  1. The South Carolina debates have turned into bloodthirsty KKK rallies. Newt is positioning the GOP to become the White only party. BTW, Jackson was a Democrat.
  2. The Bain monster has been revealed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt1INYDo_Ek To them you are a liar. This situation is shifting in all directions. What will you do?
  3. I was laughing so hard yesterday. Sarah Palin’s speech at California State University at Stanislaus was carried live on FOX40.com and after it was finished some reporters, apparently unaware the live feed was still going, could be heard joking about Palin’s speech: “The dumbness doesn’t just come from soundbites.” “I can’t believe she quoted Kennedy – twice. “How am I going to write about this-there’s nothing there-answer well there’s your story.” Can you say big dummy
  4. Let's get the facts straight. The Republican leadership is a bunch snakes. The may look dumb, but that is just a disguise. They are masterminds at taking money from those with little. HUGE LIE NUMBER 1 Republicans will tell you that President Obama turned down foreign offers of assistance in cleaning up the Gulf oil spill. They say he refused to waive Jones Act restrictions on foreign-flag vessels. The truth is five offers have been accepted and only one offer has been rejected. Fifteen foreign-flag vessels are working on the cleanup, and none required a waiver. HUGE LIE NUMBER 2 Republicans have been spinning the idea that Americans will lose jobs with the American Power Act, which they call the "national energy tax." In a brief published by the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics, estimated that the loss of jobs brought about by higher energy prices and reduced drilling and mining activities would be more than offset by added spending required in the electricity sector. As a result, their computer modeling predicts an average net gain of 203,000 jobs through the year 2020. HUGE LIE NUMBER 3 Republicans will tell you that Democratic leaders do not care enough to go visit the Gulf disaster. Republican presidential candidates, Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney have not even taken the time to visit the Gulf. So far no comments. I wonder why??? So, I do not need anymore Republican preaching that they care. Ask Joe Barton if he cares more for money than the safety and environmental prosperity for our country.
  5. Trying to diffuse Republican lies.

  6. Who was it that repealed Glass-Steagall which protected us since the Great Depression? The Republican party with their veto proof majority. Use your minds folks. Ask any Republican if he thinks the banks should be regulated. 9 time out of 10 he will say HELL NO!!!
  7. I am sorry to keep you waiting Human. I have been out shoveling snow. Both President Obama and Senator John McCain explicitly discouraged independent spending by their supporters during the 2008 campaign. Obama also explicitly required a promise by the REPUBLICAN PARTY to adopt a "fundraising truce"– meaning not using the parties or 527s as a way to cheat the system. It was game masters like yourself and the REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP that screwed the deal and you know it. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/politics/jan-june08/obamafund_06-19.html SEN. BARACK OBAMA: This is not an easy decision, and especially because I support a robust system of public financing of elections. But the public financing of presidential elections as it exists today is broken, and we face opponents who've become masters at gaming this broken system. JEFFREY BROWN: Referring specifically to John McCain's campaign, he said... SEN. BARACK OBAMA: We've already seen that he's not going to stop the smears and attacks from his allies running so-called 527 groups, who will spend millions and millions of dollars in unlimited donations. I am tired and I am going to bed.
  8. I think Americans need to know who is perched on the top of the list for campaign contributions from the bank industry. Hmmmm..... Sen. John McCain got a cool $591,919 payoff from from bank lending institutions. Still not done. Sen. John McCain got a whopping $1,612,928 from commercial bank lending and holding companies. Still not done. Sen. John McCain even managed $26,571 from the credit union. Still not done $195,833 Credit agencies and finance institutions Oh my gosh I can't believe this one. $1,616,723 from insurance companies, brokers, and agents. I can go on if you wish. I love rehashing truths.
  9. Hello Human, I miss reading your one liner retorts. But, I am back to remedy that. So typical that you blame those that are trying to fix your mistakes? Year 2000 we had a 200 BILLION DOLLARS IN SURPLUS. Year 2008 we had a 11 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT. What happened? Please explain. When your REPUBLICAN side had the majority and president for almost all of the 8 years. What happened? Please explain. When your party did not veto or block one spending bill during this time. What happened? Please explain. Your party threatened to remove the filibuster, now its your Republican party's main tool. What happened? Please explain. Your party hit the pundit circuit all last year when they should have actually been at Committee meetings. What happened? Please explain. BTW, I thought Ben Bernanke was appointed by President Bush. What happened? Please explain. Who are you trying to kid here. I do not believe you want a full audit of the Federal Reserve? I saw your boy Sen. Gregg standing hand in hand with Sen. Dodd applauding Ben Bernanke's nomination and blocking the audit. You and I both know that bankers will back the person who gives them the best return for their money. It is that simple. We need to sweep the BS out of the kitchen and move forward. We need to install the Volker Rule and use the Bipartisan Commission to get real reform done. That is coming from a real DEMOCRAT AND PROUD OF IT. The fault I give the Obama administration is getting lured into the REPUBLICAN siren call. ADMIN WHERE IS MY AVATAR PHOTO? IT IS GONE!!!
  10. The Democrats are in NO WAY stopping this from getting REFORM FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE done. Look to the other side of the aisle. Ranking Republican Richard Shelby and his Republicans minions DO NOT want real reform. Case Example. Sen. Christopher Dodd (D., Conn.) said in a statement released by his office that he and Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama, the top GOP member of the Senate Banking Committee that Dodd chairs, have "reached an impasse" on legislation to change the way financial markets are regulated. The banks have told Shelby to stall and weaken reform. But, the Republican propaganda machine will not tell you that.
  11. I am sorry you feel that way when it has been Republicans that are continuing to make this mess. Case example. Senator Richard Shelby is currently holding hostage confirmation of President Obama's cabinet members, because his state will gain 1,500 jobs if Northrop wins a fuel tanker contract. This is more dirty Republican politics that Americans don't want.
  12. The ONLY hope you folks in the Confederate Party have at this point is that you can somehow get one of the Politician's outside the Stupid South to buck their people and history.
  13. The Republicans are calling this a "Death Book." They all know Bush gave a simular document to soldiers. All this mudslinging is mute. The white elephants are now on-board with Health Care reform. Their Health Care Bill is the same as ours. We can all be happy that a deal is being made.
  14. Contrary to popular opinion, the proposal is NOT actually universal health care or any other scare words the Republicans have been throwing around. The plan itself is laid out in a nine page pamphlet detailing the changes to be made and it seems fairly straightforeward. http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/issues/HealthCareFullPlan.pdf
