Help Develop The Untapped Potential Of Dc Youth

Urban Alliance, a Washington, DC nonprofit, has been employing youth since 1996. For the past 9 years we have placed over 500 high school students in meaningful, paid internships throughout the city. We also provide life skills training, job readiness workshops, matched savings accounts, and college/career planning assistance.

This year, Urban Alliance had an unprecedented amount of qualified students apply for the program. We need the business community's help to find internships for these bright, dedicated young people.

If you can:

1. Employ a student in a professional atmosphere from 2-5pm Monday-Thursday for the 2005/2006 school year

2. Provide the student with a mentor/supervisor

3. Donate part or all of the $8,000 required to pay, train, and support a student intern
