Easter Brunch At The Fairmont

Recommended Posts

There’s no better place to be in the nation’s capital for Easter brunch than the Colonnade restaurant at the Fairmont Washington, DC. Pleasing palates on Easter Sunday for more than 20 years, the restaurant’s culinary team has prepared a variety of regional favorites and innovative gourmet specialties—artfully styled in what appears to be a never-ending buffet. Feast on smoked, cured and air-dried specialty meats, bay shrimp salad, grilled squid and diver scallop ceviche, roasted tenderloin of beef and poached salmon. Hot selections will include Atlantic spring salmon with leek and chardonnay fondue, veal and wild mushroom ragout in a butter pastry jewelry box, Vermont maple basted duckling breast and olive poached drumettes and pink peppercorn and sea salt crusted rack of spring lamb and lavender scented jus. The buffet will be served from 10 am until 3 pm and is priced at $70 for adults, $35 for children 12 and under. To make reservations, call (202) 457-5000.
