing is it takes away jobs here in the United States. I am sure you can understand that.

I think that is not a completely accurate statement. Both candidates as elected leaders allowed the government to outsource goods and services. Mitt Romney allowed call centers to be outsourced. Barack Obama allowed bridges (San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, Alexander Hamilton Bridge, Tanana River Bridge Crossing) to be outsourced. Mitt Romney also a business leader advocated outsourcing jobs overseas. Both Mitt Romney and President Obama have not pushed the Speaker to put the Chinese Currency Manipulation to the floor. Neither President Obama or Mitt Romney did not give General Motors flack for making Cadillac XTS, CTS and ATX and its other fleet vehicles in China.

I understand that the Supreme Court ruled that an element of the separation of powers doctrine Executive privilege gives power to resist certain subpoenas and other interventions by the legislative and judicial branches of government. http://caselaw.lp.fi...l=418&invol=683 Operation Fast and Furious is the largest "gunwalking" probe, whereby in 2009 the The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) knowingly allowed the to the sale of over 2,000 firearms to be bought by suspected arms traffickers ("gunrunners") working through straw purchasers on behalf of Mexican drug cartels. Only 567 of the guns were recovered in the operation. As of October 2011, firearms found at about 170 crime scenes in Mexico were linked to Fast and Furious. http://issues.oversi...fastandfurious/ The "gun-walking" strategy was actually started by the Bush administration. A briefing paper prepared for Attorney General Michael Mukasey in 2007 outlined failed attempts by federal agents to track illicitly purchased guns across the border into Mexico and stressed the need for U.S. and Mexican law enforcement officials to work together on the first-ever attempt to have a controlled delivery of weapons being smuggled into Mexico by a major arms trafficker. On May 3, 2011 Attorney General Holder testified to the House Judiciary Committee that he did not know who approved Fast and Furious, but that it was being investigated. He also stated that he "probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks," a claim which would later become controversial. In October, documents were found showing that Attorney General Holder had been sent briefings on Fast and Furious as early as July 2010, contradicting his May statement that he had known about it for only a few weeks. The briefings were from the National Drug Intelligence Center and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer. In response, the Justice Department stated that Holder misunderstood the question from the committee; he had known about Fast and Furious, but he didn't know the details of the tactics being used. On June 20th, the Oversight Committee met to consider a resolution to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for his failure to produce subpoenaed documents related to Operation Fast & Furious. The resolution was passed with a recorded vote of 23 (Republican) yeas to 17 nays (Democrat). The contempt resolution now goes to the full House of Representatives for a vote. It is now up to Speaker Boehner on whether to bring this contempt citation to the floor. Earlier that day, President Barack Obama asserted Executive privilege to withhold documents related to the investigation. My question is not whether the political motivation of what is being done to Attorney General Holder is right or wrong, but rather how can the President issue an executive privilege over narrow subset of documents that remain at issue if there was no White House involvement and does not threaten public interest? President Obama promised to be the most transparent in history. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa issued the following statement on the POTUS use of Executive privilege: It should be noted that the Bush administration used Executive privilege six times during his presidency. Two big ones were blocked investigations of Karl Rove and Vice President Cheney. That is why in July 2007 then Senator Obama: Understanding that you were a constitutional law professor and respect our Constitution. What is your opinion of being in Contempt of Congress when Executive privilege used? http://www.dcmessage...r-barack-obama/ This was the response I received. For me personally, I fear Executive privilege is quickly unbalancing the separation of power in our branches of government. It needs to be better defined.

Goldman Sachs Board Member Found Guilty of Insider Trading
Luke_Wilbur replied to a topic in Business
I hope Americans do not associate Warren Buffett with Ratjat Gupta. Historians will show Mr. Buffett to be a not only a successful businessman, but a true patriot that saved our country when we were on the brink of economic disaster. More importantly, it is my personal belief that God will look kindly on a soul that does selfless acts. -
Crack Down on Chinese currency manipulation
Luke_Wilbur replied to Luke_Wilbur's topic in United States Politics
The only way this country is going to get out of this economic sinkhole is to create jobs. Financial capitalism is a fixed deck for the very few. We need a leader that will brand entrepreneur optimism, lower the corporate tax rate, and most importantly stop currency and market manipulation. -

Crack Down on Chinese currency manipulation
Luke_Wilbur replied to Luke_Wilbur's topic in United States Politics
I spoke with Congressman James Patrick "Jim" Moran at the 31st annual Memorial Day Festival and Parade in Fall Church, Virginia. He told me that the Currency Manipulation Bill was stuck in committee. That Republican leaders would not let the bill go to the floor. I told him that there are Republicans that want to see that bill go to the floor. He stated that no really listens to him anymore. I told him that I do. He smiled and told me to voted Democrat this Fall. We then spoke about the transfer of technology to China and how it is affecting our National Security. -
Very good article. We live in an age of Financial Capitalism where the only flags people wave are money. The Greek people had little choice in what happened to their country. Look to the source of who created the debt and what position they are in now.

Crack Down on Chinese currency manipulation
Luke_Wilbur replied to Luke_Wilbur's topic in United States Politics
Today I spoke with Dan Bongino, running for U.S. Senate in Maryland. I asked him whether he supported Mitt Romney's idea to stop Chinese currency manipulation. Dan responded that he believes in telling the truth. The bill to stop currency manipulation will never pass. The United States does not want put tariffs on China. If this happens he stated that prices will skyrocket and war could start. He then stated that Americans no longer support "Made in America." He asked me if I had one company that cuts my grass for $30 and another company offered to do the same job for $20, which would I pick. I told him that if the first company was doing a good job I would stay with them. He responded, that no one else would. It appears the Republican Party is split on this issue. -
During the Revolutionary War, James Monroe was one of the many patriots who accepted “loans” from Haym Salomon. This money enabled Monroe and the others to live in Philadelphia and carry on the war against the English.

Yes. He was my Professor. I nick named him Professor Datum. He was one of the best teachers I have ever had. So what is your opinion of the real purpose of the hexagram. I know that the pentagram deals with the microcosm and hexagram deals with the macrocosm. I understand male/female fire/water aspects of it.
