cmc3j Posted February 12, 2007 Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 LOCAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY’S DAFFODIL DAYS For more than 30 years, the American Cancer Society has marked the beginning of spring with Daffodil Days®, its long-standing fundraising program to help raise money to support the fight against cancer and share hope for all people facing the disease. This year’s Daffodil Days is coming to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, March 14, 2007. The American Cancer Society is currently looking for volunteers – individuals with transportation-to assist in packing and delivering daffodils any available time between 8:00-5:00 on March 14th. In addition, we need help in our DC office sorting and packing Daffodil orders on Tuesday, March 13th.
