Yet, D.C. government officials are going to the Democratic Party Convention to take issue with the lack of voting rights for the District while everybody around the USA knows that Mayor Adrian Fenty has been running the District with the same principles as did Cambodia's Pol Pot. Only 35 years ago, it was estimated that 45% of all medical doctors in the USA smoked cigarettes. Now that doctors lied to us and may have contributed to over 4,900,000 Americans having developed and died from Lung Cancer since 1965, they are now promoting even a deadlier substance upon us to attempt to reverse the wrong of their having told us smoking was okay while raking in over $40 billion year in the USA on this even deadlier substance. That deadly substance doctors are now shoving down the throats of Lung Cancer patients is commonly known as Chemotherapy which has proven to be ineffective in prolonging or saving lives but has proven to destroy a person's immune system, diminishing the quality of what life a Lung Cancer patient might have left and they do this because of tremendous kick-backs they get from the pharmaceutical companies in prescribing their poison and it is made worse by crooked government officials who look the other way; People like DC City Councilwoman Mary Cheh and others who took a bribe (Political Contribution) from the pharmaceutical industry to promote a fraud of saving lives from cancer when they know otherwise which make people like Cheh a drug dealing murderers.

A WASTED EDUCATION THE POLITICS OF GETTING A JOB IN DC About 50% of all American college graduates will never get a job in the field of their educational training and will never make the really good $$$$ throughout their career life they were told they would if they just get a college education. The reason the foregoing is true and may also be why America is slowly but surely falling behind parts of Asia, Europe and parts of South America is because too often jobs are not given based upon your educational or vocational record but based upon cronyism. The sad truth is, America and its crony system is destroying the competitive edge the United States once had over every country in the world. Often you see ads on TV (Kaplan) to further your education so you can move up in the business world. Well very few people do after wasting their money on these programs because unless you are connected, your degree isn't going to take you very far unless your degree is in the health care or legal arenas and even then, the politics of cronyism comes into play. Look at DC government for example. DC Mayor Adrian Fenty is warding jobs not based upon educational or vocational accomplishments but upon cronyism.

GOING BACK TO SCHOOL Soon all of the college students will arrive in town and the public schools will open up. The District of Columbia while being a political town is also a college town with upwards of about 75,000 students attending the various colleges. The presence of the college student is normally a big boost to the local economy especially to the restaurants and retail stores. OBAMA SLIPPING IN THE POLLS While Senator John McCain is now running neck to neck in the polls with Senator Barack Obama, with White Woman but not White men or Hispanics, Hillary Clinton delegates to the Democratic convention still plan on casting their delegate vote for her and all of this continues to show a lack of unity within the Democratic Party resulting in the spin doctors saying Obama's chances of winning come November not a sure thing. It appears that the McCain TV ads have had a negative effect on Obama and Obama's counter ads are not registering well with voters.

COUNCILMAN JACK EVANS SELLS AIR CONDITIONERS IN HELL If we are to believe people in Ward 2 DC who are not fans of DC City Councilman Jack Evans, they will have you believe that he is one of the biggest sleaze balls in the history of DC politics and made his fortune selling air conditioners in Hell. Of course this is an election year and emotions run high and Evans has a serious contender this year in the person of Cary Silverman. While Silverman comes with some impressive credentials, electing him might seem to some the right thing to do in the atmosphere of change but losing Evans would cost the District big time in relationships forged that have and would inure to our benefit of the District for years to come.

STRAIGHT FROM THE WASH POST BLOG WASH POST A couple days ago we told you of mayoral spokeswoman Carrie Brooks' upcoming wedding to Daniel Kohns, noting that Brooks said Mayor Fenty does not have the legal authority to preside over her ceremony. The Post's Style section followed up today with confirmation from the courthouse. Well, that didn't sit right with D.C. Council member Jack Evans, one of the city's longest serving pols, who informs D.C. Wire that he has performed a wedding ceremony. All elected officials have the power to do so, Evans insisted, as long as a judge is in the room. In Evans's case, it was D.C. Superior Court Chief Judge Rufus King III who was present when Evans married two family friends years ago. Evans said he informed King of the current debate over Fenty and King assured him the mayor could preside as long as a judge is present. Asked about the ceremony he performed, Evans recalled that when he asked if the groom would take the bride "for better or worse," the man replied: "Well, I can do the better. I'm not so sure about the worse." Everyone laughed. "Okay, well, what about for richer or poorer, then?" Evans quipped, to which everyone laughed again. He reports that couple is still together. COMMENTS This is great news. With Chief Judge Rufus King assisting in the marriage ceremony, Carrie Brooks' upcoming wedding to Daniel Kohns will be a royal feast as you will have a KING (Judge King) and a QUEEN (Mayor Fenty) present!!!!!

DC MAYOR LIES TO VOTERS ABOUT GOING TO BEIJING I have to call Mayor Fenty to the mat on the worse lie he has told to date. I am speaking of his phony claim of having gone to Beijing for the Olympics. The fact is, Mayor Adrian Fenty was seen on the streets of DC one day before the start of the Olympics, the day the Olympics started and two days later. Possibly Mayor Fenty while driving through Chinatown DC thought he was in Beijing. I challenge Mayor Fenty to produces his passport, airline ticket stub and etcetera and if he can, I will offer to do 200 hours of service at his favorite non profit charity! A LESSON TO BE LEARNED BY MAYOR ADRIAN FENTY Back in the early 1990’s DC was overtaken by the excitement of a new mayor coming in the form of DC’s first female Sharon Pratt-Kelly. Sharon Pratt-Kelly came with a promise of change and not doing business the way government business had been done for years under Marion Barry. Voters were heavily behind Sharon Pratt-Kelly just as they are now behind Adrian Fenty but with the passage of time, executive office abuses, arrogance, fiscal abuses; confrontations with the city council and more, the people of DC realized that they had made a big mistake in electing Sharon Pratt-Kelly. Adrian Fenty is making those same mistakes as did Sharon Pratt-Kelly. Ultimately Sharon Pratt-Kelly slipped away into oblivion and is rarely motioned or seen as she proved to be a major embarrassment. At the end of Sharon Pratt-Kelly tenure as mayor, not only did her political career come to an end but her husband left her and her whole life came crashing down only for ten years to pass by before she came out of political and social seclusion. Mayor Adrian Fenty is following in the same foot steps as Sharon Pratt-Kelly. The voters of DC never seem to learn from their own past voting mistakes.
