Ed_Palmedo Posted August 4, 2009 Report Share Posted August 4, 2009 Is it just me or do the Nationals look like a completely different team since Manny Acta was fired. I mean they still are horrible fielding the ball and they hardly ever play a complete game (offense, defense, and pitching). That said, some of our players are starting to step it up (Lannan, Zimmerman, Willingham, and Morgan) while the Nats are starting to get some timely hitting in games. I saw a stat today in the paper that stated how awful the Nationals are hitting with runners in scoring position. Seriously, they are in the bottom 3-5 teams in every offensive category whenever they have a chance to get some RBIs. I also like to see the team fighting back in games for some comeback victory's.
