rapmasterjohnny, I just spoke with Lou Chibbaro of the Washington Blade. Mr. Chibbaro stated he had no more information than the two articles his organization published on the candidates. The Democratic primary for the Ward 3 seat on the D.C. Show your sources of this truth. Luke, The only information I have is what has been emailed around by people on both sides of the debate. I did see emails being emailed to many reporters that did contain evidence showing that a Bill Adler was JT FRANK/Bfrank/FrankB, and Lou Chibarro was sent numerous emails as I have spoken of. Possibly he did not get them or they were overlooked on his part. What little I saw does support the foregoing. My take on all of this is, there is no denying that Rees has been taken more seriously in his bid than Brooks has, Rees is being invited to many fuctions by the top organizations that have money, clout and endorsement power and Brooks has not been invited to any of them and I think the fact that Rees is getting treated so well upsets Brooks and his followers and this is why the bulk of the attacks on the net are directed toward Rees. I'd bet that most of these people in the battle are followers of the candidates and not the candidates themselves. If you and I were running for office and you were getting all the attention, I would be angry and try to knock you down with lies, hints and whatever it would take to injure your image. This is what is taking place. Step into DC but ward three and you will see everywhere REES FOR CITY COUNCIL on posters, flyers and the like but nothing out there says "Brooks" and when you add to this Rees is getting superb invites and endorsements and Brooks is not then I and any reasonable person should conclude the attacks are coming from the Brooks Campaign.

REES, SP-1: In 1999, somebody created a website portraying Judge John Bayly, Jr., of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia as a “drunkard” as a comedy website with an actual picture of the judge publicly intoxicated. This website floated around for several months and was brought to the attention of Judge Bayly by other judges who had seen it. Judge Bayly assumed but had no evidence that this man “Rees” had created the website but out of anger, Judge Bayly ordered the arrest of Rees for insulting him on the internet in a website. The matter was referred over to the U.S. Attorneys Office for prosecution. At time of trial, and before Judge Michael Rankin, Assistant U.S. Attorney James Boasberg moved the court to dismiss the charge against Rees on the basis that they had no evidence that Rees had created the website, that the website was not a violation of any law, that the arresting of Rees by Judge Bayly was an abuse of a judge’s powers, was vindictive and that what Rees was alleged to have done if true was protected under the 1st amendment right/free speech. Assistant U.S. Attorney James Boasberg told the court to go forth with a case like this would act as a very dangerous precedent and would in effect abolish the 1st amendment to the U.S. Constitution and he was not going to be a party to a judge (Bayly) who obviously has not respect for such a right granted the people. Why is it as I read all that anybody who disagrees with B.A. A/k/a Bfrank and his other aliases automatically Rees? Doesn't that sound kind of sick? All of these attacks on candidates serves no purpose. A short while ago, Adrian Fenty said he wanted to be our next mayor and then attacked Linda Cropp saying her campaign was only for the “old geezers” of DC and that his campaign and administration would be one for the young and not the old geezers. Fenty was criticized in the media for this. This old geezer mentality is scary to me as a 55 year old man because my years of hard work and paying taxes will mean nothing because I am an old geezer to a Fenty administration. One of the masterminds behind this “old geezer” slur was a Samuel A.C. Brooks who wants to be our next councilman from ward three and at 27 not yet having lived or ever holding down a real job and family shows me that a councilman Brooks would not be good for the people of ward three 50 or older. I am offended that a mayoral candidate and candidate for city council from my ward would make it clear that there is no future in DC for me because of my age. This should offend everyone in this list server as most in my ward who do vote are around 50 and older. Please people never forget that Adrian Fenty and Samuel A.C. This weekend, it was brought to the attention of the Washington Post, Washington City Paper and Washington Blade that the identity of Bfrank, JT Frank, District Information and other aliases used here on DC Pages and elsewhere was a person called B. A., who moderates the Cleveland Park Yahoo group room and evidence was presented that the very same attacks he has placed here on DC Pages under the various "Frank" names was placed in his own group room under his own name. The evidence against B. A. Jr. is with the newspapers. People, wake up. We are all being lied to by a mentally disturbed man who has done this before to other political candidates and he does this to any political candidate he decides to dislike without rhyme or reason.

People, I think we have the wrong Rees. That candiadte Rees is 51 years old (1/10/1954) according to several public records and news releases. The Rees talked about here would be no more than 49 at this date in time. I think the author besmirching Rees, the candidate is probably one of his rivals who is trying to fool all of us. People see it for what it is worth
