  1. Republicans in the McSame camp may not like my attacks, but they tend to forget his Chelsea Clinton back in ‘98.
  2. At least you are not voting for John McCain. The federal deficit will swell to $407 billion in the fiscal year that ends this month. That is more than twice last 2007 total. Congressional budget analysts blamed the surge on weak revenue growth and accelerated spending, including the $168 billion economic stimulus package. They also said the next president could face a $438 billion deficit. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!
  3. Barack spent the morning at Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia today where he hosted a town hall event before popping in on a class to talk to the students. Joined by former Virginia Governor Mark Warner, Barack opened up the classroom for questions from the intellectually-curious freshmen. The topics ranged from interest in Barack's academic background to how he plans to bring politics back to the people. Obama spoke about his college choices, his years as a community organizer, and the moment he first realized he was not going to make it to the NBA. He went on to encourage the students to pursue something in life that excites them and to work hard in order to be successful. Barack left time to speak to the class one on one about their current academic projects, sign some autographs and shake hands on the way out. One student asked Barack if he had any advice to offer young folks on how to "get where he is at." This is what Barack had to say:
  4. The real power is in your vote. Obama will change everything.
  5. Hillary fans will soon realize that Sarah Palin is the direct opposite the Senator. Hillary is Pro-Gay, Pro-Choice, Pro-Gun Control, Pro-Healthcare, Pro-Stem Cell Research and attended Yale Law School. Sarah is creationist Anti-Gay, Anti-Choice, Pro-Gun, Anti-Health Care, Anti-Embryo Stem Cell Research, and a Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism at the University of Idaho.
  6. Barack Obama knows Joe Biden very well. John McCain does not know Sarah Palin at all. This is a gimmick to get votes. That is very clear. I just wonder who really choose her. Maybe Karl Rove? View the video at YouTube.
  7. I cannot witness to a serpent who spits out false truths to the community. It was President Abraham Lincoln that stated "I am nothing, but truth is everything." Obama was picked because he was Democratic Americans choice.
  8. YOU ARE SUCH A PSYCHOTIC BIGGOT MORON! WHY DO YOU POLLUTE THIS CITY WITH LIES AND HATE! NOW YOU PRETEND YOU ARE A MINISTER OF GOD????????????? GO BACK TO YOUR KLAN BUDDIES THAT ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE YOUR WHITE TRASH. BTW... OBAMA IS A CAUCASION/AFRICAN AMERICAN
  9. I wonder if John McCain picked Palin for her looks. McCain's choice highlights that he just doesn't get it. The irony is that McCain has attacked Obama for his lack of experience and then choses one of the least experienced politicians in the United States. Joe Biden will rip little Miss Sunshine apart.
  10. You need to call the Mayor's office to do interviews. (202) 727-2980
  11. I think it is wonderful that the pot smoking Miss Alaska beauty queen supports Obama's Energy Plan. Barack just won the election with that pick. ROFL http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache:wbCGT....ak.us/news.php No. 08-135 August 4, 2008, Fairbanks, Alaska - Governor Sarah Palin today responded to the energy plan put forward by the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, Illinois Senator Barack Obama. "I am pleased to see Senator Obama acknowledge the huge potential Alaska's natural gas reserves represent in terms of clean energy and sound jobs," Governor Palin said. "The steps taken by the Alaska State Legislature this past week demonstrate that we are ready, willing and able to supply the energy our nation needs." In a speech given in Lansing, Michigan, Senator Obama called for the completion of the Alaska natural gas pipeline, stating, "Over the next five years, we should also lease more of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska for oil and gas production. And we should also tap more of our substantial natural gas reserves and work with the Canadian government to finally build the Alaska natural gas pipeline, delivering clean natural gas and creating good jobs in the process." Governor Palin also acknowledged the Senator's proposal to offer $1,000 rebates to those struggling with the high cost of energy. "We in Alaska feel that crunch and are taking steps to address it right here at home," Governor Palin said. "This is a tool that must be on the table to buy us time until our long-term energy plans can be put into place. We have already enjoyed the support of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, and it is gratifying to see Senator Obama get on board." The Governor did question the means to pay for Obama's proposed rebate a windfall profits tax on oil companies. In Alaska, the state's resource valuation system, ACES, provides strong incentives for companies to re-invest their profits in new production. "Windfall profits taxes alone prevent additional investment in domestic production. Without new supplies from American reserves, our dependency and addiction to foreign sources of oil will continue," Governor Palin said.
  12. Former Iowa Representative Jim Leach is one of the few Republicans I trust. It took courage for Jim Leach to break party ranks to endorse Democrat Barack Obama against John McCain for the American presidency. He spoke at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver Colorado last night. Leach’s political career was hallmarked by concern for open government. He championed campaign reform and pressed unsuccessfully for a system of partial public financing of elections whereby small contributions could be matched by federal funds with accompanying limits on the amounts that could be spent in campaigns including the personal resources candidates could put in their own races. In his own campaigns Leach refused to accept political action committee or out-of-state assistance and placed limits on what individuals might give. Today Leach teaches at Princeton and serves on the board of several public companies and four non-profit organizations – the Century Foundation, the Kettering Foundation and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and formerly served as a trustee of Princeton University. If you did not get to listen to his words of wisdom, here is a full text of his speach.
  13. Barack has chosen Joe Biden to be his running mate. Joe Biden brings extensive foreign policy experience, an impressive record of collaborating across party lines, and a direct approach to getting the job done. Joe Biden is passionate, great in debates and a more effective attack-dog than the ruthless, impudent Romney who by most accounts is the front-runner for the Republican VP spot. Joe Biden is a solid, working-class kind of guy who will do well campaigning in places like PA, OH, WV We have our team, but we also have our work cut out for us. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are the leaders who will bring the change our country needs. But they can't do it alone.
  14. This contrast of pictures says everything to me. Special kudos to Politico for putting this together. http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/070...es.html?showall
  15. You are the Joker. Voting for McCain is quite laughable. I bet you would love to have access to his oil buddies checkbooks. 17. The Right wingnuts at Fox news know the truth, but they continue to lie and distort Michelle Obama. Maybe you should watch this video and meet the real Michelle Obama. Thank God that we have more video resources than the major media networks.
  18. View the video at YouTube.
  19. There is no smoke and mirrors that Obama is going to win the nomination. It also shows that the American will to suceed is far stronger than a fat blabbering radio host. Here is pie in your face Rush.
  20. Ladies and Gentlemen, It is over. Hillary Clinton has canceled her morning talk show appearances. She was gracious tonight stating in her concession speech that she will give her full support to the winner of the Democratic nomination. I am sure Barack Obama will look at Senator Clinton's credentials for Vice President closely. There is no way that even including Florida and Michigan that Hillary Clinton can win the Democratic nomination. What a great moment it is for our country.
  21. Ladies and Gentlemen, It is over. Barack Obama has made history by being the first African American Presidential candidate. There is no way that even including Florida and Michigan that Hillary Clinton can win the Democratic nomination. I will never forget this night.
  22. Hey who is that brother behind that pole?
