The liberated soul, who came down in a role to this earth along with the Lord to enjoy this world-drama by direct participation invites both happiness and misery simultaneously like sweet and hot dishes in the meals. Anything bores if it is continuous. Entertainment does not bore even if it is continuous. But entertainment through continuous happiness or continuous misery bores. A picture either with continuous scenes of happiness or with continuous scenes of misery bores and the entertainment also bores. Entertainment should be same as a product but the sources of entertainment should change. You cannot entertain yourself with continuous sweet dishes or continuous hot dishes. Such continuous entertainment is called Bliss or Ananda. The word Ananda means continuous happiness (Aa samantat Nandayati Iti). If the happiness is a product, it is continuous. If it is the source it is discontinuous. Therefore, you can be continuously happy, if your happiness is the product of alternating misery and happiness. You are happy, when you get happiness. But you should be happy when you get the misery also. You must enjoy both sweet and hot. You must be happy to praise and abuse, profit and loss, life and death, sincerity and cheating etc. This world is already arranged with these alternating sweet and hot items. If you can enjoy both, you are always happy during your life and after death. This is the state of God and is also the state of a liberated soul, who accompanies the Lord to this world. The king visited the cinema along with his family. All the family members including the king enjoy both the happy scenes and tragic scenes. This is equality of the liberated soul with the God in the cinema hall. When the cinema is over, king is king and servant is servant. The spiritual journey is to transform yourself from ignorant soul to realized soul and finally to become the liberated soul which is called as the complete salvation. You have to be dear and near to God to become a liberated soul. This transformation is possible by His grace only. His grace comes only when you are in true path. You can go in the true path if you get the true knowledge from Him only. This is the divine cycle. The true path is selfless service through words, mind, intelligence and work and fruit of work. Such five-fold service is rendered by you to your body and your family members. An ignorant soul is controlled by ignorance, which is real. A realized soul has neither ignorance nor the grace of God. This middle stage comes because, in this stage, the soul serves the Lord through words, mind and intelligence but not through work and fruit of work. The service is theoretical but not practical. In this stage, the coverage of ignorance (Avaranam) is removed but the practical effect (Vikshepa) is not removed. He realizes the Truth but is unable to practice it. In the final stage God’s grace dawns on him and the ignorance is removed theoretically and practically. The ignorance may exist in this stage also as a helper for the full entertainment. Such ignorance may appear real from the view of liberated soul also, but it will be removed by God whenever the scheduled duration ends. Such real ignorance is imposed by God also on Himself, which goes after the fixed schedule ends.

God (Holy Spirit) and Human Incarnation STATEMENT: - MATHEW 10: 40 Lord Jesus was the human incarnation of the Holy Spirit. The human body of Holy Jesus is like the metallic wire, which was all over, pervaded by the Holy Spirit. Veda says ‘Antarbahischa’ which means that the Holy Spirit pervades all over the body of Human Incarnation. Wherever you touch the wire the electric shock is given. Similarly the entire human body of Holy Jesus is holy. The holiness is the nature of Holy Spirit just like the shock is the property of electricity. As the electricity cannot be separated from the wire, the Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the Holy Jesus. So here the Holy Spirit is the Holy Jesus. Holy Jesus refers this Holy Spirit as His Father. He tells that He was sent by His father as a messenger. Though He and His father are one and the same, He speaks like this for which there is a practical reason i.e., every human being repels with another human being. A man cannot accept another man as God due to Jealousy and Egoism. Bhagavatgita says, “A man will insult Me when I come here in human form (Avajananti mam….)”. For this purpose Holy Jesus wants Himself to be called only as the messenger of the Holy Spirit by the disciples whenever He is introduced to the public. If He tells the truth the egoistic public will not hear even what He preaches and will reject Him. Therefore He is telling His disciples to introduce Him as a messenger only. Ofcourse, the disciples are really the messengers of Holy Jesus. Holy Spirit has taken over the human body of Holy Jesus and pervaded all over the body to preach the divine knowledge to this world. The same Holy Spirit is sending the disciples for the propagation of the Divine knowledge. Both the body of Holy Jesus and the disciples are instruments of the Holy Spirit chosen for different purposes. The Holy Spirit is preaching through the body of Holy Jesus and is propagating the divine knowledge through disciples. Therefore if you respect the disciple you are respecting the Holy Spirit indirectly. Though both the instruments exist like this, the Holy Spirit is present in Jesus and is not present in the disciples. Due to this difference the disciple is an indirect instrument and the direct instrument is Holy Jesus. The disciple propagates the divine knowledge after hearing from the Holy Jesus. Therefore when such disciple is respected, Holy Jesus is respected first and then the Holy Spirit. But among the disciples there may be some person who cannot repeat what Holy Jesus exactly preached. In such a case the Holy Spirit will take over the body of that disciple and preaches (Mathew 10: 20). Such a disciple differs from Holy Jesus because the Holy Spirit resides in that disciple for some time only where as the Holy Spirit resides in Jesus all the time. Holy Jesus is telling that He is the messenger of the Holy Spirit and He is also telling that the disciple is His messenger. He is giving the same status to Himself and the disciple by telling like this. The reason is that some disciple may become jealous in future if He says that He Himself is the Holy Spirit where as the disciple is His messenger only. The difference in the status may bring jealousy. Therefore He is maintaining the equal status so that no devotee becomes jealous of Jesus in the future. Due to jealousy the disciple may slip from Holy Jesus. When He says that He is only the messenger, this shows the humble and submissiveness of Holy Jesus. He wants His disciples to be humble and submissive to the Holy Spirit through out their lives. For this purpose He sets Himself as an ideal. The Holy Spirit present in the human body of Holy Jesus is the essence of true and infinite knowledge as Veda says “Satyam Jnanam Anantam Brahma….” Humbleness and submissiveness are the fruits of the Divine Knowledge. Therefore the humbleness and submissiveness are the qualities of the Holy Spirit itself. This means whatever Holy Jesus speaks is the statement of the Holy Spirit only.

