Ladies beware I tell my clients that pictures don't always tell the story, I to have seen those pictures on other websites and PLEASE be careful of celebrity photos........come on, not everyone can take credit for doing Beyounce's hair. Hello Tamara, In the past I would have said I didn't work with natural hair because like you said it is hard to match, but that might change soon. I found a company that sells natural hair for African American women BUT I haven't worked with it yet as a matter of fact I have a client intrested in getting an afro..........I will post pictures and keep you posted.. Hello Missy, First of all I don't care for the polywax system (but that is personal), PLEASE ask for a removal demostration before hand, you want a visual demo not just an explanation, if heat is required GET OUT OF THERE...that is too damaging to the hair and VERY hard to remove. A special chemical should be used and the fusion bond should crystalize, at that point it is easily brushed out of the hair, if your stylist refuse to do a demonstration they have something to hide, ask for refrences, I have clients who don't want their picture published, and that is their right also PICTURES CAN BE FAKED OR STOLEN, but they will gladly give me a refrence, be sure to follow up with the refrences and ask questions if they have no refrences I don't think I would trust it why be the first? ......... Hello Janae, I have also run across fusion that look like weaves but that is mostly because that client was not willing to pay for QUALITY hair, or the extentionist used cheap hair, the hair texture has to match yours. Alot of women admire the stars extentions (myself included) but I don't have their bank account, or the time. Please keep in mind that these girls change their hair on a constant basis (for work) and they can afford to have their fusion redone as often as posible (in many cases every week), they also use partial lace-fronts from time to time which instantly change the front of the hair (parts) it just isn't practical or cost effective for the average client to invest in that (BUT I WILL SOON CHANGE THAT), these girls are in the spotlight and under hot lights on a regular, they can't afford to sweat and allow the hair to revert on camera, a top of the line great quality lace front partial can START at $3000. and fusion extensions of the stars START at $4500. The rest of us need a good foundation to work with meaning healthy hair and good hair length, alot of my clients have chin to shoulder length hair and that allows them more freedom and choices, and for those with hair 1/4 inch or less yes they are pretty limited. Please go into this with REALISTIC expectations, most of my ladies wear fusion because it is the most natural looking and they can take care of their hair with the system in place but it has to be attached , I never let them forget it is their hair on a temporary basis only. My advice, think long and hard before you get it done because not only is it an investment but a commitment and if you have doubt don't do it. Thank You for your response Valencia

When I spoke to Ms. Webb, she informed me that she was very patient and gave the stylist several chances to rectify the problem but all she did was add more polywax to her hair and didnot remove the polywax from the first application which made the problem worse and on top of that she charged her $50. for each visit even though she was trying to fix a problem that she created, the stylist would never admit that she made a mistake she blamed the client. Ms. Webb also stated that her scalp burned so bad because it was so dry, she applied oil because she could not take it anymore and of course the stylist told her that is what caused the problem BUT that was the second visit if that was the case why did it shed after the first visit? Don't get me wrong I am not perfect and I have had clients that shed after the service but they will tell you I move heaven and earth to fix the problem FREE OF CHARGE THAT IS MY JOB!!!!!!!!!! Some people shed that comes with the teritory from time to time in most cases that I have dealt with it is as simple as the hair used. Not all hair is compatible to all clients for example I love Outre Velvet Remi but I used it on a client not so long ago and she started to shed right away, I actually did her entire head over and used the Velvet Remi again thinking it was just human error on my part and again it started to shed not right away but when she went to her stylist to have it cut so I changed the hair and guess what? no more problems, I had another client that I not only had to change the hair but the fusion system used, that is why I have more than one fusion system, fine, thin hair does not react the same as thick coarse hair. That is why hair relaxers come in more than one strength, and those that don't will not take in everyone's hair. One more thing, everyone has a non refund policy BUT remember that is null and void if the stylist breach the contract all services should last for a reasonable amount of time for example, press and curl 4 days that is reasonable, fusion services 4 days unacceptable. The problem I have with fusion kits and instructional tapes is they leave out alot of useful and very important information and most of the time you don't know what you are getting, for example I had a client who bought one of those kits and pre-fused her own hair and wanted me to apply it when I tested the so called remover included with the kit it didn't work, can you imagine the disaster that would have caused? Turns out it was polywax and that product rips at the hair. What if she applied the system herself? she would have a major problem on her hands and it would be too late to fix it. When I tell you ladies to go to an advanced extension specialist and for my fellow stylist get hands on training it is because I know what is out there and who is out there, it is easy if you are trained by a professional, it appears easy if you mimic a tape. As for your hair type you need to do a consultaton to determine the best texture of hair to use, you also need a trained eye to spot damage I could go on and on.................. I spoke to Camille myself and pretty much interviewed her, I found her to be very knowledgeable about her product I can't tell you how many times I have shopped at a hair supply store and the clerk has NO idea what they are selling, Camille ONLY SELL VIRGIN INDIAN HAIR she also knows and understand the significance of the hair ceremony and the culture, that might not be important to the average client but it is impressive to me that she is as dedicated to her product as I am to mine that gives me one less thing to worry about believe me I would not order from her if I didn't feel comfortable. I'm sorry I didn't make myself clear. I don't recommend that my clients remove their own fusion (I even offer that as a free service) but the process depending on the fusion bond used is so easy 95% of my business is repeat and I give removal lessons to anyone that ask for it, perfect example I had a client yesterday who is leaving for Iraq for a year not to mention I have ladies that fly in from around the country, I'm not going to ask them to pay airfare just for a removal when I know a child can do it (BASIC FUSION BONDS ONLY) as bad as I wanted to do the Ulitimate Fusion on her I didnot because removal is more complicated and must be removed by a specialist. No problem, old school bonds pretipped or otherwise is always a particular size I now make my own pretipped believe it or not but whether it is pre-tipped by me or manufactured the bonds are a certain size (even when I cut them in half) also keep in mind I use the hot gun and the pot method as well those are my basic systems and no matter what if you make the bonds too small they shed BAD that is one of the main reasons we do touch-up's. With the Ultimate fusion the hair is pretipped but not with fusion bond and the bond itself is pre-made and then applied there are no creases so there are no air pockets, and you must make sure the hair strands are full enough to fill the fusion bond so you have much smaller bonds and more fullness. You still need to touch-up but not as often. Please don't get me wrong I will always use my basic system MY CLIENTS LOVE IT but I'm proud to give them an alternative, it is hard to explain without going into too much detail, it is easier to show you. It is not what I would call pre-tipped but brushed with VERY light adhesive and sealed to the hair. First I want to apologize to everyone who showed interest in the Ultimate Fusion, I worked on that system for about a year, I tested and sampled until I thought I was comfortable with it but I have since found that it still needs improvement. I have a client who is a chemist and she tested one of the products that is used to seal the bonds and found some things that I am not comfortable with. PLEASE DON'T WORRY......this is not a system that is wide spread on the market as a matter of fact it is VERY new and I have informed the distributer of my findings and they promised they will work on an improvement for us if not, it is back to the drawing board. In the meantime I will continue to offer my signature system that myself and my clients LOVE Thank You Valencia
