Sarah, It sounds like you are looking for the cold fusion method....There is a special hook needle used to pull the hair through the tube (ALOT smaller than a crochet needle) and a special tool used to secure and open the tube. You also need bulk hair, yes, you can cut the hair off the track but bulk hair works best with that system.... Thank You for your response Valencia

ATTENTION LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!! As most of you know we had a bit of a hair crisis, well that is now over and we are back on track. Hello All, To Wifese, The Remy hair that I use is ethnic hair (Indian) Of course you can also buy European Remy hair as well. Camille will send you samples of her hair per request (Remy Hair Today) I too hate that shiny wig looking hair and lucky for me and my clients I do custom textures so I can nap it up as much as they need. Remy just means that all the hair cuticles are laying in the same direction and that prevents the major tangling that supply store hair does. Camille's hair is not only Remy but Virgin which gives me a clean slate to work on. I have yet to meet a client I couldn't match (texture) so far anyway. As for my pictures, keep in mind that about 50% of the client's hair is uncovered so it is VERY important that the hair match if it appears shiny it is because of the styling products used to protect the clients hair, not the extension hair. She sells tracked hair as well. I do fusion extensions so I purchase bulk hair. Good thing I have a fast internet connection and a very fast computer because I would still be waiting for those poster size pictures to load You know there are people yelling at you right now....Just a little smaller next time if you are going to post more than one....We have to look out for those less fortunate....(But it did make me smile) Camille's Website Thank You for your response Valencia

Daisy, I have never used the Bohym pre-tipped hair but I have used the hair and I had the same problem. I even stripped the hair and pre-tipped by hand and still, shedding....I stopped using the hair. I don't know how they process the hair but it is impossible to remove. I like to pre-tipp the hair by hand because not everyone can use the same size bond, I make my bonds a basic size and cut as needed, I just don't trust the mainstream companies anymore....I feel your pain, I have done alot of re-do's myself because of the use of Beauty Supply Store hair. Try using Virgin hair, they treat their hair with all natural products that can be easily wash away, also make sure your clients have no styling products or oil on the hair before getting the service...Clean dry hair is important.... Great question, I need to view your hair in order to give you a proper analysis....I had a client come in a few weeks ago for a consultation with a full head sew-in weave, she removed a few tracks in the back so I could do a proper analysis....Her hair was Very thin, somewhat healthy but thank goodness we caught it in time....I sent her to Reniece for her pre-fusion treatment and Reniece imformed me that her weave exstentionist used double wefted hair to do her sew-in....So you are right, that makes no sense to me. Why would you use heavy tracks on thin hair? Hello Renay, Thank you for the wonderful statements. I'm sorry but those are the only pictures I have available at this time, this project is still in the infant stage. As for styling options, keep in mind that I took the pictures of my model after the fusion application so her hair was not cut or styled, I just pulled it up. I'm sure with a great haircut you can wear more professional styles as a matter of fact I am working on the afro custom texture for a model Reniece is working with for a photo shoot and the official launch of the textures, of course I'm excited to see the magic that I know she will work. I will post those pictures as they become available.... As for the Hair Show, it is also still in the planning stages. I am working on a few projects that I want perfected before I launch them on a larger scale. It will be well worth the wait. I will keep you in mind for the model thing. Hello Ladies, I am going to do my best to make booking appointments easier.... My book fills up pretty fast so I can't do a walk-in service....Please book a few weeks in advance. If you contact me wanting an appointment that same week 9 times out of 10 is is not going to happen....We need to do a consultation, I need to order your hair and because everything is custom I need to prep, pre-treat and if you want a custom texture I need to process your hair....Please keep in mind I don't use Beauty Supply Store hair, I pre-tipp/apply every fusion bond to the hair in advance by hand. We can do e-mail consultations which saves time. Just snap a few pictures of your hair, front, back, side and any area of concern. It is also VERY important to remember that I need pictures of your hair in the state that it will be at the time of your application appointment. For example....If your hair is natural but you want to go straight (by use of a relaxer) I need to see your hair blow-dried straight....I had a client do a face to face consultation with me with natural hair so I prepared curly hair for her because I thought she wanted to remain natural but when she came in for her fusion application her hair was relaxed silky straight and she wanted straight hair, of course she could have flat-ironed the curly hair straight but she didnot want to go through that and if I applied straight hair to her natural hair, blending would have been impossible. I am not saying that you need to relax your hair before the consultation just blow-dried and flat ironed this way we are on the same page and I can do a proper analysis. This has only happened one time but that is one time too many. After the consultation we will book your appointment. E-mail or out of state clients will be booked via telephone, face to face will book at the time of consultation. If space allows I will book consultation and application appointments at the same time, via telephone (but not for the same day) If you are a no show without a courtesy call you forfeit any future appointments because that is not fair to others.... Alopecia is a tough one, but remember it is hard to fix a problem if you don't know the cause. I would see a dermatologist if I where you. I am a hairstylist/make-up artist so I know we only deal with topical solutions and from time to time alopecia problems stem from below the skin. There is no cure for alopecia but a dermatologist can help control the problem. Fusion bonds can add weight to the hair and that is the last thing you need right now so PLEASE don't attempt do it yourself methods. Proper bond size, placement, maintanence and removal are so important and you don't want to make a rough situation worse.... Thank You Valencia

Great question....It depends on the hairstyle and the length of the hair. The shorter the hair the further up you go, for longer hair just go up toward the crown enough to thicken, lengthen and blend. If the client wants full layers you need to make sure the extensions are full enough from root to end to handle that. When I first started working with fusion bonds I was also nervous that I was taking the bonds up to close to the crown BUT I now know that with proper placement, they will not show and in the past I almost allways had to go back and fill in the crown because it didn't blend after a day or so after the use of oils or the ends appeared too thin because I didn't apply enough hair to balance from root to the ends. It is trial and error my Dear....don't be afraid to add too much....You can allways remove them if they show. THE HAIR SHOW IS STILL ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just have to rearange a few things, you ladies know I can't do anything half way I want the best of the best. As many of you know I have started a few new projects that I want to launch at the show and I am also trying to plan my wedding so be patient it will happen and most important.... Please remember the process you use to remove the bonds is as important as the product used. I use pure acetone (not nail polish remover). Make sure you apply to the bond only. The best way is to use a sturdy spray bottle. Pour the acetone into the spray bottle and spray the bond (direct) once sprayed crush the bond using tweezers or needle nosed pliers, the bond should crystalize into a powder form. I always condition my hair after removing the bonds (DRY HAIR) apply the conditioner and comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb to remove the dead hair and any tangles. Keep in mind that hair sheds on a daily basis and like braids fusion bonds trap that hair until the bond is removed. I love hair mayonaise. I hope this helps Thank You for your response Valencia

Just wanted to let you ladies know that my custom textures are done using Remy Hair Today hair so you know you are still getting Top Of The Line hair. I want to make it clear that once the hair is processed it is no longer virgin hair but it is still Remy Hair meaning all the cuticles are still in tact so there is still no tangling. I have worked hard and long to perfect this and I am VERY proud and excited.... The texture that I have on my online photo ablum is one of many (More pictures to come SOON) I can make the texture as tight or loose as you want, you can even do ringlets and most important you can flat-iron or press the hair straight and it will revert back to the custom texture after a shampoo, EVERYTIME!!!!!!!!!