Defects and merits of Christianity , Hinduism, Islam
dattaswami replied to dattaswami's topic in General Spirituality
You have to live in this world according to the instructions of the Lord. Regarding your life in this world, the essence of His instruction is that, you should be ‘deceived’ by others and not deceive others, you should be ‘harmed by others but not harm anyone, you should not insult others, but you can be insulted by others, and you should be abused by others but not abuse others. One cannot attain God by doing penance even for centuries. But there is one easiest way to attain God. When you are deceived by others or when you are harmed by others or when you are insulted by others or when you are abused by others, the Lord comes to your side. It means you have attained God. Therefore, you should thank the people who have deceived, or harmed or insulted or abused you. They have helped you in attaining God by the easiest way. Therefore you should not deceive or harm or insult or scold even such people in return. They might have passed on the punishment to you, for your sins on the will of God. In that case also, they have cleared your sins at an early stage without further interest on the punishment. Even in that way you should thank them. -
The right way to view misery in life
dattaswami replied to dattaswami's topic in General Spirituality
Every spiritual aspirant aims at the bliss to be obtained by himself (Atmaananda). Salvation means liberation from all the worries and misery. Sayujyam or Kaivalyam means reaching the God to attain the bliss because God is Infinite Ocean of bliss. If this is the aim of spirituality, how is it different from materialism? In materialism also every body wants to release from worries and misery and wants to attain permanent happiness, which is called bliss. Therefore, there is no difference between a materialistic aspirant and a spiritual aspirant. The only difference between these two aspirants is that the materialistic aspirant uses the worldly items as instruments to attain the goal and the spiritual aspirant uses God as instrument to attain the same goal. Remember that enjoying bliss is enjoying the fruit you have earned. If you enjoy the bliss in this world, nothing remains for the upper world. In the upper world you cannot do any effort (Karma) and earn the bliss because it is only the world of enjoyment (Bhogaloka) and not the world of any effort (Karma Loka). Therefore, you must think of reducing your desire to enjoy the bliss-fruit obtained from God. Even if you store a part of the fruit for the upper world you have to come back to this earth again to do the spiritual effort. It has lot of risk because when you return back again we don’t know the atmosphere in which you will be placed and so you cannot be sure of this spiritual effort. Then what is to be done? Go on doing the spiritual effort without aspiring for the bliss-fruit. Surrender the fruit to the Lord and you have no aspiration for that fruit. You are entering into the service of Lord as His beloved servant. You must aspire the bliss of the God and not the bliss for yourself. This means you should do such service to the Lord so that it pleases Him. The bliss or pleasure of the Lord should be your goal. If Lord is pleased you are pleased. In the service even if you undergo loss and get troubles and misery, it should be a pleasure for you because the service is going to finally please the Lord. This is the highest path in which your bliss-fruit is infinitely multiplied and is beyond any account. When the finger of Lord Krishna was cut, Draupadi tore her sari and banded the finger. It was a very costly sari and she is sitting in the sacrifice of Rajasuya. If then the sari is torn, she will loose wealth. She knows it and Pandavas lost the kingdom after the sacrifice. She was prepared for all this because her goal was only to please the Lord. When she applied the piece of cloth as a bandage, she never aspired the bliss-fruit for that service. Therefore, that piece was infinitely multiplied into several saris and was given to her by the Lord at a proper time. Similarly, when you sacrifice the bliss-fruit to the Lord, it will be infinitely multiplied and He will give you whenever the right occasion comes according to His discrimination. In this stage the Lord is pleased to see you enjoying the bliss and therefore, you must enjoy the bliss because that pleases the Lord. Sankara prayed the Lord telling "Namokshasyaakaanksha", which means that He has no even trace of desire for the salvation and bliss. He wandered all over the India, debated with several scholars and took lot of strain to do the service of the Lord. He was killed by the black magic in such debates at the end. He did it in the service of the Lord because He felt that if the Lord is pleased by this service that must be His pleasure. He took even the death with pleasure in the service of the Lord. Even Jesus took the death by crucification in the service of the Lord while doing the propagation of the divine Knowledge. He felt even the death as bliss because that pleases the Lord. Hanuman took all pains to participate in the war and once the arrows of Meghanatha horribly wounded him, He took that also as bliss because that pleases the Lord. Radha wept throughout her life when she left Lord Krishna and that was her bliss. Arjuna killed Bhishma by shooting arrows on every inch of the body of Bhishma. You know how much he wept in doing so? Arjuna lost his father in the childhood itself and the grandfather Bhishma nourished him like his father. The love of Bhishma on Arjuna was highest among all the grand sons. The extreme pain in doing so is felt as bliss by Arjuna because that was the wish of the Lord and that pleased the Lord. Therefore, sacrifice to the Lord is highest path and aspiring bliss for yourself and using God as instrument for that is not spirituality at all. You are in the materialistic path only under the mask of spirituality if you aspire bliss for yourself. In all the above examples the service was done only to God in the human form. Sankara propagated the knowledge on the order of His Sadguru Govinda Bhagavatpada who is in human form only. Jesus spread the knowledge based on the instruction of His baptising preacher. Radha and Arjuna served Lord Krishna. Hanuman served Lord Rama. The service is meaningful when the Lord is received through the human body, which is the best object in this creation. You can find the pleasure on the face of the Lord for the service you have rendered. Therefore, sacrifice in service and selection of human incarnation, which is the best object, is the result of the true divine knowledge. In all these examples you can find the knowledge with analysis and logic. Veda says that in the heart God lies in the name ‘Prajna’ who will give bliss to you as the salary for your job. That is a lower state because the bliss belongs to heart, which is the lower level of mind (Manomaya Kosa). But in the brain (Vijnanamaya Kosa) the Lord dwells by the name Eeswara who gives the divine knowledge. Gita starts with Jnana Yoga stating that you should depend on the divine knowledge before you start the spiritual effort. In the entire Gita sacrifice and service to the Lord is explained, which is the proven love. Therefore, the knowledge of Shri Datta Swamiji is blissful knowledge but the word bliss refers to the bliss of the Lord and not to the bliss of the devotee. This knowledge is a scheme in which your bliss-fruit is infinitely multiplied and will be rendered to you whenever the Lord feels it as the right occasion. The blissful knowledge given by other preachers gives you bliss to yourself here itself and that will be finished by your enjoyment here itself and will lead you to the risk. When you identify the human incarnation, you get love and bliss from His divine knowledge. When the identification is over you should leave the aspiration for the bliss and enter the service of the Lord, which is the path of thorns that leads to permanent heaven. The bliss you receive from the human incarnation at the time of identification is just a temporary experience only and you should not aspire for that forever. The service of other preachers will give you bliss immediately as long as you are alive or at the maximum in the upper world also. But it is a path of roses leading to the hell, which is this earth to which you have to return again and fall in the horrible cycle. -
Analysis of misery in life – the way to look at it
dattaswami replied to dattaswami's topic in General Spirituality
The ignorant person invites happiness and wants to avoid misery with the help of God. The priests are exploiting this at a micro level and some of the present spiritual preachers are exploiting the same point at the macro level in a dignified way. A businessman exploits public at a micro level directly. A politician exploits the public at a macro level indirectly under the name of ‘social service’. Of course, there are good people in both categories doing a real social service. Sri Ramakrishna was a good priest and Swami Vivekananda was a good preacher. The realized person invites misery and not happiness. Kunti asked Krishna for getting troubles always, which alone keep the person in devotion to God. Penance is a form of artificially creating misery only. In misery only, one becomes active and sincerely approaches God without egoism. Misery is the guiding force in spiritual journey. God arranges the results of your deeds in your life cycle
dattaswami replied to dattaswami's topic in General Spirituality
