The Next Ward 3 Candidates Forum/Debate (con't)
truthseeker replied to bfrankdc's topic in District of Columbia Politics
Like all the other habitually-posting pro-rees aliases, he become less and less coherent as the evening wears on. Coupled with the telltale phrases we're all keeping track of, and a few other "coincidences" I'm not going to state here, it's a statistical anomaly to say the least. I mean, we're talking lottery odds here. Lightning striking five times. Eight twins in one family. Fascinating. -
C it is, then. I can't believe this guy actually thinks anyone here buys that he's some mysterious brand-new poster, who's never used any other name. It's hysterical, isn't it?! Andy Kaufman isn't really dead.
-
Golly, I'll bet a certain new poster does. OR, conversely, will use his new catchphrase. "You have a good point. I do not know, as I don't know Rees." Or something equally obtuse. Meh.

What a colossally predictable bore.
truthseeker replied to truthseeker's topic in District of Columbia Politics
What a bon mot! Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for Mr. H.L. Mencken! -
It's all so obvious now, I can't even be bothered responding to it. It's clearly Rees and/or the exact same person who posted under Roy Stewart, NikkiDix, Vincenzo Corleone, Grim Reaper, Angela Brannon, Tammy Bresloff, Sleazy Sam....saying the exact same nonsense over and over and over and frikkin' OVER. One appears, embarasses him/herself thoroughly, sculks or storms off, then appears within 48 hours with a new name and backstory. Saying, yup, the exact same nonsense over and over and over and frikkin' over again. I'll save you the work, little guy....just pick one of these: http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?showtopic=8138 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Turn out stunk at the meet and greet the candidates
truthseeker replied to Gay's topic in District of Columbia Politics
This is really his best work yet B. So many "I heards" and "someone else saids"....so much re-parsing..it's a classic! (http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?showtopic=8138) I know two people who attended and their version of events matches yours exactly. My friends do not lie either :-) Bring on the ad hominem remarks now.. -
Deleted post about Rees, Patterson and cats
truthseeker replied to factchecker2's topic in District of Columbia Politics
Thanks, Factchecker. I've got screenshots of a couple of old posts (2002) by him on the subject of cats. One in which he alleges that animal welfare snatches animals off peoples porches, and another in which he announces he's considering hiring a lawyer for his two cats (Morton and Max, or something). I'll post those after work tonight, but they're in the archives of one of the local Yahoogroups. -
Since you seem to require some sort of visual help, I'll be happy to post even clearer shots when I have more time. Gotta run.

Why does this sounds so familiar? Hmmm. Where have I heard this before??? OH Yeah!! Check this out, particularly the routing information: more in next post.
-
(hee hee) This just gets better every day!
-
I'M surprised that Rees has said he won't attend...given his previous bragging about how the Hospital Association and health care community in general was "throwing their support" behind him and "giving him their highest rating." Which, by the way, still hasn't happened. Though I'm sure our new friend GR will submit some highly plausible explanation for that. Can't wait!

!!

I'll spare him from having to log in again: "I'm NOT REES!!!!!" So, Gay Republican, are you asserting then "for the record" (ha!) that you are none of these posters: DC Deep Throat, Vincenzo Corleone, Ramon and/or Roy Stewart, Giovanni Luchese, Tammy Bresloff, Angela Brannon, NikkiDix, MissGloverPark, Officer Magana, Sleazy Sam, Snotty Nose Bob (ick), etc. The Grim Reaper, etc? Also, what is up with him and "mini"? "Mini-flyers", "Mini-posters", "Mini-forum...." One imagines Freud having a posthumous field day. Sort to say ;-)

Critics of Candidates Say The Darndest Things
truthseeker replied to grim's topic in District of Columbia Politics

When you stop posting lies and ad hominem attacks, we'll all stop challenging you on them. Simple as that. Go ahead. See if you can do it. Post an opinion on an issue, and see if it's humanly possible for you to prevent it from devolving into a grandiose "I'm (oops, I mean "Rees") The Coolest Guy Ever" rant or a rambling ad hominem one about Brooks. You can do it! And not just once, but always! I believe in you Jonathan Rees! You are a great man! And you can beat this afflication, with just a little bit of self-discipline. You can do it!!

Human has once again completely missed the point. One might say willingly so. I'm no Democrat, dude. If you're going to jump in here, you really should do more research. Go back several months. Read critically. CLICK ON THE LINKS provided. It's a lot of work, but without knowledge, opinion is without value. I would have expected a fellow non-Democrat to appreciate the importance of character, truthfulness and honor in potential public servants, and the value of an informed electorate. The truth about Rees is going to be revealed very soon, and to appear to have been his supporter will prove to be personally embarassing.
-
Hey look everyone. Another first time DCpages user, who also uses the phrase "this guy rees" habitually, and immediately repeats Rees' own familiar rants about "wealthy gays" and Rees "covering more territory" and quotes Rees' favored "statistics" about local political history. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pretend this isn't Rees again. It's utterly ridiculous. I'm simply not going to engage this latest persona. See my responses to all the previous ones as they'll all apply here. Get your spotlight fetish met somewhere else, little fella. PS: What BFrank said. No one but you ever mentions Brooks. Please provide a link to any post in which anyone here claims to be a Brooks supporter. This whole Brooks Vs. Rees "debate" is completely fictional. It's all Rees badmouthing Brooks, and the rest of calling you on your voluminous BS.

Thanks, Luke. Molly Ivins' perspective is always a welcome addition. She is too often the lone sensible voice in what passes for our national dialogue, and I couldn't agree with her more. In fact, the idea that there are two functioning, oppositional parties with distinguishable ideologies is, by now, utterly laughable. They're all on the same team now. Team Corporation. Their supposed internicine battles are trivial and mostly just for show. We're given a "choice" between Coke and Pepsi, metaphorically speaking, when we want ginger ale, or Cabernet or just some clean tap water, thanks. Don't get me started. I heart Molly Ivins.

TRUTHSEEKER ENDORSES REES FOR CITY COUNCIL
truthseeker replied to grim's topic in District of Columbia Politics
Answer "E": This really has nothing to do with the POINT of the original post, which was that Rees apparently claims to own a court filing company, which at least raises questions about his supposed employment history. Answer D (ad hominem attack, the well-know last refuge of the guilty) SO predictable http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?showtopic=8140 http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?showtopic=8140 Altering records? Why that sounds like Answer G! (And it's totally wrong. Demonstrably so, too.) -
United States Vs. Rees. jrr_1955 JRRees1955 Yahoogroups source codes
-
http://www.stormpages.com/fatgirl/ SO many interesting links from googling "JRRees1955" and jrr_1955. Yes, the same rees, as will be demonstrated by the yahoogroups posts your google search reveals. Also, if you're REALLY hardcore about this, try googling "rrjstewart", who posted from the exact same Yahoo IP address as "Jrr_1955" on at least one of those groups, immediately after his post. Don't take my word for it though. Check out the *source codes* on both posts. In fact, check out the source codes for ALL the pro-rees posts on tenleytown and gloverpark and mount pleasant groups, mostly from August 2005. Alex Biddy, Kathleen Roddy, NikkiDix, Rees himself.... Notice anything? ;_) To see ALL the posts, click on the last page of google results, and then select the "show omitted posts" option. (and in case you want to take it a step further, check out those addys against the ones from THIS site - posted in the posts entitled "Multiple Alias Disorder" on this board's archives. Ding-ding-ding.) Have fun, all. If you can call it that.
