Amongst other work, Ari Shaffir is probably most well known for a series of comedy works entitled The Amazing Racist (the title is a play on that of reality television show The Amazing Race). In these shorts the Amazing Racist is seen acting in a manner which is overtly and ironically racist. Shaffir filmed many of his offensive encounters for the DVD, National Lampoon's Lost Reality. They were then ripped to the internet by hundreds of different nerds and then seen by millions of people. Watching the videos makes many people laugh and many people very angry. Ari gets death threats at least once a week and loves them all. If you haven’t seen the videos, Google him. And please don’t watch them at work because you’ll get fired. Ari has also been featured on the TBS show Minding the Store, ESPN Classic’s Cheap Seats, The Latino Laugh Festival on SiTV, has made a few appearances on the Opie and Anthony radio show (including the greatest day of radio of all time – The Baby Bird), and you probably have seen him on one of the many national commercials he has done over the years. Ari’s first love is standup, though, and he is a regular at all the major clubs in Los Angeles. For the last few years he has been touring nationally with Joe Rogan. Ari tends to describe his comedy as a puppet show, but way filthier and without the puppets. Ari wrote this biography, so every time it says “Ari did this” or “Ari did that” it’s really Ari writing it about himself. Ari feels like a tool for having done that. Please don’t come to the show if you’re easily offended or if you don’t like hearing Jews tell awful stories about sexual misconduct or if you hate fun. Everyone else, please do come. www.dcimprov.com

The comedy career of Tom Rhodes began at the age of 17, when he stood alone on stage, for the first time, and created laughter. Since that night at a Florida comedy club, he has been willfully following his bliss. By the age of 22, he was already a solid comedy club headliner across the country and his reputation for testing the limits of his audiences was growing as rapidly as his hair. Rhodes has been seen regularly on national comedy shows including Fox’s "Comic Strip Live," A&E’s "Caroline’s Comedy Hour" and Comedy Central’s "Two Drink Minimum." From his appearances on Comedy Central, Tom was signed to do a series of 30-second image spots promoting the network which showcased his unique ‘90's hippie style. These spots also led to the first-ever development deal for Comedy Central, which allowed Tom to create his own special titled "Viva Vietnam: A White Trash Adventure Tour," commemorating the 20th anniversary of the end of the war. In 1996, Tom brought his hippie-style comedy to prime-time network television, starring in the NBC sitcom, Mr. Rhodes. Once his acting contract had expired, he moved to New York, where he promptly returned to his first love of stand up. During this time, he made regular television appearances on "Later with Craig Kilborn," the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher," to name a few. Tom continues to perform at comedy clubs, colleges and theatres across the country, and has recently completed a half-hour special "Comedy Central Presents" that is currently airing on Comedy Central. www.dcimprov.com

Thomas Miles aka Nephew Tommy is doing the impossible. He is selling out comedy clubs across the country with very little TV exposure. Incredibly entertaining! Ask anyone who has seen Gabriel Iglesias in concert and you will probably hear the same thing, "He was so funny!" Gabriel Iglesias was born in San Diego July 15th 1976. The youngest of six children, he spent his first five years living on the eastside of Chula Vista. By the age of eight Gabriel and his mother were on there own and making a fresh start in the city of Long Beach. One night Gabriel's mother took him to the local video store where he rented a comedy tape starring Eddie Murphy. Two weeks after he saw the tape he was motivated to audition for his 5th grade talent show. A week later he was the hit of the show. To his surprise, Gabriel's silly voices and characters left the audience in stitches. It was at that moment that his dream of becoming a comedian was born. Eleven years later, a friend of his pushed a very scared Gabriel Iglesias onto a stage for the first time in over a decade. April 10th of 2002 marked the six year anniversary of the day Gabriel made his dream of becoming a comedian a reality. Gabriel's style of comedy is a mixture of story telling with character's and sound effects that bring his issues to life. His amazing ability to cross over with his clean animated style of comedy has made him a big demand in all markets. Purchase Gabriel Iglesias's Comedy CD Click Here! Check out Gabriel's website for more info! SPECIAL HALLOWEEN THEMED CHARITY EVENT FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL!! If you paired the greatest stand-up with the greatest Las Vegas act the outcome would be Todd Glass. A true entertainer and inventive showman, Todd makes his illustrious return to the DC Improv. (His jail sentence reduced for good behavior. Thank you state of Kentucky) Starting his stand-up career at 16, Todd has gone on to national comedy tours and has become a favorite with David Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Dennis Miller, having made numerous appearances on all of their shows. Todd has also become a veritable fixture on Comedy Central where he has his own half-hour special, and has appeared on "Make Me Laugh", "Pulp Comics",and "The A-List". Todd has also had his own Showtime and VH-1 specials and costarred on "Married with Children", "Home Improvement" and HBO's "Mr. Show". The L.A. Times praised Todd's "freewheeling style and quick wit" and charmed Variety with his "crafty and sharp edged wit." Todd's over the top demeanor and goofiness that practically mock traditional stand-up make this show fun, fun, fun. www.dcimprov.com

Jake Johannsen, the self confessed raconteur of weird stories, makes his DC Improv comeback February 6th thru 11th. One of the finest and more cerebral comics around, Jake is a regular on David Letterman with over forty appearances and he has been on "The Tonight Show" more than ten times. His HBO special "This'll Take About An Hour" was critically acclaimed and earned Jake an Ace Award nomination for Best Writing in an Entertainment Special. www.dcimprov.com