Luke—14:26 to 27 “If any one comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple’’. The knowledge is compared to a sword. Bhagavatgita says “Chhitva Jnanasinatmanah”. This means that the ignorance should be cut by the knowledge, which is like a sword. The bonds with wife or husband and children are due to ignorance. Such bonds should break when the Lord in human form competes with them to conduct His test. Lord comes in human form in every human generation to preach and give His direct presence. If the Lord comes in only one human generation, God becomes partial to that human generation because other human generations are not blessed with such opportunity. To see, to touch, to talk and to live with the human incarnation, He comes down as per the prayers of the devotees. The Lord comes to preach and so He will not enter the statues or animals or birds. Veda says “Na tasya pratima asti’’ which means that God will not enter the inert statues. Gita says “Manusheem tanu masritam” which means that God enters the human body only because the main purpose is to preach the human beings. Gita strongly says that he who worships the inert statues will be born as an inert stone (“Bhootani yanti”). The Christians should be commended on this point who are worshipping the Holy Jesus only, who is the most powerful human incarnation of God. Veda says “Na tat samah” which means that nobody and nothing should be equal to the Lord in human incarnation. One should leave everything and everybody for the sake of the Lord in human form. Only the bond with a new human being can break the bond with the human beings. Such new human being must be very powerful who can be only God in human form. A new bond existing with formless God or statues cannot break the human bonds. Only the bond with another living being can cut the bond with the living beings. The bond with formless God is impossible. The bond with inert statue has no use. The above statements of Holy Jesus indicate that one should cut the bonds with his family and with the wealth. In Hindu religion also it is said that God (Datta) cuts all the bonds of family and wealth (“Dattam Chinnam”). Even the bond with the body should be cut for the sake of the God. Gita says the same thing as “Mat Gata Pranah”. Holy Jesus says that one has to carry his own cross (death) for the sake of the Lord. This means that one has to invite his own death with his own hands for the sake of God. Holy Jesus did like this as an ideal example for others. This means that you have to cut your bonds not only with your family and wealth but also with your life if necessary. Hanuman, a top devotee, tore his heart with his own nails for the sake of the Lord and was blessed by the Lord to be immortal. So when the devotee sacrifices his life, his life gets protected forever. The essence of this gospel is that the love is proved only by the practical sacrifice. Veda says “Dhanena Tyage nyke…” which means that sacrifice of money proves the real love. Money is the fruit of the work. So money is another form of work. If it is inconvenient to sacrifice the money, atleast they should sacrifice the other form of money, which is work for the sake of God. Depending on the money all the family members are attached to you. If money is not there all the family will leave you. You are also giving the money to your family only. Therefore if the bond with money is cut and if the money is sacrificed to God, the family bonds are considered as vanished, even though the family exists externally. The work of God in human form is the propagation of His divine gospel. For doing such divine work the family also stands as an obstacle because most of your energy is diverted for the family only. Therefore you do not have any energy to work for the sake of Lord. Hence Holy Jesus wants His disciples to leave their families for the sake of God. The propagation work needs both money and work. Generally every body works to maintain his family. In the name of maintenance, several luxuries are introduced, which look like essential needs and thus there is no end for your work to earn the money for the sake of your body and your family. Your blindness increases and you will be putting more and more efforts to work and earn money for the sake of the family bonds. In such a case you can never even see the human form of God. At least you should remove your blindness by the divine knowledge if not the actual bonds. People of very high devotion only can cut the actual bonds. You are giving money to your family but you are giving words to God by prayers and you are giving mind to God through meditation. You are giving love to your family through your work and money, you are calling the sacrifice of words and sacrifice of mind as love to God and you are fooling the God. Your real love is only with your family and not with the God. Holy Jesus tests your real love to God by these statements. The Christian Pope and fathers and the Hindu Acharya and saints left their families and concentrated completely on the work of God. Such pious souls can only be representatives of God in this world. -
God's Management of deeds of a soul
dattaswami replied to dattaswami's topic in General Spirituality
Jesus told that the more you keep yourself down, the more you will be raised by God. My dear devotees! Realize that submissiveness (Vinaya) is the divine fruit of the divine knowledge (Vidya Dadati Vinayam). The egoism and jealousy are the harming insects for the knowledge-plant. Jesus told that the more you keep yourself down, the more you will be raised by God. But My friends! Do not down yourself expecting the corresponding raise!! God is omniscient and knows your hidden expectation. You should keep yourself always in the lowest possible state with all sincerity. Lord Datta who is the king of all the spiritual preachers appeared as the most ignorant cobbler before Shankara and submissiveness is the real sign of Lord Datta who is the solidified divine form of divine spiritual knowledge (Prajnanaghanah…Veda). At the Lotus Feet of His Holiness Sri Dattaswami Anil Antony www.universal-spirituality.org Universal Spirituality for World Peace antonyanil@universal-spirituality.org -
One devotee asked about the significance of cross in Christianity. Some scholars have interpreted it to the striking of I, which represents the egoism. It is a good interpretation but it does not speak about the significance of Jesus present on the cross in the process of crucification. Therefore, if you consider both the cross and Jesus on it, there is more important significance, which represents the death of Jesus. In the death the soul leaves this external human body. It indicates that one day or other you have to leave your body and everything and everybody associated with the body. Therefore, the concept of death is the most sacred spiritual preacher, which preaches about the non-eternal bonds with your relations and related things in this world. Thus, death is the most pious concept and one should not fear for it. You should not fear for your spiritual preacher who is the most sacred and pious. You must give your utmost attention to this most pious spiritual preacher, the concept of death. When Nachiketa asked his father about the donation of himself, his father told that he would be donated to the God of death called Yama. Infact, Nachiketa received the best spiritual knowledge from Yama as you find in Veda. Everybody knows that death is inevitable. But such is only knowledge. By Knowledge one just knows. This is not sufficient unless the knowledge is often memorised, which leads to realization. Thus, knowledge, memorization and realization are the three steps after which only practice comes as said in Veda (Srotavyo….). Due to the absence of the other two steps, in practice the human being is behaving as if these worldly bonds are eternal. Unless these bonds are cut, liberation or salvation is impossible. Without liberation attainment of God is subsequently not possible. When you are bound to certain things, how can you achieve other things? The attachment to the Lord is unable to give the salvation from these bonds because the attachment to the Lord is not strong. Unless you realise the nature of these bonds, you cannot get salvation from these bonds. The nature of these bonds is best exposed by the concept of death. Thus, when you are constantly looking at the cross with Jesus on it in the process of crucification, then you realise the nature of these bonds continuously. Such continuous realization leads to continuous practice. Practise alone can give the result. Thus, the cross with Jesus in the phase of death is having the greatest spiritual significance in giving you the liberation. Unless you derive the concept from the statue of Jesus on cross, such statue becomes useless, if it is conceived only in the sense of the death of Jesus. Jesus himself advises the people not to weep on His death, but they should weep about themselves. This means that the physical sense of crucification should not be taken. If you take the internal significance; it will be useful for your spiritual development. Thus, when you are worshiping the idols, the concepts for which the idols stand should be realised. The constant attention on the idol is also necessary so that the concept is memorised again and again. It is for this purpose, the idol worship is introduced. Therefore, one should not mock at the idol worship. Christians wear cross with Jesus on it in the chain around the neck. The church also shows the same. Such photos are in the houses. All this is the idol worship. I do not know why they criticize the idol worship and follow the same in practice. The Christian scriptures criticize the idol worship. The point in such criticism is that mere worship of idols without realizing the concepts for which those idols were created is useless. From this angle idol worship is to be criticized. Thus, you have both positive and negative angles for any point based on the context. Thus, we know the concept of death but we have not realized it. Therefore, we do not remember the concept. Our continuous impression is only about the life, which we are constantly experiencing. Hence, our feeling was that we lived in the past, we are living in the present and we will live forever in the future. Due to this we feel that these bonds are eternal and that this world is also eternal. It is said that spiritual knowledge is to be obtained from Lord Siva (Jnanam Mahesvarat..). Lord Siva is famous for destroying the world. Thus, when we remember Siva, we must remember that this world is not eternal. Siva lives in burial ground. This again signifies that any individual has to meet the death. Therefore, Siva preaches you that both this world and your body are not eternal. Yama, the deity of death preached spiritual knowledge to Nachiketa, which means that the concept of death gives you real spiritual knowledge. The brother of Yama, Sani (Saturn) is the source of all problems and troubles. Astrology says that the planet Sani is the source of spiritual knowledge (Jnana karaka..). Again this means that troubles only make you active by which you will think about God. Thus, Sani and Yama, the brothers, are the source of problems and death give you spiritual knowledge. The pleasures will make you inactive, egoistic and inert. Kunti asked Krishna for constant troubles only. The very word Siva means auspicious or most pious. This again means that his work of the destruction of world and his burial ground indicate the temporary existence of world and body. Such realization is most sacred. Therefore, the very meaning of the word Siva is that is most sacred spiritual preacher. Yama and Sani are said to be born to the Sun. Sun represents intelligence and light of knowledge, which removes the dark ignorance. This again indicates that the concepts of problems and death are the products of the real intellectual spiritual knowledge.

Why human incarnation generally hesitant to perform miracles?
