LADIES BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE POSTED ON MY THREAD, ADVERTISING FUSION LESSONS VIA PHONE AND EMAIL..... INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD INCLUDE VISUAL AS WELL AS AUDIO PLEASE DON'T FALL INTO THAT TRAP. IT WAS ALSO NOTED THAT FUSION SUPPLIES CAN BE FOUND EVERYWHERE. (LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW THAT ALREADY) AND MOST OF US ARE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO KNOW ALL FUSION BONDS ARE NOT EQUAL. PLEASE GET THE PROPER TRAINING, DONT FORGET ABOUT THE BAD HAIR FUSION PICTURES THAT I HAVE POSTED IN MY ONLINE PHOTO ABLUM, (LINK BELOW IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, click on bad hair). DON'T LET THAT BE YOU....I QUESTION HOW THIS PERSON WAS TRAINED. I ALSO HAVE AN IDEA WHO IT IS IF THIS TECHNIQE COULD BE TAUGHT OVER THE PHONE OR BY EMAIL I WOULDN'T HAVE THE PICTURES, EVERYBODY WOULD BE GREAT AT IT AND I WOULD HAVE MORE TIME TO MAKE CLIENTS MORE BEAUTIFUL AND LESS TIME CLEANING UP BEHIND TRIFLING SO-CALLED STYLIST. REMEMBER A PROFESSIONAL WOULD NEVER ENCOURAGE YOU TO PLAY RUSSIAN ROULETTE WITH YOUR HAIR. I GOT RID OF THE ORIGINAL POST THIS TIME BUT NEXT TIME IT WILL BE REPORTED, I REFUSE TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE A POST LIKE THAT CAN CAUSE. BAD HAIR FUSION.........(click the bad hair ablum) THANK YOU FOR READING Valencia

Hi Geneva, I always love viewing this particular thread but I never decided to post until now. I don't mean to be rude but why would you post about your services in another fusion specialist's thread? It would've been better to create your own thread like other specialists have done. Also, are you sure that fusion should be taught over the phone or email? I would think there are things that need to be seen throughout this process. I'll repeat, I'm really not trying to sound rude. I'm just thinking about what's fair THANK YOU GENEVA, I AGREE PLEASE START YOUR OWN THREAD. I WILL NOT BE RESPOSIBLE FOR THE MESS THAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO MAKE, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. LADIES BEWARE YOU CANNOT LEARN HOW TO DO THIS TECHNIQUE OVER THE PHONE OR BY EMAIL!!!! INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD INCLUDE VISUAL AS WELL AS AUDIO. IT SHOULD MAKE YOU QUESTION HOW THIS PERSON LEARNED THE TECHNIQUE. REMEMBER THE BAD HAIR FUSION PICTURES THAT I HAVE POSTED (LINK BELOW JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, click on the bad hair ablum). DON'T LET THAT BE YOU. AND BEWARE OF HER STUDENTS............ BAD HAIR FUSION PICTURES Valencia

I'm sorry but I don't give application instructions, just advice to arm you with the information that you need before you get the service done. Hands on training is the best route to go....... I know people don't care to hear this but believe it or not I am looking out for you. I understand that you are trying to save money but I'm trying to save your hair. Thank You for your response Valencia

THANK YOU MY DEAR...... Valencia

I'm Sorry I don't give instructional application information and I have yet to find an instructional DVD that I like. Hands on training is the best route because you can't tell if you are applying the extentions properly when you mimic a tape. Supervision is important for newbies because questions can be answered and mistakes can be fixed. There is so much to learn about this business and it is almost impossible to learn most of it from a 2 hour DVD or by reading instructions. Thank You for your response Valencia

If your hair is starting to dread the extensions need to be removed ASAP!! If the dreading has just started you can save your hair. You need to have them removed by a professional because certain tools are required, have them deep condition your hair and patiently comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb (while conditioning) after that wash the hair and deep condition again. I am so sorry, It sounds like you weren't given proper aftercare, maintanance instructions. Valencia

