Psycho Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 When I got out of college in New York I did what most young people did; namely, I registered as a Democrat, voted Democrat but as time passed by, I realized that being a Democrat did not benefit me. My first job out of college with the World Bank was arranged for me by a Republican. My next three jobs in life were arranged and/or offered to me by Republicans. Every opportunity I was given was given by Republicans. Understanding that Democrats and the Democratic Party in DC never did a damnn thing for me, I realized that I should support the political party that gave me opportunities to put my talents to good use.