dattaswami replied to dattaswami's topic in Christianity
Miracle indicates the existence of unimaginability. The unimaginability is God and its existence indicates the existence of God. The unimaginable power is the source of miracle. The source of that power is God. That power may or may not give the address of the God in a person who exhibits the miracle. But the miracle gives the existence of that power in that person. The power gives the indirect existence of God elsewhere. Therefore miracle is an indirect proof of existence of God but not the direct proof of the address of God. The black magic is also power of God, which is given to Satan. The Satan and his followers are sufficient for atheists to prove the existence of super power and thereby existence of God indirectly. Let the atheist cross the miracle of a demon first. The theist should be above the level of these miracles and should try to achieve the Divine grace of God through spiritual knowledge, devotion and selfless service through sacrifice in the Divine mission of the Lord. If a Post Graduate student forgets the alphabets, what to do? Similar is the case of the theist who wants the miracle as a proof. The theist requires the correct guidance by correct spiritual knowledge at that standard. Therefore the divine knowledge alone can be the proof of the God as per Veda. -
Saving from the troubles and misery is the general sense of the word saving. In spiritual sense saving means cutting all the worldly bonds and establishing real bond with God, Who alone is the truth. God is truth. This means that God is infinite power. The creation is just His imagination and is almost not true. The imagining person is said to truly exist. The world, which is just His imagination and which is completely not nothing. The world is made of an iota of energy of God. God is like the infinite ocean of energy. Compared to God the world is almost nothing. Thus this entire creation is under the full control of God. Just like the person doing some imagination creates an imaginary world in him, God created this imaginary world in Him. The imagining person can fully control the world. He can transform any item into any other item. He can raise a dead body in His imaginary world. All the miracles of human incarnations can be explained only by this concept. God who is present in the human incarnation does all these miracles only to establish this concept. If the world is equally true, then the world is equally powerful to God. In such case God cannot do whatever He likes. Since the world is least powerful and God is most powerful, God controls the entire world like a very strong person controlling very weak person. Thus the word truth indicates the omnipotent nature of God. When we say that this world is not true, it indicates the negligible power of the world. Suppose a small ant is on your shirt, will you say that yourself and the ant are present in the house? The ant is negligible and is treated as nothing. Therefore, a person who knows this concept surrenders to God and accepts Him as the saviour. In his eyes the entire world looks like an ant before God. You are a tiny particle in this ant-world. You can understand your position by putting a relative scale. Assume that this ant is Infinite Ocean of energy. You are an iota of that ocean. This means your power is negligible before the power of this entire nature. The world is like the ocean and you are like a drop in it. God is like the ocean and the world a drop in God. You must understand this simile not in terms of volume but in terms of the intensity of the power. When we utter the word God, we immediately imagine Him as a very large figure with unlimited boundaries. The space is largest but as no power as it is treated has nothing. The atom bomb is very small but it has enormous power. Therefore, our idea about God should not be in terms of the three-dimensional space. When a person imagines a large city, the city is very huge but the person is very small. But that small person has created, maintains and finally dissolves this huge city. He can do anything in this huge city. Infact He is standing outside this huge city. When He wants to enter into this huge imaginary city, He will imagine a small form and He identifies Himself with that form. That small form represents the outside person. This imagined form, which is identified by the outside person, is treated as the outside person directly. This imagined small form is the human incarnation. The outside person is God. The imaginary huge city is this world. Thus God identifies Himself with the human incarnation. From this angle the human incarnation and the God are one and the same. There is another angle in which the human incarnation is not the original God but a part and parcel of God. In this angle God and the human incarnation are treated as father and son. You can experience the Father only through this Son. In the third angle the human incarnation is just sent by God into this world as a messenger with some power. Jesus talked this truth in all the three angles. Jesus can save any human being who has any one of these three angles. Acceptance of Jesus as your saviour is the essential step in the spiritual effort. Here Jesus means the human incarnation in general. Only God is the saviour. But you cannot approach God directly. Only through the human incarnation you can approach God. This means you should accept the human incarnation as that very God. In such case only the human incarnation becomes your saviour. God is like free electrons flowing in the atmosphere. These Electrons are the electricity. Then can you heat water by keeping the vessel containing water in the atmosphere? When these Electrons enter a medium like the metallic wire, you can heat water. If the medium is human form it is most convenient for you to clear your doubts, to love and to serve Him. Therefore, acceptance of Jesus as your Saviour means that you should accept the human incarnation as your saviour. It is told that Jesus will come again. This means that the human incarnation is coming in every human generation. Otherwise, if one generation was only blessed by such fortune, the other generations will charge God as partial and such charge is justified. Therefore, if you think that Jesus means only that particular human incarnation, which came about 2000 years back, you have lost the whole concept. Through a particular example generalization must be made. If you say that sodium atom is indivisible it means the atom of any element is indivisible. If you say that Daniel is born, it means that every human being will be born. If this basic analysis is lost, the entire spiritual castle falls down due to the absence of its foundation.

Jesus preached wonderful knowledge. The ordinary fishermen were convinced and followed Him as the Lord. The priests of church were great saints who were unmarried and left every thing for the sake of God. Those priests were certainly higher then ordinary people. The ordinary people followed Jesus because they were convinced in their minds, intelligence and consciousness. They clarified their doubts with Jesus directly and were convinced. This is called as Atma Pramanam. These ordinary people did not look for the voting of the priests to Jesus. In fact, the priests opposed Jesus and crucified Him. In spite, of that the ordinary people followed Jesus since they were convinced. A priest has left every thing for the sake of God. No doubt they are greater people since they have greater urge. The greater urge itself cannot qualify any person. A student may have a greater urge for the answer but he might have not understood the answer given by the teacher. Another student might have not so much urge but has understood the answer. Between these two students who is greater? Janaka was a king and did not leave the kingdom. Suka was a saint and left every thing with extreme urge for God. Janaka was appointed as examiner of Suka by sage Vyasa. Who is greater between these two? Though Janaka was a house holder and did not leave anything, he is the student with answer. Suka is a saint who left every thing and got answer from Janaka only. Quest is appreciable but cannot be the qualification. Capacity to understand the answer lies with the internal mental development (Samskara). The external orange robe, the quest for God, leaving every thing and roaming every where, attaining a post of Pithadhipati, studying scriptures by tradition etc., are certainly appreciable but are not the qualifications of greatness. A student may be in the uniform dress. He may have lot of urge to get the knowledge. He might have left his house and roamed from school to school. He might have become a teacher of a school. He might have studied the course according to discipline. He might have memorized and got through the examination and He might have thus got the degree and became the teacher. But still his doubts in the subject were not answered. Einstein and Ramanujam did not get a pass and could not get the degree. But they have perfectly understood the subject. Therefore, attainment lies in their internal samskaras and attaining the real preacher. Both the samskaras and Guru (Preacher) are important for the attainment and not the other points. Both the pearl shell and the rain drop are essential for the formation of a pearl. Except these two, all the other factors are ephemeral only. You should judge anything by your self and in association with others through discussions and debates. In coming to the conclusion you can take the help of the discussions with others. But you should use your own intelligence and consciousness in final conclusion. In this way the participation of others is helpful. But to see whether some body lifted his hand or not for voting is a point is foolishness. You can discuss with him about the point. You should lift your hand based on your final conclusion. Even a cleaver person may go wrong in that particular point. Your vote should not depend on his vote.

God Experience God should be understood as the unimaginable creator. Next, God can be understood as the unimaginable spectator of the world. Lastly, God should be understood as the unimaginable actor who has entered the Universal Drama in the form of the human incarnation. In the first state, God is called as Brahman. The same God is called as Parabrahman before that first stage. In the second stage God is called as Ishwara. In the third stage God is called as Avatara Purusha or Sadguru. One can go up to the first stage only and no intelligence can go beyond that first stage. This means Parabrahman can never be understood. The climax way to understand the Parabrahman is to grasp Him as Brahman. If you analyse carefully, Brahman is also an incarnation. The Parabrahman is embedded in the pure awareness. The pure awareness is the medium, which can be understood by sharp intelligence. Therefore, one can understand God only through a medium. The finest and the subtlest medium is pure awareness. Scholars like Shankara like God in such a rich medium. Some people like a person in a costly silk dress. Others can understand God in the form of Ishwara. Ramanuja and Madhva have stopped at the level of Ishwara, who is God in a terricot shirt which is a mixture of silk and cotton. Brahman is the unqualified pure awareness, which is called as Nirguna. Ishwara is the qualified pure awareness, which is called as Saguna. Therefore, Shankara preached about God to scholars. Ramanuja and Madhva preached God to ordinary people. There are some people who are ignorant and cannot grasp even the form of Ishwara. For this third category, God-in-Flesh is the easiest way, who is God in a cotton shirt. The Brahman is the electrified raw gold. Ishwara is the electrified golden chain [gold with a form; qualified]. The human incarnation is the electrified iron chain. Gold is costly and iron is cheap. The awareness is subtle and can be grasped only by scholars. The human body is very easy and can be grasped directly by the eyes. But in all these media, the electricity is one and the same. When you touch any of these three media the electric shock is one and the same. Thus, the experience of God can be obtained from Brahman in transcendental meditation (Samadhi). The same experience of God can be obtained when Ishwara appears in energetic form when pleased by severe penance (Sakshatkara). The same experience of God is also obtained by seeing a human incarnation like Lord Krishna (Darshanam). The experience of God is one and the same. The medium and the approach differ. The first two methods are very difficult. The last method is very easy. The goal and the benefit are one and the same. Among these three, who is wise? The last person is the wisest who obtained the same goal through the easiest path. The experience of God is obtained only through a medium. The medium alone indicates God. When you want to drink hot tea, you are shown a cup. You are told, “Have that cup”. Here the word cup means the tea and not the cup without the tea. When you touch the cup you are experiencing the heat of the tea through the cup. If the tea is absent, the cup is cool. Thus, you can differentiate between a cup with tea and an empty cup. Thus by experience you can differentiate Lord Krishna from any other ordinary human being. The very presence of the human incarnation electrifies you with divine experience even without the preaching from the human incarnation. But sometimes mere experience may mislead you. Experience belongs to the faculty of the mind. Sometimes there may be false experience due to a defective mind. You may feel the divinity through a miracle. Both God and Satan do miracles. Most people decide the divinity through the experience obtained from miracles. Therefore, the faculty of intelligence should be opened to decide your experience. You must hear His knowledge. You must analyse His discourse. Knowledge is the inseparable ornament of God although knowledge is only a characteristic of a medium (awareness). God has given us the facility to identify Him through that inseparable characteristic. Love, bliss and miracles should associate with such knowledge. Without knowledge, the decision should not be taken based on the other three characteristics. The other three are always associated with the knowledge but they also exist independently even without the knowledge.

