Jim, Before Bob Summersgill took all of his pictures off the internet, those picture you see on the bob-summersgill.blogspot were put there by him, and you could access them by Googling images and Bob Summersgill. There was no libeling of Bob Summersgill at all and when he learned his dirty pictures were being looked and and made an issue before many members of the US Senate, he rushed to take them down last week. No libel took place and Summersgill has never stepped forward and denied those are pictures of him.

THE BUSINESS OF HATE IS GOOD FOR THE BOTTOM LINE Passing a “Same Sex Marriage Ban” would benefit business and minorities. How? Some believe that the influx of lgbt people into DC is the result that “lgbt” people believe that DC is one of the few ripe areas in the USA for same sex marriage to come to pass. As a result of the influx of lgbt people into DC, this has contributed heavily to rising wages, for “them”, rising costs all round to all and a hidden factor contributing to gentrification. If a same sex marriage ban would be passed in DC, it is believed that many in the DC lgbt community would leave DC as no longer seeing DC as fertile ground to achieve their goal. A same sex marriage ban could see 25% to 30% of lgbt people leaving DC out of anger and the net result would be: Employers would replace such people who usually demand a higher wage with equally qualified people, but at a lower wage, rents would go down because there would be a glut of empty and un-rentable apartments, cost of living increases would slow down, minorities, many whom are poor would not be squeezed out and so on. The foregoing is based upon studies of lgbt migration from jurisdictions that have passed same sex marriage bans like Ohio and others. Banning same sex marriage in DC could be good for business, good for minorities and good for the poor who usually suffer most from a higher concentration of lgbt people in the community. In other jurisdictions, the funding to get a same sex marriage bans passed came heavily from the business community who saw same sex marriage being banned as good for business and good all round. Not all efforts to ban same sex marriage is coming from the religious right but mainly and quietly from big and small business who see the costs all round to be much higher where there is a higher concentration of lgbt people. The issue is more complex than I have stated above but the gist of it all is, lgbt people are bad for business. Some will argue that the buying power of the lgbt community adds to any community but not so as other areas of local business hurt by their presence, the poor and minorities suffer and business leaders see that chasing lgbt people out is good. Some lgbt groups around the country are not blind as to who is throwing the fuel on this fire!!!! In DC, the hate for Kathy Patterson, Phil Mendelson and Adrian Fenty in the minority communities is high because they are seen as having cuddled up too much with the lgbt community, and a defeat at the polls of these three will knock the wind out of the lgbt community enough so to weaken their agenda. Disclaimer: I make an issue of the foregoing only because as a political candidate, and without naming names, I have heard some business leaders in DC expound this virtue. President Bush made homosexuality a part of his agenda and surprisingly, this is not just a Republican thing but many moderate and conservative Democrats are behind him on this issue here in DC.

COUNCILMAN CATANIA HAS LIED TO THE VOTERS! Fact-When David Catania ran for city council the first time, he made a pledge to voters that if we elected him, he would only serve one term, not seek re-election and this was because of his support for term limits. Why is Catania not keeping his word to voters and drop out of the at large race?

I can see that the homosexual community will lie in furtherance of the lie they live instead of speaking the truth. Nobody in Capitol Hill laughed or thought poorly of the effort to ban same sex marriage in DC but thought it would be interesting to see the outcome. It is believed that a referrendum will be had on the 2008 ballot and the fight will bring in people outside of DC on both sides as the outcome in DC could affect other jurisdictions. Many concede that a same sex marriage ban will pass in DC as most people here while gay tolerant are not gay friendly and are not ready to cross the line and accept same sex marriage. Maybe if gays would stop lying and start being honest then they would get greater respect.

