Psycho Posted January 23, 2007 Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 NBC News reports that pentacostalism is the fastest growing religious orientation in America among Christians and other religions like Judiasm and Islam are seeing similar shifts toward deeper and more verbatim trends among followers. This "pentacostalism" is very active politically and is said to be supportive of Republicans and driving the backbone of right winged and middle of the road Democrats away from the political left. This mind-set was most seen in our national debate and votes cast over the issue of GAY rights. NBC News said what is fueling this shift is the threat against traditional values, the traditional family and our political leaders in DC are under the gun not to go any further to the left. Is America more conservative than we think it is and is the issue of GAY rights a deal breaker for DC getting a vote in Congress and Statehood?
