Psycho Posted November 8, 2006 Report Share Posted November 8, 2006 THE PEOPLE OF 8 STATES SAY NO TO SAME SEX MARRIAGE Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin have now voted NO to SAME SEX MARRIAGE. Over 40 states now have bans on same sex marriage by either a constitutional ban or law. The GLBT community thought eight years ago more states would allow same sex marriage and never dreamt that what is happening is would happen. It is backfiring on the GLBT community throughout America. The GLBT community was relying on Democratic leaders in Congress to influence their wish for the right to marry but recent surveys show that 40% of all Democrats in Congress oppose same sex marriage.
