Sponsored by Castries Creme and hosted by Komplex, The @ttic is the perfect club alternative event to mix and mingle, network, and enjoy an interactive environment that incorporates monthly themes and charitable giving. With hits from the 80's, 90's and today, DJ Munch is guaranteed to set the vibe for the night. On April 3rd, The @ttic celebrates National Poetry Month with HBO Def Poets Poem-Cees and Vanessa Hidary. The Poem-Cees, otherwise known as, Black Picasso and Natural Law-DP, fuse hip-hop with poetry to bring a unique twist to the art form. Vanessa Hidary, The Hebrew Mamita, hails from New York City. Through monologues, poetry and hip-hop, she takes you back to the days of shelltop Adidas, creating a raw, touching portrait of race relations that has the ability to awaken as well as entertain. Doors open at 8pm. Admission is $10. Drink specials from 8pm - 9pm.