Why no present human incarnation coming in western religions A devotee asked that Swami came as Human Incarnation in Hinduism. Why not similarly the Human incarnation appear in other western religions also? ----------------------------------------- The answer for this question is very crucial and has to be digested by different people in different angles. First of all whether I am the Human Incarnation or not? I cannot say because I should not say it. Whether I am Human Incarnation or not, let us assume that I am a human incarnation from the angle of My sincere devotee. Whether My sincere devotee is right or wrong cannot be decided by any other person who is also a human being like My devotee. I cannot be a standard to My devotee, which others cannot accept. Therefore My answer to this question is completely limited to My sincere devotee only, because others cannot accept Me as the human incarnation. Therefore My answer given to My sincere devotee only shall be the following: The fundamental point in your question is that Bhuddism is silent about God Himself and so the topic of human incarnation cannot arise. The Islam, also does not believe in the Human Incarnation and treats even Mohammad as a messenger of God only. Since Islam says that He is the last messenger there is no place for another messenger. Holy Christianity accepts the concept of Human Incarnation as God in flesh. But it limits only to Jesus and there is no place for second human incarnation. Of course they accept the second coming of Jesus. But they say that the second coming is only in the stage of final destruction of world only. Since now the world exists and is not facing the final destruction I cannot fit My self in the place of second Jesus. But in Hinduism Gita says “Yada Yada Hi” which means that God will come in Human Form whenever it is necessary. Therefore I can have place only in Hinduism. Of course, such provision in Hinduism can be exploited by human beings who are not the real incarnations. But, for the fear of exploitation the entire system cannot be rejected. For the fear of copying the system of examinations cannot be abolished. For the fear of accident the train journey cannot be avoided. Therefore every system contains the possibility of both genuine and fraud cases. We have to carefully analyse and eliminate the fraud cases. Because of the fear of the rats the house cannot be burnt. Even if I want to come in other religions their doors are closed. Therefore the only possibility is to come in Hinduism and establish the Universality of God. When the Universality of God in all the human incarnations of all religions is established, then it means that I have come in Human form in all the religions simultaneously. Except this one way there is no other way. I have no objection, to come in Human form in other religions also separately, provided you get the doors of the other religions opened for My entry. Mr Anil Antony told that this question and the answer are the cream of light of the day. Every body in the satsang including Mr Antony told that ‘No one other than the Lord can answer this question in such wonderful way! Mr Antony told that his trip to meet Swami has become very fruitful. Swami told that even a trip to Kashmir cannot give such eternal bliss. _________________ ANIL ANTONY antonyanil@universal-spirituality.org http://www.universal-spirituality.org Universal Spirituality for World Peace

Why good people are suffering? Some people say that even good people are unnecessarily harmed. They criticize God. You cannot decide any person as a good person. Did you observe him every minute from his birth? You also think yourself as a good person. Are you aware of your sins done in your childhood? You might have harmed an innocent insect in your childhood. Do you remember that? Even mental feelings are sins, which may not be expressed in words and actions. The feelings of the mind are the source of words and actions. Therefore the feeling may not hurt others today. But tomorrow it will hurt others which will come out in words and actions. In fact, intention is given more importance in the crime according to law. The judge gives more importance to the intention in giving the punishment. You are walking on the road and the ant is killed by your foot, without any intention. There is no punishment for such sins. But when you kill the same ant with intention, you are punished by God. Therefore mind is the source of action. If somebody harmed really a good person, then also leave it to God. You should not revenge. Why? The reason is that you cannot judge the exact nature and line of the case. You do not remember your own sins. Some times you do the sin thinking that it is good. You cannot be the standard in judging your own sins. Only the Lord can decide. Therefore, if somebody harmed really a good person, in the view of the Lord also, then the Lord himself will punish him. You cannot take the law and order in to your hand. You have to refer the case to the court. Let the Judge decide, and punish the criminal. Therefore the Lord said, “Revenge is Mine”. If the revenge is justified, the Lord will certainly punish. The Lord will not revenge if you pray Him to do so. The Lord, will not excuse even if you recommend the unjust case. Neither you have the power to punish nor to excuse anybody. The reason for this is that you are not omniscient. If a sinner realizes the sin and repents, the punishment is reduced. After repentance if you do not repeat the sins, the punishment is cancelled. If the sinner does not repent, he will repeat the sin again and again. Such sinner can be controlled only by punishment. If this is not true the police department has no use. There are some sinners who can be controlled only by third degree treatment. If such punishment and revenge are not required, and if everybody can be transformed by preaching, then what is the necessity of the existence of’ Hell and Liquid Fire’. If such possibility of transformation by love and knowledge is there, then why the Lord mentioned the word ‘revenge’ at all? Therefore this means that there are some sinners who cannot be transformed by love and knowledge. Some clever people criticize Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, who have resorted to punish the sinners. Such clever people should answer about the word ‘revenge’ uttered by the Lord and also should explain the mention of the liquid fire in the scriptures. If all the human beings can be transformed through love and knowledge such words should not have been mentioned in their scriptures. _________________ ANIL ANTONY antonyanil@universal-spirituality.org http://www.universal-spirituality.org Universal Spirituality for World Peace

Why human incarnation generally hesitant to perform miracles? It is very difficult to accept the human incarnation while alive. Only very few blessed souls who are already liberated and accompanied the Lord to help Him in His mission can recognize and serve the living human form of God. The repulsion to accept a co-human being even as a greater person is very difficult. Then you can never imagine any human being to accept another human being as greatest God. The human form of God is just similar to any human being. If any specialty is exhibited, people fear and run away. To become close to the human beings, no specialty should be exhibited. If the closeness is achieved, the recognition is lost. To get recognition if some super natural aspect is exhibited, the closeness is lost. Between closeness and recognition, which is better to be retained at the cost of the other? The recognition destroys the freedom to discuss with the Lord and clarify the doubts. When Krishna was looking as an ordinary human being, Arjuna bombarded Him with all questions and clarified His doubts. However, when Krishna was in the state of cosmic form (Viswarupam), Arjuna shivered with fear and no question could come out. The brain was blocked with shock and even the doubts did not arise. When the doubts remain un-cleared, the ignorance continues. Therefore closeness is better than recognition. The husband hears the advices from the wife in close association. Therefore through closeness, even if the identification is not there, the soul can be guided into the right path through convincing the soul by preaching. Instead of convincing the soul by exhibiting the super power, which induces the conviction though fear, it is better to induce the conviction through the super talent exhibited in preaching. Even if you think of the human incarnation as a preacher (Guru), there is nothing wrong. If you do not recognize Him as God, His crown has not fallen on the ground. I will just give an example. One woman was a very close devotee. She even used to argue and fight with Me on the points of the spiritual knowledge. One day, she quarreled with Me for not showing any divine vision. The Lord in Me gave a shocking vision of God Dattatreya. She became unconscious for one hour and even got a mild heart attack. From that day onwards, whenever she comes to Me, she is always with terrible fear. She simply accepts whatever I preach. The recognition has come but the closeness is lost. Therefore Jesus said, “Those who believed Me without proof are really blessed”. This means that the devotees who recognized the Lord through the knowledge always have close freedom and clarify all their doubts and hence they are blessed. They gain the complete devotion. If the proof is shown, the closeness is lost and the gap appears. The doubts are not cleared due to fear. Neither the devotee nor the God enjoys the close association. The realization will never come because the ignorance remains due to un-cleared doubts. Therefore the theoretical recognition arrived through the knowledge is always the best. The practical proof develops not only fear but also the attitude to fulfill the desires and solve the problems using the divine power. The attention is diverted from the path of realization. The real bond of love can never be formed. If the power is recognized, the whole situation is diverted. The mentality is always towards tapping the powers towards personal solutions. The commercial bond grows. The friendship becomes more and more intensive if the qualities of the human form of God become more and more similar. I heard some people telling that Sri Satya Sai was printing notes and smuggling the foreign goods! I told them that this allegation is false in the case of Sri Satya Sai, but I told them that in future God has to come in human form with such talents also so that the smugglers approach Him closely and slowly get salvation. The human incarnation exhibits both good and bad qualities
