Miss Glover Park, you are correct about Jonathan Rees history of doing good things for the DC Gay Community and Sam Brooks never having done anything for them. Jonathan Rees does have a lenghty history of standing up for African Americans, Gays, Hispanics and Women and Sam Brooks has none of this. I think Sam Brooks is just jealous of all that Jonathan Rees has done as he has nothing like Rees to offer voters but just his words but that is due to an age difference. Nevertheless, nobody has ever spoken of all the good Jonathan Rees is on record of doing but cannot show us a single thing that Sam Brooks ever did for African Americans, Gays, Hispanics or women. As for this DCIst Martin, I respectfully argue that Martin has a bias in favor of Brooks as Martin has done several stories on Brooks but never one on Rees or the other candidates although he has had an opportunity to do such which says to me he is a bit biased in his reporting.

Martin, Bite your tounge but at the very bottom of your blog in the left hand side is this tiny GAY SYMBOL and you are only fooling yourself by denying that Gothamist was started by gays and has always catered to gays even if straight people go there! There us nothing wrong with this. Let\'s get real but then again, Miss Glover Park, who cares if they do or do not cater to a class of people as that is no crime and if you oppose gays and gay rights then that is your right.

I think that the owner or moderator of DC Message Board has done all of us a disservice by allowing all of this childish, political bickering instead of deleting it as soon as it is posted but no, it encourages it by allowing it to go on and on. I see two people here Bfrankdc and Truthseeker who I will send over a box of my tampons to as I never saw two screaming little doggesses like this in my life who just cannot stop crying over nothing earth shattering. You two need to grow up and get a life. It would be nice if DC Message Board would go back and delete all of this crap and restore its integrity and from that point on, it ban these jerks who have ruined it for all. No no Bfrankdc and Truthseeker; I fail to see where this guy Rees has done you any wrong but you keep on insisting he has or still is but none of us see it or any real proof of it despite the fact you want us to believe it but the evidence just isn’t there. Missgloverpark, you too have no proof that these two jerks are Sam Brooks. Again, this message board needs to erase all as far back at needed and give us back this message board for real people who want to post real issues of concern. PLEASE TURN THIS BOARD INTO A TABULAR RASA!

Bfrankdc, many of your postings have had the same slashings. It is time to stop as people don t want to hear your petty crap against Rees as he is not messing with you and you need to see that as you are making people start to believe that you are who many say you are, namely, Brooks.

Martin, Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that Mayor Williams suggested that the neglect was more a misuse that benefitted Mr Fenty as if Mayor Williams was implying that Fenty used the money for his own benefit then covered up and only offered to repay once it was known. This reminds me of a similar case at the DC Court of Appeals where an attorney named Terry Kolp did something identical where he mishandled the money for several clients but DC Bar Counsel determined that he used it to build a porch onto his house at 408 5th Street SE but later on was allowed to call it not a theft but a neglect although the Court of Appeals suspended him indeffinitely which you can check the DC Bar Association s record as Kolp plead mental illness to get out of paying back $25k. Maybe Martin it is all symantecs but Fenty would never have given back if what he did had not been uncovered.

All of you are out of date as to who is running for the ward 3 city council seat. Let me give you jerks the run down: 1. ROBERT GORDON - Robert has probably the larger war chest to run his campaign but only a small number of volunteers; 2. JONATHAN REES - Jonathan probably has the biggest number of volunteers who give him an advantage of ward wide coverage which none of the other candidates can match; 3. MARY CHEH - Mary has a modest campaign with a modest amount of money and volunteers but her strenght will be in the GLBT community where she has been a legal advocate for these people; 4. SAM BROOKS - Sam should have been a Republican as his campaign to date has been nothing but a bunch of dirty tricks, lies and using the internet as he has under so many phony names to besmirch others solely to gain some recogntion but otherwise, he has no real campaign active as of yet; 5. JEFF GILDENHORN - Jeff pulled out of the race last week; 6 Mrs. School Board whose name I can t recall will be minor contender. This is the current line up of candidates. I see GORDON and REES being with time, neck and neck to the finish line. As for the race for Mayor, I see Adrian Fenty pulling it off by the hair of his chinny chin chin unless he makes a major mistake or the media comes out with something bad about him, and yes Mr. Frank, Fenty is a theif and you can call taking other people s money for your own use as STEALING even if you want to give it a fancy name or excuse it but in lay terms, it is STEALING what he did. As for council chair, who knows who will pull it off. I have never seen so much squabbling over this stupid ward 3 race on many message boards and most comes from FRANK under different FRANKS and he needs to stop as he his making a jackass out of himself but I am incline to agree that the real person is Sam Brooks and none other.

I think the people here on DC Pages and on all other message boards have wised up to realize who you are, all your phony screen names, that you and nobody else is the one behind the attacks on the other three candidates for our ward city council and unless people are blind, then they realize it too. So you and your many phony screen names need to stop because I have been emailing over 300 of my female friends here in ward three asking them not to vote for you because of the childish crap you have been pulling on many message boards because you are not man enough to take on your competitors in a real way so you resort to this childishness. I assure you, my friends will blanket our ward via email asking us ladies who make up 67% of all ward three voters not to vote for you because of your never ending internet assaults on the other.
