  1. Interesting. All Muslims (Shiat, Hanafi, Sahafaie, Maliki or Hanbali) support Pro-USraeli Arab kings, Sheikhs, Emirs and Sultans funding Al-Qaeda. That would not go too well with the Taliban. They have strong ties to Al-Qaeda. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/terrorism/jan-june11/frontline_05-03.html
  2. I have removed Facts About Obama From the Directory. There was too much hate and violence. Google still has a cache: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:o4gRLwq14foJ:www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php%3Fshowtopic%3D15546+Facts+about+Obama+DCMessageBoards.com&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com If you want to view it. It is now in the cloud until it disperses.
  3. So are Shias and Sunnis opposed to the actions of Al-Qaeda? Do Shias and Sunnis consider Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden to have been disgruntled, misguided, just a puppet, or holy warrior?
  4. Do you believe of this coming transformation of society, after which all things will be changed, based on a one-thousand-year cycle? My Observation is the world is dynamic and catastrophic. I do believe in cycles and trends. Trends come from the gift of choice God has given us to shape the future. That gift of choice I am educated to believe is Liberty. The inward illumination you believe to be Imam in nonmaterial form, I have been baptized and confirmed to believe in the gift of the Holy Trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. You believe that Imam will be with Jesus Christ at the end of times. Imam is a man to you. Jesus is a man to you.
  5. Why not just embrace one flat tax? No Entitlements and Tax Breaks. Create an equation that gives value to capital holdings and borrowing of money? Adjust this amount according to the deficit. Display who the money we owe to and how much? The Federal Reserve can be a very good thing for our country. It protects our financial independence from the rest of the world. We just need to make it more transparent. Classifying certain information by levels of secrecy just like the military, national archives, and intelligence units use. A better community outreach of what their doing is needed. We cannot have our Citizens of the United States consider the The Treasury Department's Central Bank doing business with shadow cartels or any special interest that conflict with our National Policy. Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac should be moved to the Federal Reserve to unwind at a proper economic pace. The United States has no business backing home and property loans ever, but we need to honor its debt to past customers. Keep Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Healthcare until 25, and Collective Bargaining in place. Benefits should only be given to citizens that have paid taxes for five years. Exempt students and the disabled that are not fit to work.
  6. The Shrine of Two Imams, Ali al-Hadi and Hassan al-Askari Alī al-Hādī was the tenth of the Twelve Imams. Hassan al-Askari was the eleventh of the Twelve Imams. Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Mahdī is believed to bee the ultimate savior of humankind and the final Imām of the Twelve Imams. Twelver Shī‘a are said to believe that al-Mahdī was born in 869 and did not die but rather was hidden by God (this is referred to as the Occultation) and will later emerge with Isa (Jesus Christ) in order to fulfill their mission of bringing peace and justice to the world. Have you seen the Iranian government's new film "The appearance of Imam Mahdi Is Imminent?" The film shows Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Ahmadinejad and the Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as the most important characters contributing to the emergence of Imam Mahdi. From what I read the shrine at Jamkaran (located a short distance away from Qom), is where the Mahdi is said to dwell. With the strong backing of President Ahmadinejad, the Jamkaran mosque has been undergoing a complete renovation and expansion in recent times. President Ahmadinejad's end prayer called on the messiah to hasten his appearance is unique and illustrates the sense of immediacy that Ahmadinejad frequently seeks to convey when speaking about the Mahdi’s appearance. According to Ahmadinejad’s own account, as he made this call to the Lord he was bathed in a green light, which he took as a sign that the Mahdi himself was blessing the speech. Al Mahdi will materialize when the believers are severely oppressed in every corner of the world. He will fight the oppressors, unite the Muslims, bring peace and justice to the world, rule over the Arabs, and lead a prayer in Mekkah at which Jesus will be present. In a speech to clerics in Mashad last month, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the appearance of the Hidden Imam, the Shi'ite messiah, was imminent, and declared, "The time has come for us to carry out our global duty... With God's help, Iran will become the center of [global] leadership... The Hidden Imam runs the affairs of Iran and of the rest of the countries of the world... and he is preventing the U.S. from taking over Iraq's oil and looting it." Alam-al-Hoda, Friday prayer leader in the city of Mashhad, reinforced Ahmadinejad's statements, saying that nuclear scientists had told him that they had successfully overcome the technical difficulties of developing Iran's nuclear program by turning to the Hidden Imam. Some references to Imam Mahdi To sum this all up. Does Iran's President believe the Apocalypse is close at hand? Does Ahmadinejad believe that he might be Imam Mahdi? Is he suggesting that he will use nuclear weapons like the fabled Zulfiqar to end all evil.
  7. Osama Bin Laden disgraced his family with reckless regard for humanity. Would this be a good Arabic translation of understanding?