Hello Latosha, I will email the information requested......... Thank You Valencia

PERFECT ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You Shiry, Kassidy, Shiry is right but let me add that a good relaxer and the right hair texture is key. And I know alot of ladies don't want to hear this but proper application is so important, consider having it done by a specialist. The bonds should be placed about 1/8 of an inch from the scalp so if you flat iron under the bonds it should not pouf or maybe you need a relaxer touch-up, it is hard to analyze without first looking at your hair so please take this for what it's worth.......an intelligent guess...... I hope this helps Valencia

Thank You Karen, I got chills when I read this post.......I called you and left a message on your voice mail. Thank You for being patient, my daughter is comming up to help me in Dec... Again Thank You Valencia

1.There are several strand by strand methods, too many to name but the most popular, cold & hot fusion. 2.I use the hot fusion system using a keritin based fusion bond. Cold fusion is the application of hair extensions with the use of plastic coated nickel alloy clamps. 3.The bonds should be applied about 1/8th of an inch from the scalp. 4.Fusion bonds last about 4 months with proper care and maintanance depending on how fast the hair grows. 5.The key is to make sure the extension hair texture is as close to your hair texture as possible, it doesn't matter how often you blow-dry or flat iron. 6.Most websites dedicated to any hair service sell the service, we work and train hard to show our talent and creativity, but most extension specialist offer free consutations (this is the time to ask questions) the pro's and con's can be many depending on your concerns but here are a few general. Pro's You can take care of your hair with the system in place..(deep condition and oil) You can relax and color your hair with the system in place. No bumps, lumps, tracks or braids.......(undetectable) Con's Hidden costs........(fusion touch-up's) Unlike braids you can't apply and forget about your hair, you need to maintain your hair, and it takes work (even more with longer hair) you need to consider your lifestyle and how much time you are willing to devote to your hair. I hope this helps Thank You Valencia

Hello AJ, I never ordered internet hair before a few months ago....I heard so many horror stories, bad hair, no hair (scam) ect, so I didn't want to take the chance until Remy Hair Today found me. This is Pure Virgin Indian Hair, and she will send samples for a small fee. This is the best hair that I have worked with so far and I have been in the business for a long time not to mention the customer service goes far beyond the call of duty....I live by the same rule burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me because I have others to look out for. If you want to see samples of the hair check out my online photo ablum, (link below) and click on the Remy Hair ablum. If or when you try the hair keep us posted . I tend to stay away from polywax, TOO MANY HORROR STORIES, If there is no damage you should be able to get a redo at anytime....... But PLEASE do a consultation first and ask questions..Make sure the salon use keritin based bonds they cause no damage and are easy to remove. I am located in the Laurel, Maryland area. Feel free to email me if you have additional questions. hairbyvalencia@yahoo.com I LOVE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!! vALENCIA

Hello Nikki, The best way to become a good extensionist is first going to cosmetology school to learn the basics of hair and haircare, a good foundation only works in your favor. Next get hands on training with fusion extensions, dvd's don't tell the whole story and most poor extensionist only mimic what they see........... Thank you for your response Valencia
-
THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! It helps others more than you think...BLESS YOU. How are you going to remove the remaining polywax? PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU ATTEMPT TO REMOVE. I cringe at the thought. I can't tell you how many clients email me with the exact same story regarding this salon Please keep us posted. AND ladies remember BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! When a stylist doesn't take resposibility for a mistake it happens over and over not taking responsibility means there was nothing learned and that stunts growth how unfortunate for the stylist and even more for the client. Again Thank You for your response......... Valencia

