The IP lookup and the "Multiple Alias Disorder" posts will help clarify what we - meaning those of us who try to counter this guy's hate speech and libel in the absence of active board moderation - have been saying for months now. Don't take our word for it (as the poster asks everyone to do.) I urge you to verify it to your satisfaction. Moderators of any Ward3 yahoogroup, as well as DCist, DCeiver, DCDL and the Washington Post DCWire can tell you more. There's a reason this is the only place this person posts this degrading nonsense, Luke. It's because he CAN. This certainly isn't the first example of revolting, sexually explicit gaybaiting he's engaged in here but to my knowledge it's the first time any moderator here has tried to stop him. They don't let him get away with it on any other boards. This, by the way, is no doubt why he began using proxies - he hadn't realized until we pointed it out that he had left a very public trail of IP addresses on Yahoo. It makes it harder to identify him, but not impossible. And in any case, the yahoogroups IPs have already unveiled him. (For example, go to the Tenleytown group, around August 24. Check out the IPs on the posts from Rees himself and Rees supporters. Same addresses, pre proxy.)