  8. Thank God our soldiers were not harmed. They risked everything to end the terror of a well funded mad man. How people can believe our Creator wants us to harm each other is beyond my understanding. Everything was timed perfectly. Osama bin Laden was living in a mansion in the suburbs of the Pakastani Capital. It is quite apparent that their intelligence knew where he was living, considering it was next door to their military academy. I am grateful that they gave the green light to end this. President Obama should be given credit for implementing leadership. The Intelligence community should be given credit for gathering, organizing, and distributing channels in a completely secure environment. Our military service should be honored for executing a well thought plan. Our Allies were given appropriate notice and in turn, they should be thanked for their support in keeping communication silence. The burial at sea was well done. Our main focus should be diplomacy and respect of our neighbors. Respect the choices people make in their lives. Strength should be shifted to the economy and defense of our borders. We need to make sure that those that choose to give their lives to protect us are honored and given support from our country.
  9. The al-Qaida leader was killed in a mansion outside Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.
  10. Hopefully this issue is resolved. http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/rss_viewer/birth-certificate-long-form.pdf
  11. The Federal Budget script is getting is getting to costly for business. We are in economic war with ourselves and global trade. Friday's House Session was a farce designed to shout. We are arguing interpretations of School House Rock. Democrats scaring us that House Republicans are following a Hitler "Mein Kampf" strategy, similar to what is going in Wisconsin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw837zt81nw The workers are split in two. This gives Republican a vested advantage of power Republicans stating that is simply not the case. If this was a Hollywood production, heads would be rolling. This banter is getting stale and cliche. The "Fish or Cut the Bait" bit did make me laugh. I have seen better Wrestling skits. At least they know how to take a hit. Public servants do not deserve this crap. Veterans and Members of the United States Military Armed Forces please read this. I did like what that one man stated that legislators are except from the pay freeze. The empty wallet pain should come from them first. All of them. If this is the best they got then all the key participants and Party Leaders should be given a vote of no confidence. One of the members needs to be brave and ask for a vote of No Confidence. If they do not a petition should be made to the Federal Elections Commission to put an additional public referendum of No Confidence Equals No Pay" Members of Congress should not able to receive any funds and entitlements until the budget is resolved. The Executive Branch should follow suit. A pay freeze for Department leaders and political appointees should be given until the budget is resolved. Voters should have the right to vote No Confidence for all Federal Representatives and Senators. The Judicial Branch and Federal and Election Boards, and Electoral Collage should appoint mediators to manage the process.
  12. I really hope people are paying attention to our erosion of status and power. http://www.cnbc.com/id/42065544/ China has become the world’s top manufacturing country by output, returning the country to the position it occupied in the early 19th century and ending the U.S.’s 110-year run as the largest goods producer. The change is revealed in a study released on Monday by IHS Global Insight, a U.S.-based economics consultancy, which estimates that China last year accounted for 19.8 per cent of world manufacturing output, fractionally ahead of the US with 19.4 per cent.
  13. Foreign Interests Must Be Desperate The latest banter coming from the other side is that they want people to think Made in America is a Union ploy. When actually Made in America is our only hope. Oil prices from violence and greedy speculation is driving all energy and goods prices up, up, up! Acquisition of these products are done on market level. It is very difficult to get proper investment without significant capital. You can have a great idea, but it will go no where if Wall Street is not on board. Goods and Services have been globalized, so that resource needed by host is ignored. History shows us Banana Republics with two classes; rich and poor. In times of resource stress, the host can find both a product shortage and a devaluation of price. The host has little say to these profit organisms. The American labor force is being replaced by: outsourcing goods and services; cheaper immigrant labor forces; and technology. Technology Software and Products are being traded around more and more. Statistics show that the pack has either caught up or passed us already in many sectors. Energy, Finance, Agriculture, Medical, Pharmaceutical, etc... I find it comical that British Petroleum has been awarded another well head in the Gulf. I find it even more comical that they made 5 billion in profit last year. Good for them. They are true models of the International (multinational) Corporation. Wall Street underwriters follow an efficient path to profit. Whether it is good or bad, I cannot state with certainty. But, I do know that we are suffering. I am asking that the Barons of Wall Street, Energy, and Media do what is best for country now that tangible resources are becoming smaller. Consider your brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, that do not have the same advantages as you. Start buying American made retail goods. Start lending to Small Business again. I applaud Disney having the guts to air their "Made in America" television series on ABC. At least a discourse is starting. I shared these sentiments by writing the White House and got the following response. We need to get past our differences and get together as a country. United We Stand. Divided We Fall. This means that both union and non union private business leaders need to focus on Building a Better Future for our country. Workers have the right to choose their paths as well. In some instances union is the better way to go. In other instances, non union may be the better idea. Outsourcing is not the answer. Outsourcing becomes a bear trap that business cannot escape once the supply chain has been connected. Foreign labor and management have the right to splinter off and capture wealth and intelligence for their own. It is happening right now and accelerating at an unsustainable pace. Once the transfer of wealth is complete only the cream of the crop will benefit. Innovation will become the only answer. I am going to call SBA and see what they have to say today. I still Dream.