I have had in the last four years three lawsuits I filed before the DC Superior Court which were heard by Judge Morin, Judge Long and Judge Jackson all of which I prevailed in. First Sam Brooks said he was the campaign manager for Team Fenty before the very first candidates' forum. At the first candidates' forum, Sam Brooks retracted from that claim and said that he had only worked for Team Fenty for 3 months but did not state what he did. In the WTOP candidates' forum, Sam Brooks goes back to his original lie and said that he worked for Team Fenty for 9 months. The reality is, Sam Brooks never worked on Team Fenty but rather he was asked to do some consulting work which he did in les than seven weeks, whereby he received three checks for the work. On WTOP/Washington Post radio, and in the ward 3 forum debates last night August 4, 2006, Washington Post columnist Elissa Silverman who was also at one time Loose Lips for the Washington City Paper said, "There is no real front runner in the ward 3 city council race, and anyone of the 9 candidates could surprises us and pull it off". I believe all of the ward 3 candidates except Goulet and Rees are out of touch with voters. Taxes, not our schools are the number one issue in ward 3! Why? Only 13% of all ward 3 voters have children in school and only half of the have them in a public school. The other 87% of the voters do not care about our schools but are more concerned about the crippling tax levels and badly seek relief. Only Goulet and Rees have offered in their platforms plans for such relief and that will resonnate with more voters than the school issue is. The school issue is a joke and being promoted by politically correct nutjobs from the left-wing of the DC Democratic Party but Goulet and Rees feel that if you cannot afford your rent or food on your table, then who cares about schools.

Aglue, Do you know how many people live and work in DC but to avoid DC taxes they list themselves out of state? Some say that there could be upwards of 60,000 people pulling that stunt. Also, that adjustment to our population was for a period of 10 years since the challenge covered two period when the census was taken. Fed outlays is based upon how many reported tax payers we have not how many people are physically inside DC. Let us see if we really do get more FED $$$$.

That 31,000 adjustment in population if you read carefully over at the Census Bureau is a 10 year adjustment. Despite the influx of people into DC, most have not registered to vote in DC, half of them still list themselves out of state for tax and insurance purposes and thus the numbers are deceptive. There are about 61,000 people in DC who live here in truth but list their legal place of residence elsewhere to avoid DC Taxes! It is a far cry of 780,000 down to 580,000 in 25 years and the Feds dole out money based upon lawful residents not the total who might physically reside in a state. In other words, the federal outlays may or may not be much if any.

While there is construction going on all over our city, the majority of new jobs that are being created are jobs that pay slightly above the minimum wage... with no benefits. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the District’s population continues to go down, not up as our political leaders had predicted. Our current political leaders continue to maintain a bloated DC Government off the backs of the residents and businesses. Tax hikes (and fees) are never ending. This is why so many businesses and individuals are leaving DC or not wanting to locate here. There's and old saying that high taxes don't redistribute income, they redistribute people. The poor can not afford to leave, the wealthy can afford to stay, and the middle class looks for a better deal elsewhere. We are receiving sub-standard services in the District of Columbia, the capital of the United States. New businesses and old ones will not (re)locate in DC. New jobs with good pay and benefits won't happen until we cut taxes and revamp DC Government. Even if some feel it is going to be painful, the alternative has already proven, and will prove again, far more painful. The past twenty (20) years of increased taxes and the loss of businesses and residents will continue!.

I told both sponsors long before they announced their event that I would not participate. There was no disrespect on my part but an error on their's to represent contrary as because I faxed them a big NO and I kept these faxes to show when I said NO and it was long before they alleged I agreed.

Every day in DC, the some 125 printers throw out thousands of envelopes because they are defective just like Bfrank is. Of course Rees is not going to show up as he campaigns on the note that he does not seek contributions, endorsements or ratings from special interest groups. Your assumption that Rees will be a no show is a no-brainer!

Endorsements and ratings from GLAA and STEIN DEMOCRATS are good if you live in ward 2 and possibly 1. Their endorsements in all other wards would have little on no impact on candidates good or bad.

Please state specifically how Rees harassed your family member for ten years. Please state specifically the name and number of the case you claim Rees filed against your family member in Puerto Rico as Rees is only recorded as having had one case on record. It is easy to accuse people of things but another to prove its truthfulness. There have been polls taken in the ward 3 race by small groups but not by any meaningful organization. These polls have had varying results and none match each other.
