Psycho Posted January 1, 2007 Report Share Posted January 1, 2007 POLITICAL CORRUPTION IN TRANSITION FENTY & CHEH Probably the two most corrupt political figures in DC city politics today is Adrian Fenty and Mary Cheh who have one thing in common, and that is, they both got heavy amounts of political contributions as a result of the illegal political action committee known as Friends of Joe Sternlieb which is headed by Joe Sternlieb and his wife Linda Singer (attorney general nominee). --------------- Unless the local news media is totally out to lunch or does not care, they should by now have realized they have before their eyes one and possibly two hot stories to start the New Years off with a bang. --------------- One of the reasons voters are avoiding the polls is because of this corruption by our leaders, and the fact the news media whom we rely on to do good investigative journalism and report the corruption has been in recent years limp, succumbs to the profitability of a story and not the public worth. The DC news media lost that edge when the team of Woodward & Bernstein ended. --------------- Corruption in local DC politics flourishes and we have the news media to blame for it because too often, they know about it but refuse to report it.
