The DC Improv is teaming up with Comcast Cable and producing a local showcase to air ON DEMAND for Comcast Cable. This show consists of 12 of the hottest DC comedians working the area today.

50 lucky people will get the opportunity to see be a recorded TV audience in our Comedy Lounge.

 

Comcast Comedy Open Mic ON DEMAND gives fledgling comics a shot at the spotlight, and viewers the thrill of discovering stars in their own back yard.

 

Here's how it works: Comcast teams up with popular local comedy clubs, sending in a camera crew. Then they record the routines that look most promising, along with behind-the-scenes interviews.

 

The final videos are sweetened with professional graphics, including a snazzy open and the club and comedian's names. Then they're posted on the ON DEMAND server.