I promise I have nothing against Sophia....Just that bit of information that she posted about HAIR OIL not the removal process. Yes I trained Jessie and I also encourage my students to be independant, I think Jessie charges for removal and that is fine that is the way she choose to run her business I give my clients an option and I train them as well and ask them to give me a demonstration to make sure they not only do it right but to make sure they are comfortable like I said it is not brain surgery. Maybe Jessie choose not to give her clients removal lessons in that case yes they need to be removed by a professional (JESSIE). Please let us open that can of worms, I don't do an application and tell my clients that I don't do removals go to a professional WHY? Because I am a professional and it is their choice but I DO REMOVALS but only MY WORK unless it is an emergency. Thank You for posting Valencia I'd like to clarify ONE thing. MY website is just that MY website and completely updated by ME. And I'm very proud of it I might add. The FAQ asks whether a client can remove the extensions themselves. MY response (not valencia's) was "no" for TWO reasons 1. different systems require different removers 2. if not removed properly damage can result. Not b/c I want the client to be dependent on me or b/c I want the extra money but b/c I will ensure that it's done properly. This is why they come to us folks! We clients, b/c I too have been a client at some point in my life, decide that we're smarter than the professionals and take matters into our own hands and end up regretting it later. WE professionals try to save them the grief but some lessons we clients have to learn ourselves. Am I completely opposed to a client removing them themselves...no! Is Valencia...no! What we professionals find more often than not is an impatient client trying to hurry and get the extensions out. I've seen this happen with acrylic nails as well. If a client is not able to come in and see me would I tell her how to do it...OF COURSE. It's all about customer service people! As a matter of fact I have a client that asked me to take out her sew-in weave for her b/c she didn't know where to start. I said yes b/c it's a courtesy I'd like to give her, that's why I'm the professional. It's about taking care of the people that are willing to give us their hard earned money in order to feel marvelous when they walk out our doors. They trust OUR judgement. This is absolutely ludicrous. We do what we do b/c we care about people. It's a plus to get paid for such small favors. Someone once told me that rules are not set in stone, they're just guidelines by which we can live by. I don't want a client sitting at home thinking removal is a simple feat w/o the proper information. My lesson learned in all of THIS. Maybe I'll add that to my FAQs! Ciao ladies. I feel that I've already exerted too much time and energy on something so trivial. Continue to be blessed. THIS IS WHY SHE IS ONE OF MY PROTEGE'S!!!!!!!!!! SHE THINKS ON HER OWN....AND GUESS WHAT? WE ARE BOTH RIGHT!!!!!!!!! And PLEASE keep in mind we have a different clientele. Thank You Valencia

HELLO EVERYONE!!!! I had to share this story with you. It was my honor to do fusion on one of America's finest. She found me through this forum and emailed me. She told me that she was in Iraq at the time but will be in the states in a few months for a few weeks only. We did a consultation through email, and she sent me a picture. Eventually she called me to set up an appontment....which was yesterday.......As you all know I now use the Remy Hair Today hair and LOVE IT.....not to mention the customer service is the BEST....I spoke to Camille, emailed the picture of my client and placed my order, but there was a slight problem....It is Typhoon season in India and our hair package was held up. Camille kept me posted and called me when the package was in her hand but that was a day before America's Finest appointment, not only did Camille send the package overnight but she gave me a wake up call at 6am to make sure I was up to receive it.....I got the package at 7:53 sharp, and I had to process and pre-tip the hair by 11am and got it done. I am happy to report that I couldn't be more happy with the results.......THANK YOU CAMILLE.....AND WE LOVE YOU AMERICA'S FINEST.......YOU ARE BOTH WONDERFUL WOMEN.......And last but not least my stylist Reniece, I am thrilled that she is going fulltime in December and I promise she will be a force to reckon with the girl has MAD SKILLS.......For those who don't know, Reniece does my haircuts and basic services for my clients and what can I say? her work speaks for itself. CHECK OUT THE PICTURES....BEFORE AND AFTER (under Remy Hair Today) MY ONLINE PHOTO ABLUM I LOVE MY JOB Valencia
