I wrote a letter to the President to hopefully end this debate. I received a confirmation message: Hopefully someone in his staff will read it. -

For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them. He has even proposed eight consumer protections relating specifically to the health insurance industry. No Discrimination for Pre-Existing Conditions Insurance companies will be prohibited from refusing you coverage because of your medical history. No Exorbitant Out-of-Pocket Expenses, Deductibles or Co-Pays Insurance companies will have to abide by yearly caps on how much they can charge for out-of-pocket expenses. No Cost-Sharing for Preventive Care Insurance companies must fully cover, without charge, regular checkups and tests that help you prevent illness, such as mammograms or eye and foot exams for diabetics. No Dropping of Coverage for Seriously Ill Insurance companies will be prohibited from dropping or watering down insurance coverage for those who become seriously ill. No Gender Discrimination Insurance companies will be prohibited from charging you more because of your gender. No Annual or Lifetime Caps on Coverage Insurance companies will be prevented from placing annual or lifetime caps on the coverage you receive. Extended Coverage for Young Adults Children would continue to be eligible for family coverage through the age of 26. Guaranteed Insurance Renewal Insurance companies will be required to renew any policy as long as the policyholder pays their premium in full. Insurance companies won't be allowed to refuse renewal because someone became sick.

I think the government should consider doing a "Green Loan Program" like the "Cash for Clunkers." At least we will no where the money is going. Consumers want to purchase goods, but they need financial assistance, because they have no money. This time only benefit American companies. The "Cash for Clunkers" allowed people to purchase foreign cars. We do not want people to purchase foreign made goods. It defeats the whole purpose.

As a parent I would like to understand why Thimerosal is going to be in the H1N1 vaccine? The preservative Thimerosal was taken out of childhood vaccines because of a fear of causing autism. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius responds to parents' concerns about its use in test batches of the H1N1 vaccine. Thimerosal in Vaccines Thimerosal is a mercury-containing organic compound (an organomercurial). Since the 1930s, it has been widely used as a preservative in a number of biological and drug products, including many vaccines, to help prevent potentially life threatening contamination with harmful microbes. Over the past several years, because of an increasing awareness of the theoretical potential for neurotoxicity of even low levels of organomercurials and because of the increased number of thimerosal containing vaccines that had been added to the infant immunization schedule, concerns about the use of thimerosal in vaccines and other products have been raised. Indeed, because of these concerns, the Food and Drug Administration has worked with, and continues to work with, vaccine manufacturers to reduce or eliminate thimerosal from vaccines.

I actually think there are many networks. People want to do business with people that have the same amount of cash flow. Sales people qualify you every day. Why is this different?

I understand that American cars more than 12 years old account for only 25 percent of the miles driven in the United States, yet they produce roughly 75 percent of all automobile-born pollution, including greenhouse gasses and low-level pollutants like ozone and fine particulates that wreak havoc on the lungs of urban dwellers. So, I see the Eco benifit. The only problem I see is with this Cash for Clunker bill is that you can purchase foreign cars????? I went to Ford Darcars and they tried to sell me a KIA. Ahem... KIA is made in KOREA. Not in the USA!!!!!! Under the Department of Energy the Accelerated Retirement of Inefficient Vehicles Program you can trade in for a domestic or a foreign vehicle. How are we ever going to get our money back from GM or Dodge?????? How much money do those car companies owe us????

It is interesting to note that the District of Columbia agencies do not share information in one database or contact each other when information is needed. We already gave this Information to the DC DMV, DC DHS, Eckington Service Center. That is why the disabled fall through the cracks to get money that was already granted. Will nationalized Healthcare be the same way. http://www.dcmessageboards.com/Montgomery-...tri-t16714.html

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) distanced himself from Kristol's advice to "go for the kill," worrying that "there have been some Republicans who haven't been looking at the polls." Specifically, Grassley referred to a poll showing that if health reform fails, "voters would assign blame 30 percent to the health industry, 22 to Republicans, 11 percent to Democrats and only 4 percent to Obama." The following is an unrehearsed interview with Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, speaking to you live from Washington. Participating in today's public affairs program are Scott Jackson with KMCD Radio in Fairfield and Randy Cauthron with the Spencer Daily Reporter in Spencer. The first question will be from Scott Jackson

Spread Israeli Propaganda Through Twitter and Facebook
Luke_Wilbur replied to a topic in Middle East Politics
People need to understand the dynamic of cyber culture. All actions and words create informational effects in the perceptions of the population, whether intended or not. Governments and many organizations are contantly thinking on how they can best plug into the social network environment so that their information rises to the top. Thus winning hearts and minds of the targeted population. Facebook and Twiiter are great ways to slip into our collective conscious with minimal effort. PSYOP messages and propaganda can be instituted with no mention of country, organization, or political motivation. Twitter and Facebook give the opportuntiy to motivate symbolically, emotionally, its followers to their very core. -
"Our polling and research shows that nearly 80 percent of Americans don't even know that DC residents are denied voting representation in Congress," added Zherka. "Simply by telling their friends and sharing information, these students can play a crucial role in the fight for DC voting rights." Zherka also noted that the same polling shows that once people are educated about the issue, that more than 80 percent support voting representation for District residents.

Joe and I went over to Dr. Eist's office today. We asked him about the letter he promised to fax last month that we still have not received. Dr Eist responded that he did fax the letter for Joe. He stated that he will fax it again. I told him that we could just pick it up. He told me that he is going to try again to fax it. If it does not go through then we will come pick it up. Americans are beginning to understand the pitfalls of monopolies. Both General Motors and General Electric started off as manufacturers. Both companies business model was making world class products. Both companies were so successful that they dominated their markets. The problem started when GM and GE became financial institutions (quasi banks) and lost focus. Instead of putting money into research and development both companies started thinking like banks and began to invest their money with speculative markets. General Motors and General Electric thought of short term gains rather than long term strategy. Foreign competitors took advantage of this weakness and started competing with their product lines. The current financial crisis caused General Motors to get dethroned and General Electric is tetering. The only difference between the two is that General Electric is also a media empire. General Motors got thrown to the media lions and General Electric was able to silence them. Although, GE voting shareholders have not been too happy with the company's direction. But, GE has been working political and media clout to their advantage. They also have a large cash flow. I don't see the government halting monopolies, so I think General Electric is going to make it through this recession. I just hope the company's directors show some patriotism and bring their products back home for American workers to make. Otherwise, General Electric will start to be shunned as a foreign competitor that took money from American taxpayers and gave nothing in return. That does nobody good.

I spoke with Takeda of Hughes Net. Takeda told me that this is now recorded as Case No. 18536282. Takeda stated that Hughes Net thought a technician was already out there. I told her no technician has been there at all. Takeda asked me for two telephone numbers to call me back. Takeda told me that Hughes made a mistake and to contact billing department to get credit. Went past two business days. Takeda told me that Hughes technical department only has dispatches and they do not give numbers of the installers. Takeda told me that now that I have a third case no. 18574316
