silver_surfer
i find it very helpful to find a puddle/pond to throw stones in it. if the pond/puddle is big enough try w/ a kite and a board to ride the hell out of the stress, at least if they call you airhead you justify it and feel better or the wind blows it away either way it hellps.. ..and a board.. - cuz not to be shark bite;)

prashantkochar1
In today's materialistic life, mind is always in a restless position. This stress and depression has a very bad effect on the body as well as on the mind of the person. A depressed person suffers from muscle aches, clenched jaws, tooth grinding, stomach upset etc. Such person displays irritability, dissatisfaction and inability to concentrate. I am saying this because I have experienced all this. Fortunately, I got a chance to meet a true master "Anandmurti Gurumaa". She suggested me to practice meditation like 'dance meditation', 'active meditation' and 'yog nidra''. I am practicing it continuously from few months. I am finding a lot of changes in my mind and body. It is a method of total transformation. http://www.gurumaa.com/yog-nidra-meditatio...glish.php"" target="_blank">meditation for stress relief Love, meditate and celebrate -Prashanti

Raven
You are so right to have no stress with our busy life styles is difficult. Yoga, meditation, long walks in the park or just around the block will help relieve stress. There is just talking to family, friends, reading a book, watching television to help as well. But on the down side of people having stress is that they turn to prescription or illegal drugs, start drinking alcohol as stress relievers, they do not help anyone. The stress will still be there when they sober up, then what more of the same? All drugs and alcohol does is ruin lives, families, and possibly take a life because of their usage.
