HAVE YOU BEEN THE VICTIM OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE? http://www.dc2006.net Dear Ward 3 Ladies: I need your help on two matters. In May 2006, I need 250 ladies in Ward 3 who are registered Democrats to sign their name to the ballot petition issued by the D.C. Board of Elections & Ethics so as to put my name on the ballot for the Tuesday, September 12th, 2006, Democratic Primary elections. I need your support because I want to do what no other council member has done or is willing to do. What is that? The fact is 50% of you ladies will sometime in your life be physically assaulted by a boyfriend or your husband. Currently, we have in DC a ZERO TOLERANCE LAW which has been and still is a PAPER TIGER. By this I mean, if a man strikes you, he will be arrested and spend one night in jail and that is all he will face even though he will have to go on trial for it; but just one night in jail is all he will face on the 1st, 2nd and even 3rd offence even if you suffer bruising, a broken nose or rib and cannot go to work for days. If elected as the next Ward 3 City Council Member, I want to immediately propose legislation that will amend our ZERO TOLERANCE LAW that makes it a FELONY for any man to strike a woman with a mandatory jail time of 10 days on the 1st offence, 30 days on the second offence and 180-360 days on a 3rd offence to be followed by a 1 year paroling that requires that the offender attend both anger management and psychological counseling. This is what I want to do for you if elected as our ZERO TOLERANCE LAW sounds great on paper but the reality is, it hasn’t deterred domestic violence to any meaningful degree. Can I get your support? People, There are three real candidates who are truly qualified both in their edicational background and in their work history. These candidates are based upon filing date: 1. Each candidate differs only in a few ways, each candidate is out there on the streets and presenting where they stand on the issues and what they want to do. ROUND 2 of TEAM REES will begin Tuesday, January 3, 2006, with TEAM REES once again going up and down EVERY STREET of Ward 3 putting our flyer on every car window between the hours of 7-11 PM, placing them on telephone poles on every corner and something new we will not going to disclose. Where other candidates put the bulk of their money in an office, office equipment, yard signs and what have you, TEAM REES keeps it simple, we keep it cheap and we do it the way politicians did in the 1950’s and that is, we don’t sit on our asses and expect people to find our candidate, we go to them again and again. Truthseeker, you are Sam Brooks and nothing you have said on your blog is anything new as everybody else has already touched on those issues. Stop cut and pasting from Adrian Fenty s work. If you were a real candidate then you would be doing what your three rivals are and that is, each day you would be knocking on doors which you are not doing. You are the least qualified of all four candidates as you neither have the eduication or work experience needed. If you are going to be taken seriously by voters then start talking about what they want to hear, create a brochure and touch upon the points of interest and hit the streets and break a sweat. Until then Sam, shut up and stop bad mouthing people as your blog sucks, your website is so cut and paste and you have yet to reach people like the other candidates do and surely since you are unemployed you have all the time in the world to do that but alass you have not in three months. SAM BE A REAL CANDIDATE AND COME UP WITH YOUR OWN IDEAS AND STOP COPYING EVERYBODY ELSE!

Leona Gomez A/k/a Miss Glover Park we can easily prove who we are but all of SAM BROOKS aliases cannot and I think this Mr. Smith is right, we cannot move on to discussing issues because SAM BROOKS does not want to discuss issues as that is not what his campaign is about. When Sam Brooks ran last time against Kwame Brown and Harold Brazil, he pulled this same crap. Accept the fact that SAM BROOKS is a lazy guy who thinks people will come to him whereas his three rivals are doing the opposite, they are going to the voters. BROOKS is just mad because my father and the other two rivals of BROOKS have talked, left him out of the discussions and agreed they would not agree to any debate with him because of his reputation of packing the forum with hecklers. It is SAM BROOKS and his some dozen aliases that is obstructing the issues to be discussed but this is what a coward does who does not have a real campaign ongoing and his blog is crap as it does not discuss issues of concern to the voters but is weird at best. All of BROOKS rivals in the coming months will reach the voters in an honest way while BROOKS keeps up his craziness on the net.

Luke, I too recall it. Mayor Williams was on the show, Fenty called in and that is when the mayor went on Fenty. I will call a friend of mine to narrow down that date.

Two reasons why we should not vote for ANDRIAN FENTY or SAM BRROKS ARE: 1. Mayor Williams on WTOP radio accused Fenty, as a lawyer of stealing money from elderly residents of DC, Fenty Admitted it but then said on WTOP but he gave all that money back; 2. Adrian Fenty when starting off his campaign attacked all DC residents who were 45 years and older by saying his campaign were for the young, the future of DC belongs to the young and only the old timers would support Linda Cropp. This attack on older residents of DC was master minded by SAM BROOKS who was back then one of Fenty\'s top dogs. As a result of this attack on the older residents of DC, former councilman William Lightfoot strongly advised Fenty to fire SAM BROOKS for this dumb advise and Fenty fired SAM BROOKS.

You have many aliases Bfrankdc: JT Frank, Frank B, Joe Kerr, Joe Deluth, Dr. B and only God knows what other names you have used. Nobody has any reason to be here and torture us with his hatred for other candidates but SAM BROOKS. So if the shoe fits, wear it. Until you come forth and prove who you really are, I think most will see the similarity in the screen names you use.

Indeed Luke, please do shut Bfrankdc (SAM BROOKS) up and tell us if all of these names he claims are the same do or do not come from the same IP address or computer!

Bfrankdc made a bold claim here that he knows the IP addresses of those who have posted here. The only way Bfrank could have made such a claim would be if he works for DC Pages. If he does not work for DC Pages then all he has said is a LIE. If you check the IP addresses of the people Bfrankdc claims are the same then I think you will have to admit they are not posting from the same IP address or computer. Most have attempted to identify who they really are but Bfrankdc never has as he really is SAM BROOKS posing as many aliases.
