I am not sure what is not convincing about a three day spam fest on a neighborhood listserve with racisit, homophobic rants, multiple aliases with the same IP (using the EXACT same aliases as in 2005 here and other Yahoo groups), and bannings. I feel like it is a parallel universe. These posts cannot be edited or deleted since the instigator had long since been banned. They clearly were not fabircated by any of the posters here. No rule about who a candidate associates with, however that association is a reflection of the candidate, no? According to Mr. Malson, Rees sent an email explaining his absence at last nights meeting as due to illness. Rees and "his surrogates" throughout the winter and as recently as this week, in response to the Ward 3 Democrats meeting, claimed that Rees was not going to attend. It was a premeditated action to NOT attend. Why then send a note to Mr. Malson claiming to be ill? Why not send him a note explaining that he simply does not believe his presence at such meetings will benefit his campaign, as he (and you) have explained here and on other internet forums? In exposing Mr. Malson to that lie, it created the humorous, but incomfortable moment for the President of an Association that Rees has claimed has, or will, endorse his campaign. I think such a lie in concert with the types of people Mr. Rees is associating with in aiding his campaign, speak volumes about Rees the candidate. B. Frank PS...why lock the threads. It is an obvious modus operndi of other Rees aliases, it certainly diminishes any concept you were protraying as not being Rees. Gay Republican, I think you are misinterpreting my intentions. I am not trying to stop anyone, nor am I supportive of any candidate in this race. What I am opposed to is individuals who cast off lie after lie, without any substance behind them, in an attempt to bolster their standing. Tell the truth and everyone will be happy. This person, who is also known as Ramon Stewart and Roy Stewart (see posts by rrjstewart, Roy Stewart and pizzapimp11 on various Yahoo Listserves) often posts concurrently and/or from the identical IP address as Jonathan Rees. Interesting, Mr. Malson was actually very receptive to the email and background information (by virtue of links to Jonathan Rees's own words) that I provided to him. On Cathy Wiss and Eric Gaull, it is the first I am hearing of it. I suspect the research on the candidates will parse out the truth. I will say however, that if someone has a Law Degree, they have earned the right to be referred to as an attorney or Lawyer. Same with a doctor, etc. It is very different than say a political candidate who has a long history of 'pro se' representation. B. Frank

I have seen firsthand the irrational actions Mr. Rees takes towards those who challange his (often erroneous) positions. I have cited several examples, but the evidence is dramatic both on this forum and on several Yahoo listserves. I do not wish to personally subject myself to such dramatic behavior as being accused of being a Nazi, a communist, being subjected to bodily threats or having employers faxed or emailed by Mr. Rees.
