  1. http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:l8BedT...us&ct=clnk&cd=1 I've got screen shots of the rest, FYI.
  2. Yes, but how fascinating that I haven't received the one of which you spoke earlier. I wonder why that could be.
  3. Wow. Your sense of humor is as juvenile as everything else about you. You're not good at anything at all, it seems. Except being a semi-literate, obsessional, libelling laughingstock. Kudos on THAT.
  4. Exactly. And notice that the "link" (It's obviously not a link, but pasted text) makes no mention of an endorsement, of Brooks, or of donations. Anemic. Tawdry. Unintentionally Hilarious. Peurile. Typical, in other words. But he's getting attention, isn't he? Did you notice how, when no one responded to him this evening, he just went berzerk, posting anything that came into his head that might possibly attract comment? SO pathetic. I suspect that Red Foreman didn't pay enough attention to him as a child ;-)
  5. I just won a bet! That's EXACTLY what I predicted you would say. Basically, "look it up yourself," but no link, screenshot or other documentation. I would have one $5 more had your post contained a childish insult, however. Still, awesome!
  6. Um. Yes. So you've said once or twice. Of course, this has nothing to do with my post. Foolish little person.
  7. EVERYWHERE? Wow. I figured you'd eventually hit every website every created in history, but it happened way faster than I thought. Just goes to show ya: obsession is powerful.
  8. In flagrant violation of the Craiglist Terms of Use, which every poster agrees to when posting. No ethical standard is too large or too small for this guy to ignore. Read the responses to his spam whenever they end up on the Isle. Let's just say they're received with exactly the warmth you'd expect ;-) Also: "Everywhere on the internet"? That's a LOTTA internet!
  9. Well, that would be highly inappropriate, particularly as I promised this person anonymity. you remember anonymity, eh? I know you're a big fan of the concept. If pretending I'm lying helps you feel less anxiety-ridden, well by all means, knock yourself out.
  10. Oh fer Petessake.... that rhetoric is SO over the top and irresponsible. Subtley of thought is yet another character trait you seem to lack in spades. Even if he did accept money from Jack Quinn (for the sake of argument) it doesn't mean that he "hates gays." The blog attached to Brooks' own website (brooks2006.com) shows his actual position on Gay rights. Words can't express my disgust for the hypocrisy of someone whose alias postings here have been routinely, revoltingly anti-gay (see posts by Deep Throat, Lucifer, Grim Reaper, etc.) http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?showtopic=7861 http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?showtopic=7911 Here's "Mr. Rivera's" (!) recent post on City Desk in which he claims responsibility for the pro-Rees alias postings. At 1:18 AM, Ramon Stewart-Rivera said... Let me finally identify myself. I am Ramon Stewart-Rivera. I work at the CVS Pharmacy on the DC/Chevy Chase border...... ... Again blame me as I am all these aliases but Sam knows how that games works as the King of aliases himself. Rees always posted in his name. It is I who did the anonymous postings but they were directed toward those people I know are with Sam Brooks and I think by now they know it is me coming at them. I am not ashamed to put my name forward or tell the City Desk, DC Wire or anybody else why
  11. By the way, "Ramon" are you aware that when you steal photographs from the internet without permission or attribution, you're violating copyright law? Only photos that participate in the Creative Commons program or those in the public domain are exceptions. And most of the ones on that excuse for a blog do NOT fall into those categories. Rees has apparently failed to notice that real websites use "photo courtesy of" on any photo they didn't take themselves. It seems everything your BFFL Rees, does involves some sort of ethical breach. And what DID happen to jrrees.blogspot.com? :-)
  12. I just called a friend who happens to be a major force in the Stein organization. TOTAL FABRICATION. Needless to say. I'd be careful about repeating this one again Rees.
  13. He's so ridiculous. I don't even bother anymore, except in extreme cases. It's like watching a train bent on derailing. It's chugging down the same old track, full OCD speed ahead, until suddenly, an actual idependantly-verifiable fact (disguised for the purposes of this tortured metaphor as a boulder) appears ahead of it. Instead of applying the brakes, said Crazy Conductor tries to tell all the passengers that there is no boulder. "Ask anyone! Everyone knows there's no boulder! It only looks like a boulder. I am the best conductor ever!" Only the conductor doesn't say it. Someone with his exact same voice gets on the PA system and says "I know the conductor! He's right about the boulder. Anyone who mentions the boulder is a liar and probably unemployed." In the story, the conductor is dangerous. And too blinded by his own egoism to see the harm he's doing, or why other people try to stop it.
  14. THANK you. That's it in a nutshell. No pun intended:-)
  15. Sloppy writing, sloppy analysis, bizarre and laughable in general. In other words, typical. *yawn* So apparently you were afraid of what people were saying about the quickly-deleted blog "jrrees.blogspot.com". Can't blame ya there. Fortunately, your latest attempt at revising your own history is futile; Screenshots of all the posts, including ones you deleted shortly after posting them, have already been distributed around town.
  16. Either that or he realized how quickly and easily his claim about "USA and Rees Vs. Daro Realty" would be discredited. Anyone with access to actual legal databases quickly found out the truth about the actual case. Not to mention people who actually were involved in the case or are acquainted with people who were ;-) Perhaps he's had a lucid moment and realized how bizarre and damaging the whole sorry enterprise was?................. Nah. I imagine that some of the libel victims, who saw some of the infamous now-deleted posts, have responded in the expected way, too. PS: Thank God for screenshots.
  17. The issue isn't whether those of us here spend time volunteering for our community. And as a person who's very engaged in volunteer work, I kind of resent the implication. The issue is why you continue to allow the board rules to be violated. I do not think that enabling libel, cruelty and deception by a political candidate (particularly when directed against private citizens) is in any way helping to "improve the community." In fact, I think it has exactly the opposite effect. Again, if it weren't for you allowing libelous posts and hate speech, no one would have to respond to them. And if your board stats plummeted, well so be it.
  18. The more he's allowed to compulsively post here, the higher the board's usage stats. This makes it easier to market DCPages to advertisers and investors. Sadly, profit usually trumps propriety.
  19. Oh baloney. This is untrue, and demonstrably so. BFrank, me, and the other Rees watchers here have always used our exact individual IP addresses, and have in fact FREQUENTLY been logged in at the exact same time. Just look at the posting histories. It's not really up for debate or interpretation. We're different people, none of us are Sam Brooks or are working for him or any political entity of any kind. I'm not, anyway, and I've obtained what I feel is reasonable assurance about everyone else here, too. We've each posted under one, unchanging screen name for months now. Note, however, that the Rees alias have come and gone, using proxy services to hide the IP trail. Nuff said. (But if you need more information, visit the "Multiple Alias Disorder" posts, containing IP information, from two months ago.) Why do I bother? Let him rant on. He's tried repeating this ridiculous story for months, to no avail. Because it's simply, verifiably, untrue. Though maybe it's useful for new readers here to the Bizarro World to be remind that the OP is attempting, with limited skill, to re-frame this by blaming "Brooks and Rees". In reality it's "Rees, and people who find his online activities offensive and worthy of scrutiny." That's "people" - plural, not singular. "For the record" as a certain candidate likes to say, I don't give a hang about Sam Brooks. I wouldn't even know about him if it weren't for Rees' obsessional ranting about him.
  20. WoW! That sounds like a great weekend, Joe. Good food, good friends, the beauty of nature, some entertainment too... That's what life is all about. I'm glad you got to experience that!