dattaswami posted a topic in Baha'i Faith
The human incarnation exhibits both good and bad qualities Lord Datta is having one face only, because Datta means God given to the souls through the same medium in which the souls also exist. When the souls exist in human bodies, He is coming in the same human body. The angels exist in the energetic bodies. The souls after leaving the human bodies also have the same energetic bodies. Therefore God is given to these souls in the upper worlds through the energetic bodies like Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva etc. There are two forms of Datta. One is having a single face and the other is having three faces. The three faces indicate the important concept. No human form is having three faces. It means only that the human form of God exhibits the three qualities. Sattvam is good quality. Rajas and Tamas are bad qualities. This means that the human incarnation exhibits both good and bad qualities. It is required for the human incarnation to become close with human beings because every human being is a mixture of the three qualities. Shastras say that a single quality of these three can never exists independently. This means that there is no human being who is absolutely good or absolutely bad. Gita says that the human being becomes good in one moment when Sattvam predominates and the same human being becomes bad in another moment when Rajas and Tamas predominate. Therefore the human form of God should also exhibit these three qualities in order to come close to the human beings to uplift them from the mud pond. When the person jumps into the mud pond to uplift a person who is drowning in it, the person who jumped is also contaminated by the mud. Not only the same human body, but also the same qualities are necessary to become very close to the souls. Therefore the God has to change the qualities also every time. Every time a specified mood is exhibited by the human being in which the three qualities are mixed in a specified ratio. From birth to death, the human being passes through thirty-three crores of moods. Therefore God is also covered by different proportions of qualities. Each mood is a divine form or deity. Thus for the same God, thirty-three crore divine forms (deities) exist so that every human being can be close to God in every moment. The same God having three faces is divided into three forms. One form called as Brahma has the predomination of Rajas. Another form called as Vishnu has the predomination of Sattvam. Another form is Shiva predominated with Tamas. In each form, the other two qualities are hidden. Such division is again for the sake of human beings only. Some people have the predomination of one quality but they have the other two qualities also in hidden state. God wants to be a reflection of the human being and thus covers Himself with a similar quality. The Lord criticised both science and arts related to worldly aspects The Lord criticised both science and arts related to worldly aspects (Vedavadaratah, Trigunya Vishayah—Gita). The Lord says that both are waste since you are not touching anything about the Lord (Namyadastiti—Gita). Such people are attracted to the worldly selfish pleasures only and not to please the Lord. The dynamism observed in such people is also not appreciated by the Lord because both walking and running in the wrong direction are useless (Kriya Visesha Bahulam—Gita). The Lord is giving stress on the devotees to cross the difference between good and bad faced in the world. You should be showing the same love and kindness to both good and bad people and also love friends and enemies in the same way. If you praise a good person and a friend and scold a bad person and enemy, you have failed in the Yoga. Tomorrow when you reach the Lord in the human form, He will appear bad and damage you like any. Then you will scold the Lord also. For example the devotees of Vishnu criticise Lord Siva, since Lord Siva appears with the qualities of Tamas. This is very important essence of Gita that one will succeed in the tests of the Lord in human form only if he raises himself above the three qualities (Satvam, Rajas and Tamas). Therefore you should not be disturbed by the negative qualities or positive qualities in the world like insult and honour, enmity and friendship, loss and benefit, misery and happiness etc (Gunanetanatetyatrin—Gita). Only such devotee can succeed the tests of the Lord and can please the Lord. This yukta state, which is the final stage of the Yoga, is called as the real sanyasa. Here the word sanyasa does not mean the external indications like saffron cloth, leaving the house etc (Naniragnih—Gita). The sanyasin is that person who has completely sacrificed everything and everyone for the sake of the service to the Lord. Such sanyasin or yukta alone can be fully blessed by the Lord and enters the innermost circle of the Lord (Brahmabhuyaya—Gita). The essence of Gita The essence of Gita should be understood on this day, which is the real celebration of His birthday. The birthday was for His body or the medium into which God entered. God has no birth. When He is in the human body, He becomes one with it and thus the devotees who desire to see Him can see Him. They can touch Him, they can talk with Him, and they can live with Him. These four are called as the rare fortunes (Bhagya Chatustaya). When God and the medium become one, God has birth from the point of the medium and has no birth from the point of God. The monoism or Advaita is only in the case of the human incarnation and not in the case of human being. There is no context of Advaita in human being because there is only one item which is the medium. In the human incarnation, there are two items (God and medium) and therefore the concept of Advaita arises. Advaita means not two. When there is only one item, where is the context of not two? When it is simply a wire, it is called as a wire. When the current flows in it, the debate comes whether such wire can be treated as current or current and wire separately. In this context only we can say that the wire and current are one and the same since they cannot be isolated. This cannot be extended to the non-electric wire. Even an atheist can take Atma Yoga from Gita and be peaceful and happy in His life (Pravrutti). This is common to both atheist and theist. Unless you are settled in your life, you cannot serve your parents. Therefore Sankara came initially and stressed on this universal concept. Ramanuja and Madhva came and stressed on the Paramatma Yoga which is the service to be done to the parents as your duty. There is no need of aspiring any fruit in return for your service and sacrifice to the parents because your body, knowledge etc. are only from the parents. Similarly, you should not aspire anything in return from God for your sacrifice and service to Him. The business can be done with your colleague souls. The angels are also souls in the energetic bodies. Therefore the business was indicated in Gita between the human beings and angels. But position of God is not the position of soul even though He is appearing as a soul in the human incarnation. The parents and human beings appear in the same form but you can do business with the outsiders and not with the parents. This is the essence of Gita. Spiritual Business Vs Spiritual Education Generally the human beings do spiritual business with God and are not for the spiritual education. A school is a centre of education and a shop is a centre of business. There are many shops but few schools. Majority is for business and minority is for education. You are sacrificing the work and wealth to achieve the fruit in the spiritual business. The fruit you receive from the business is not permanent because you have to go to the shop again and again to purchase the commodity. In the education also, service to the preacher (susrusha) and sacrifice of wealth (Guru Dakshina) is done as in the case of business but the fruit is permanent. Once you have acquired the knowledge and come out, the knowledge stays with you permanently. You need not go to the school again and again as in the case of the shop. The business is referred in Gita (Parasparam Bhavayantah). The education is also mentioned (Tat Viddhi Pranipatena). The preachers should become the centers of spiritual education. They should not become the centers of spiritual business like priests and astrologers. God will feel happy if the souls are happy even if human incarnation is not recognised Even if the human incarnation is not recognized and not served, God will feel happy if the souls are happy. The father feels happy if the children are settled and peaceful living with happiness, even if they are not recognizing and serving Him when He comes to their house. Therefore God will not mistake you if you do not recognize and serve Him when He comes to your world in human form. He will feel happy if you are living with happiness. Therefore, He thinks about the ways by which you will be settled and live with happiness. He will not mention about the duty to serve Him when you are disturbed in this world. Arjuna was very much disturbed and therefore the Lord started with self-attainment (Atma Yoga) only, which is the way to attain happiness and peace. He did not start with the sacrifice or service to God (Paramatma Yoga). When the child is disturbed, it needs the help from the parents in the form of sacrifice of work or sacrifice of wealth. Initially the parents help the child by doing both these but this cannot be continuous. As the child grows, he or she has to stand on own legs and settle in life. After such settled life only, the parents expect the child to serve them. Similarly the soul has to attain peace and happiness standing on its own legs and this is the second chapter of Gita in which the self-sufficiency is to be achieved without any dependence. In Atma Yoga, the Lord in the second chapter of Gita taught about the self-realization which is the attainment of peace and happiness with the self-effort. When the life is settled, the issues are expected to serve the parents by sacrificing work (Karma Sanyasa) and by sacrificing fruit of work (Karma Phala Tyaga). The parents are not in need of any wealth. Still they are the owners of the property. They are only happy if your love towards them is proved through the above-mentioned practical sacrifice. Similarly the Lord is not in need of your service. The Lord desires to taste your