  14. This is a good sign Advance Report on Durable Goods Manufacturers’ http://www.census.gov/manufacturing/m3/adv/pdf/durgd.pdf look down to: Table 1 All other durable goods: Shipments………………………….. 33,942 (Jan 2011) 28,437 (Jan 2010) +16% New Orders………………………… 33,966 (Jan 2011) 28,778 (Jan 2010) +16%
  15. I can't see America incorporating the sacred laws of Islam into our form of government. Liberals believe that law come from the people and not supernatural authority. Conservatives from the Christian Right would never allow Sharia law to infringe on their civil liberties and religious freedom. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich does not even think it is an issue. Independents like myself believe in the separation of Church and State. I personally take political beliefs from both sides. Finally, I think the population number of Christians in the United States is far greater than any other beliefs. I think the real threat is Islamophobia. Some groups are trying to stir up a hornets nest. Many of your know that I adopted a Islamic person into my family. Never has this individual affected my Catholic beliefs.
  16. Looks more like this deal will be going through. The New York Stock Exchange will be managed by 10 directors from Deutsche Börse and 7 from NYSE Euronext. Will it be called the World Stock Exchange? I am sure that people will not be using the "Let the Market decide our fate" slogan anymore.
  17. I know nothing of the DTCC, but I find this topic fascinating and deeply complicated. Here is a old story by the Wall Street Journal that simplifies what the DTCC does.
  18. As it is written in the Gospel of Luke, "Then give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." Things have not advanced much since then. Democracy is a constant struggle. Independent is not a bad place to be. I vote for the candidate that best follows my beliefs.
  19. I wish our leaders would not candy-coat the truth. Our labor force is 20x more expensive than the Chinese worker class. Removal of taxes, environmental and safety standards will not bring the giant box retailers back. http://www.newjerseynewsroom.com/commentary/us-worshipping-at-the-walmart-altar-is-only-a-sound-economic-policy-for-china You can get nearly 20 hours of labor (if not a lot more) out of a Chinese worker for an hour's worth of time for a U.S. worker. One can see the obvious benefit of the Walmart paradigm, one that made Sam Walton's family the richest in the world nearing the combined worth of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.
  20. I think the U.S. Chamber is understanding it. http://www.freeenterprise.com/2011/01/unleash-the-power-of-small-businesses-to-create-jobs/#comment-948 I put my two cents in. The choice is consumers. American needs to better market Small Business that give jobs here in the States. Consumers want to know that there are other choices. I want Made in USA, but most of the times I do not have a choice. Everything is outsourced. We are becoming the Epilogue of the Roman Empire. We pay attention to the environment and wildlife, but we do not understand ourselves. We all need to think verify source of where the product is made. Be more bold and tell the employees and managers of these giant box companies we want Made in USA. We need to tell our government leaders we want made in USA. Think local first and global second.
  21. This is great news. If enough Americans believe that we should be making jobs in the United States it will happen. Patriotic peer pressure. http://online.wsj.co...2618821224.html U.S. manufacturing, viewed as a lost cause by many Americans, has begun creating more jobs than it eliminates for the first time in more than a decade. As the economy recovered and big companies began upgrading old factories or building new ones, the number of manufacturing jobs in the U.S. last year grew 1.2%, or 136,000, the first increase since 1997, government data show. That total will grow again this year, according to economists at IHS Global Insight and Moody's Analytics. Among others, major auto makers—both domestic and transplants—are hiring. Ford Motor Co. announced last week it planned to add 7,000 workers over the next two years. The economists' projections for this year—calling for a gain of about 2.5%, or 330,000 manufacturing jobs—won't come close to making up for the nearly six million lost since 1997. But manufacturing should be at least a modest contributor to total U.S. employment in the next couple of years, these economists say. After a steep slump during the recession, manufacturing is "the shining star of this recovery," says Thomas Runiewicz, an economist at IHS. He expects total U.S. manufacturing jobs this year to rise to about 12 million. Currently, manufacturing jobs account for about 9% of all U.S. nonfarm jobs; the average pay for those jobs is roughly $22 an hour, or nearly twice the average for service jobs, according to government data.
  22. GS says only foreign investors for FB. Sorry but United States investors not allowed. Isn't Goldman Sach's an American Bank? Isn't Facebook an American company? But, Americans cannot invest in it? What is wrong with this picture?
  23. Letting politicians use these tools are quite dangerous too. Look the special treatment from Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage got even though he admitted that he leaked out that Valerie Plame was a CIA agent. http://articles.cnn.com/2006-09-08/politics/leak.armitage_1_novak-and-other-journalists-cia-officer-valerie-plame-patrick-fitzgerald?_s=PM:POLITICS Instead of going to jail for endangering an agent, he gets treated like a hero and receives the Department of State Distinguished Honor Award. Now he serves on the Board of Directors of ConocoPhillips, ManTech International Corporation and Transcu Ltd. This set a bad precedent and was one of the factors that got President Obama in office. People in power are still subject to the same laws as everyone of us.
  24. China has made a big move to expand its currency globally by offering Yuan denominated accounts at its bank branch in New York city. http://www.bocusa.com
  25. I am with you. This right wing, left wing, yin, yang, kung foo insanity has to stop. The next trade meeting our leaders need to watch the Green Hornet and do a comparison study on the movie's similarity to the real world. We are completely wasting our potential. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_Y_rLBIxOM
