Guest Sally Smith Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 On Sunday, May 9, We will be writing letters to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq to give our thanks and support. Our goal is to write 5,000 letters that day, so we'll need as many volunteers as we can get! We will take as many volunteers as you can send! Volunteers can come any time between 10 am - 5 pm. It would be great if they could sign up for any of the following shifts: 10 am - noon; noon - 2:30 pm; 2:30 pm - 5 pm. We will be on the National Mall between 4th and 7th street NW, across from the Air and Space museum. You won't be able to miss us! There will be big tents and signage. Dress comfortably and feel free to bring the whole family. We will have a great station with fun materials for kids to make creative cards for the troops.