love and feels happy through such sacrifice. In fact you are earning only due to the sacrifice of parents. Similarly all your wealth belongs to the Lord only. But the dualism is maintained because the taste of love exists only in the ignorance that is dualism. You have earned some money. The flesh of your body that is working is from your mother. The talent by which you are earning is from the wealth of your father. If you realize this and serve the parents, there is no real taste of love. Similarly the parents also realize that truth, there is no taste of love to them also. They can enjoy the love of their children only when they think that the children are sacrificing their hard-earned money in the parent’s service. Similarly, if the parents think that the earnings of the children are only due to their help, they cannot enjoy the real love. Therefore, the real love is enjoyed only in the ignorance (Avidya). But if the children became ungrateful, then the parents have to educate them with the truth (Vidya). The Lord says in Gita that both Vidya and Avidya are created by Him only which are meaningful in their own contexts (Mattah Smrutir…..). Thus the Lord preaches the Atma Yoga in the beginning which is the attainment of peace and happiness by self-realization and then only proceeded with Paramatma Yoga which is the field of service and sacrifice to the Lord after settlement. If Gita stops with the second chapter, the story ends with Atma Yoga only which is the settlement of life of the children. If the story stops there, it would be Gita preached to the ungrateful ghosts and demons. Therefore, the other sixteen chapters of Gita concentrated on Paramatma-Yoga which is the sacrifice and service to the God when He comes to this world of human beings in human form. But if you see the stories of human incarnation which is the same as that of the parents visiting the houses of their well settled children, the behaviour of the children proves worse than the nature of even the wild animals. Jesus was crucified! Krishna was shot dead! Sankara was killed by black magic! The human incarnation is a replica of the divine Father and Secret behind Miracles The human incarnation is a replica of the divine Father. God is the divine Father and controls the creation (Mother). The creation is represented by female and God as male based on the ancient Indian tradition in which the female is always under the control of male. Manusmruti says that the female is controlled by the father in the childhood, by the husband in youth and by the son in the old age. Brahma, who created, controls the creation like father. Vishnu, who maintains, controls the creation like husband. When the creation comes to the end (Old age), Shiva controls the creation like son. But what about the son who is a replica of God i.e. the human incarnation? The son having the aspect of God is also the controller of the mother. But the son also has the other aspect of the human body that is delivered by the mother. Therefore he respects the mother always and when a rare occasion comes, he shows his male character and controls the mother. But such occasion is very rare and therefore the mother will not mistake her son. The same God having the male character controls the creation representing the female character always as the father, as the husband and as a son. Therefore the human incarnation always behaves as an obedient son of the mother only following all the rules of nature. Krishna never showed any super power throughout the eighteen days of the war. He was following the rules of Prakruti (Mother) like an obedient son only. When a rare and inevitable occasion came to protect Arjuna, He hid the sun by His Maya and created a false sunset. This is violation of nature but the mother will not mistake for it. She knows that her son is in need of such violation since it is inevitable. She co-operates with her son. Thus the human incarnation is liked by both the Father and mother. Whenever the human incarnation exhibits the super power, the nature also co-operates like mother to her son. Thus it is not treated as violation of the nature. The nature is not insulted here. Whenever there is a necessity of a miracle, it occurs spontaneously because the nature also co-operates with the son in the divine program. Even God does not like to violate the rules of the creation. Therefore the power of violation of the natural rules (Maya) is kept with the God only (Mayinam tu Maheshwaram –Gita). God as father or as husband or as son does not like to disturb the independent status of the nature. World is separated from God as an object of entertainment with individuality. God gives equal status to the nature (Prakrutim Purushamchaiva –Gita). Same is the case with the son of God. He has the Maya limited to Himself only and does not like to exhibit it for name and fame. No son will insult his mother for his name and fame. Similarly, the father or husband towards the daughter or wife. When a situation of emergent requirement comes, even the mother, daughter, or wife will not mistake for the violation and in fact co-operates. This is the difference between the human incarnation and the human being on exhibiting super powers. The demon always exhibits the super powers and insults the mother for his fame and supremacy. The mother will finally insult him in such a way that he is completely destroyed. Here also, the attitude is not revenge but transformation of the soul only. In the childhood, Krishna exhibited a series of miracles continuously because it was very much pressing emergency because His own life was under threat. If He does not save His own life, He cannot implement the divine program for which He has come down. Creation is compared to Female and Creator is compared to Male The creation is compared to female and the creator is compared to male. The creation is controlled by the creator. Generally the female is controlled by the male. Following this convention, the concept is represented accordingly. Goddess Lakshmi is pressing the feet of the Lord Narayana as a servant. Here some misunderstand this as the male domination. Since the male domination existed in nature, the concept is represented like that. This does not mean that the concept supports the male domination. Even in the ancient tradition, there used to be some cases of female domination over the males. According to that tradition God is represented by the female or Parashakti whose throne is carried by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva on their shoulders. Sankara praises God in female form in Soundaryalahari in which it is stated that Brahma creates the universe from the dust of Her lotus feet, Vishnu carries it on His head and Shiva powders it and applies on His body as ash. (Taniyamsam Pamsum….). Here God is in the female-medium and the souls are in the mediums of males. Here Vishnu represents the soul and Adiparashakti represents God. Therefore the domination of male or female is not the point here, which may vary from case to case. But the domination of God over souls is the reality that is to be represented. Rama is God and Sita is the soul. Suppose two females or two males act as Rama and Sita on the stage, the domination of Rama over Sita on the stage should not be disturbed. The domination of anyone over the other behind the screen is not at all considered on the stage. Even if the dominating male acts as Sita and the submissive female acts as Rama, the domination of Rama over Sita on the stage is inevitable. Therefore the human incarnation whether male or female is the master and the human beings whether males or females are the servants. When the human incarnation of Durga appeared to kill Mahishasura, Durga is female and Mahishasura is male. You cannot give victory to Mahishasura since he is male and defeat to Durga since She is female. Let the dominations and suppressions of males and females be restricted to the human beings only as social problems and let them not enter and pollute the spiritual concepts. Similarly, the caste system. Krishna, the human incarnation is a non-brahmin. The sages who were Brahmins prostrated to Krishna. Even today, the Brahmin priests are washing the feet of the statue of Krishna and drinking the washings as pious water (Teertham). Rama was non-brahmin but Ravana was a brahmin. Rama is the hero who is the God. Ravana is the villain who is a demon. Because of their caste, the hero and villain cannot be interchanged. Datta, Vamana, Parasurama and Kalki are brahmins. Rama, Krishna and Buddha are non-brahmins. Therefore the human incarnation is the master, the other human beings are servants, and the caste system has no relevance in the spiritual field. Ravana was a male and a Brahmin. Gopikas were women and belonged to the backward caste. Gopikas were given Goloka which is the top most place. Ravana was thrown into hell. Even if you consider Jaya as the real actor in the role of Ravana, he became only the gatekeeper of the Lord. Therefore in the devotees also, the concept of male or female and the concept of caste system does not exist except the devotion proved by sacrifice. Gopikas proved their devotion by sacrificing butter (wealth), Dharma, children and finally they sacrificed even their lives by jumping into fire when Krishna left the human body, even though their husbands were alive! See the quality of devotion of Gopikas who were women of backward caste. See the state of Ravana who is male and brahmin. He desired for the wife of the Lord! He could not recognize Rama who was the human incarnation at that time and neglected Him as an ordinary human being. Ravana was a great scholar of Vedas and Shastras. The four vedas and the six shastras represent the ten heads of Ravana. He did unimaginable penance. He believed only in the energetic forms of the upper worlds. He never considered the human race. He thought himself as God due to the super powers attained by Him. Sudama was a male and a brahmin but stole the part of parched rice to be given to the Lord while both were students. Sudama was punished with severe poverty for that sin. Therefore the Lord Krishna proved that there is no caste or gender for Him except the proved devotion which is the sacrifice. Veda says that all the souls are females (daughters) only and the God is the only male or Purusha (Atha Purusho ha vai Narayanah, Striyah Satih Taume Pumsa ahuh –Veda). However if you call the soul as Purusha based on the root meaning that the soul or awareness is lying in the body (Puri sete iti), then God is called as Purushottama meaning that He is the best soul due to the extra presence of God. In fact the word Purushottama means the human incarnation. The best soul is also a soul. The human incarnation is also a human being. The best soul is also different from all the souls by some extraordinary point i.e. the extra existence of God. In the human incarnation, God exists beyond perishable external gross body and also beyond the internal permanent Jeevatma (Causal body with the subtle body which means the awareness with its waves). This is clearly stated in Gita while explaining the word Purushottama (Prathitah Purushottamah). Meaning of 'Son of God' as told by Jesus Jesus claimed Himself as the son of God. In fact any human incarnation is son of God. If the human incarnations are sons of God, what about the other human beings in the creation? They are daughters of God. What is the difference and similarity between son and daughter? The similarity is that both son and daughter are the issues of father and mother. Similarly the human incarnation and the human being have the same parents and similar birth. The difference between son and daughter is that the son is a male like the father and the daughter is a female like the mother. Here God is the divine father. The power of God which is in the form of creation (Prakruti) is the divine mother. Thus the human incarnation and the human being are created by the will of God and by the body given by the mother. Therefore the human incarnation and the human being have the same human bodies with the same five elements. The will of the God is the sperm of the Father that entered the womb of the mother secretly. Gita says the same (Tasmin Garbham Dadhamyaham). It appears as if the mother has delivered the child because the union of the Father with mother is a secret. Similarly, it appears as if the children are produced from parents, who constitute the divine mother (Prakruti) only. Without the will of God, the child cannot be born and the will of God is secret. Now the human being is a replica of the mother. This means that the human being consists of the structure of the mother only in toto. The structure of the Father is not seen in the daughter. The awareness (soul) is a part of the creation (Prakruti) only and is called as Paraprakruti (Prakrutim Viddhi Me Param - Gita). The external body and the subtle body (Gunas or Antahkaranams) constitute another part of creation called as Aparaprakruti). In fact the awareness itself is another Antaharanam called as Chittam that stores the knowledge. In the Aparapraruti, only three Antahkaranams are told in Gita. Therefore Chittam, the awareness storing the knowledge must be Paraprakruti. Therefore the human being is just a photograph or duplicate of the Prakruti or Mother. If you analyze the son, the body of the son is also from the womb of the same mother but it contains an extra item that is the male structure of the Father. Similarly in the human incarnation, all the items of the human being (which are categorized as Para and Apara) exist with an additional item which is God (The Divine Father). The son is a human body like the daughter from the womb of the mother but has extra structure of the Father. Similarly the human incarnation is a human being and God joined together. This extra structure of God does not exist in all the human beings. This is the meaning of the ‘son of God’ as told by Jesus. Similarly Krishna is the human incarnation having the contribution from both the mother and Father. He refers to the aspect of God (Ajopisan….) and also to the aspect of Mother (Prakrutim svam….). Thus human incarnation is two in one system. Generally, He acts like His sisters in respecting the mother by following all the rules of nature only. Only in a rare occasion, He behaves like the father and controls the mother for which the mother will not mistake. You say that fish etc., should not be eaten. Then, what is the purpose of creating this fish etc., by God? ---------------------------------- Ans.) Suppose I say that the purpose of creating the man is also to supply the food to tigers, lions, man-eating hunters in the forests, etc., how do you feel? Why don’t you allow tigers and lions to freely come to villages and towns and have their food? A soul is being punished through these births of fish etc., A bird, fish, etc., does not store any thing for future. Thus the soul is in the training of decreasing its selfish behaviour. A sinner who amasses the wealth of others and goes on storing for selfish purpose is born as fish etc., By leading a life of a fish, which does not store even food for tomorrow, the soul is learning the self-less attitude. Punishment is only meant for change. Thus the births of fish etc., is for a particular purpose of its soul in the spiritual path. God is the teaher who punishes all these souls, which are His students. If you view God in this angle, you will understand God as the kindest teacher. A sinner who stores the wealth and does not donate to others, gets the birth of a plant or tree. The plant or tree stores the excess earned food in the form of fruits and is forcibly made to donate these fruits to the living beings. Thus a soul in a tree is forced to learn sacrifice, which is the most essential part of the spiritual effort. Thus God is leading all the souls towards the highest spiritual goal. If you understand this real purpose, you will not dream of eating those living beings. Will you kill your classmate who is learning? This whole world is a single classroom with the single teacher who is ‘Guru Datta’, meaning the Lord given to this world in the form of a teacher. Even in the green plant a soul exists and therefore should not be cut. From this point of view, the Lord came in the human forms like Bhuddha and Mahavir Jain and preached the non-voilence as the highest duty of a human being. The Hindu Dharma Sashtra (Manu Smrithi) clearly condemns such killing (‘Ahimsa Paramodharmah’).

Even fish eats some creatures and so there is no sin if I eat the fish. Even plants have life. Tsunami killed even innocent children. Can you analyze these points? ============== Ans) A goat is a pure vegetarian but you are eating that goat also. When you find a human being, who is a murderer, will you kill him directly or hand over him to the court? Assuming that the fish is also a murderer, you cannot kill it directly. God will punish it. In the case of the fish, you need not file a case against the fish in the court of the God, because there is no need of such filing in the case of God. Moreover you are raising your voice against the hanging of a murderer stating, “If you cannot give life, you have no right to take it away”. You are also pleading that hanging is the most barbaric deed and that several countries have banned it. Your statement applies to the fish also, which is a murderer of the creatures. Life is common in the human being as well as the fish. Both are living beings. If you don’t have right to take away the life of a human being, you have also no right to take the life of the fish also. The Dharma Shastras say that non-voilence is the highest justice (Ahimsa Paramo Dharmah). If you say that the fish kills the creatures for food and that there is no sin, there should not be sin if cornivorous hunters from forest enter the city and start eating the human beings. You should not object their food also, but you will kill them because your fellow human beings are killed. If you broaden your heart and see the fish as your fellow living being, you are practicing the highest form of justice, which pleases the Lord. You cannot compare the plants with animals and birds. Even in the case of plants, the green plants should not be cut. Plucking leaves and fruits is not killing. The crops are cut only when they die after loosing the sign of the life, which is the Green Chlorophyll. In plants life exists but mind and intelligence do not exist. Life is called as Pranamaya Kosa. Mind is Manomaya Kosa. Intelligence is Vijnanamaya Kosa. The life is only inert mechanism of exchange process of Oxygen and Carbondioxide and release of energy by oxidation. This mechanism has no awareness of the pain. The mind is represented by the nervous system, which is not present in the plants. The mind may be in very very primitive stage in plants as per the research of Mr. Bose. The ancient Indian sages avoided even plucking the leaves and fruits. They ate leaves and fruits when they have fallen from the plants (Swayam Viseerna Dhruva Patra Vruttita). They avoided this trace of sin also. In plucking the leaf and killing an animal, the sin is qualitatively equal, but there is a lot of quantitative difference. One percent sin and hundred percent sin cannot be equated. Your argument concludes that if one does one percent sin, why not hundred percent sin be done? This equates to your statement that if one plucks a leaf why not we kill an animal. Are you pained equally if I steal one rupee or one lakh rupees from your pocket. The trace of sin can always be neglected. The Lord came as Bhuddha and preached this non-voilence. Veda also says that one should kill his animal nature in the sacrifice and not the animal (Manyuh Pasuh). As you think, children are not innocent. The child of a demon has the devil characteristics in the form of seeds. The soul in a child has just entered the earth after a long punishment in the hell. The strength of the sinful attitude (Samskara) is very much reduced but did not vanish completely. A thief when released from a police station after a long torture has the attitude of stealing in very much reduced state. The attitude did not disappear. When he comes out and enters a suitable encouraging atmosphere, this seed grows as a tree and he is caught by the police again for his theft. Similarly when the child grows, again the grown up person does the same sin and at the end goes to the hell. This is the cycle of deeds (Karma Chakra). When a child is taken away by God, it is something like arresting the thief immediately after his release. This prevents the thief to steal again. He must be considered lucky. The child may get a better birth. The angle of sympathy comes since you are not aware of the soul in the body of the child. The body is like a shirt and the death is only destruction of the shirt. Gita emphasizes about this aspect in the beginning itself. The plans of the Lord are not known to us. He may give a better shirt in a better place and protect the soul. We see a brief part of the film and conclude. Only complete and thorough spiritual knowledge can remove all the doubts.
