MEET THE COMMUNIST PARTY LEADER USA
bfrankdc replied to Psycho's topic in District of Columbia Politics
Interesting Jonathan. I reported in this forum a time when I happened to run into you taping up your campaign flyer: http://www.dcmessageboards.com/index.php?s...st=entry15960 You had access to Martin Austermuhle's photo, as you had posted it extensively already at that point, yet you were still claiming I was one of your political opponents at that time. You cannot claim to have seen me at 4:00 AM on Wisconsin Avenue because 1) I am always asleep at 4:00 AM; 2) I would not be out and about at that hour and 3) I have never seen you other than the one time I reported it on DC Pages. MARTIN AUSTERMUHLE BEING SQUEEZED OUT FROM DCIST

BFRANKDC confirmed to be MARTIN AUSTERMUHLE
bfrankdc replied to Psycho's topic in District of Columbia Politics
I would add that I never said anywhere that I ran into Rees in the middle of the night. Further, I am not Martin Austermuhle. I think Luke Wilbur can confirm that I have never shared an IP address with Austermuhle. B. Frank -

I posted the link for the source. It wasn't the poster you referenced, but another contributor at the Tenley Listserve. B. Frank -

I still don't see a post where that poster makes that suggestion. Rees, can you provide a link? B. Frank -

Maybe it is beacuse I use standard, proper English, to express myself? Once again, please provide proof as you allege, that I have used multiple aliases and multiple IP addresses. B. Frank -

Except I have never done as you suggest, however your posts here over the past 9 months have demonstrated your acute knowledge of same. Once again, please provide proof as you allege, that I have used multiple aliases and multiple IP addresses. You can't, because it has never happened. On the other hand, there is demonstrable and irrefutable evidence of your propensity for this silly behavior. Not so bad if you are in sixth grade, really bad if you hold yourself out to be a public figure. B. Frank -

So you have a gaggle of people at your computer at 11:00 PM, 4:15 AM and 7:00 AM? Right. So, where is that proof of my using multiple aliases? B. Frank -
Washington Post & Times Endorsements

I have never posted under a different name. You have made this allegation before, and I have asked you to provide proof. To date, you have been unable to make your allegations stick. On the other hand, I have proven time and time again that you do have a multiple alias disorder. My claims have been independantly verified by others. I am glad, however that you are admitting that you do post under numerous aliases. Admission is the first step to recovery. B. Frank -

I like the way you assign your proclivities to other people. I have no other screen names. I did do a search for Teresa Conroy on the Tenley Listserve and found this post by someone making the suggestion you assign to Luke20008: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tenleytown/message/5884 B. Frank -

And yet, with that massive support, neither candidate made a dent in the support for Ms. Cheh. By the way, why are you referring to yourself in the third person? B. Frank -
And you will note that Gordon didn't even carry his own precinct 50. A lot of good that did him. I hope Vince Gray proves to be a worthy Council Chair, but I highly doubt he said that Mary Cheh would prove in time to be a disappointment. That would not be a way to demonstrate leadership on the Council, or a way to graciously welcome a new council member who basically won in a rout. I think Mary Cheh's win shows a few things. 1) Someone can run a clean, honest campaign the old fashioned way, door to door campaigning, meet and greets with small groups of people, good showings at public forums and good interviews with endorsing entities and media outlets. The combination of word of mouth and broad media interest was too much for the other candidates to catch up to. 2) That someone can stake out opinions with convictions on issues, while unpopular to segments of the voting public, shows backbone. Mary has promised to represent the best interests of Ward 3, but that doesn't mean catering to the squeaky wheels, as most Advisory Neighborhood Commissions have tended to cater to. I think Marc Fisher said it best, "An easy, dominating win for Mary Cheh, with 46 percent of the vote so far in a nine-way race. That's a powerful endorsement by the silent, pro-development majority against the NIMBYs and suburban wannabes who have fought against transit-oriented development around Metro stations". The sleazy and desparate attempts to discredit and malign Ms. Cheh down the stretch did nothing more than embolden the quiet majority to put her in office in convincing manner. 3) While money is important, it isn't king. Cheh was vastly out raised and spent by both Rice and Strauss. At least Strauss made a respectable showing at the polls. Rice and his campaign seemed more like a characature out of The Simpsons. The outrageous automated calls down the stretch were simply desparate and annoying. Indeed, this sounds more like sour grapes on the part of Mr. Rees, who, much to my surprise, received more votes than I was anticipating. B. Frank

He did better than the cumulative write in votes, so there's that.

A Message From Jonathan Rees To His Online Critics

Rees, You claimed in other listserves that I did do it, and Luke Wilbur has challanged you to show proof. Now you say oyu "think" I did it. Please go crawl under the rock you came from. B. Frank -
MARY CHEH BEHIND INTERNET SMEAR CAMPAIGN?
bfrankdc replied to Psycho's topic in District of Columbia Politics
So this is pretty funny. Jonathan Rees sends an email to himself (the dc20015@yahoo.com is Rees) dc20015 http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/chevy...rce=1&var=1&l=1 Rees http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/chevy...rce=1&var=1&l=1 (note, that these are on a Yahoo Group established to discuss Chevy Chase, the actor, not Chevy Chase, the neighborhood) And then Rees posts this here and elsewhere with absolutely no proof that this person has posted anything beyond her Press Releases for the Cheh campaign. So where are the posts with the same IP address that show words against other candidates? Links? References? Anyone? Since when does Rees care about IP addresses, since he has been dismissive of the proof I had posted on this forum in January, both from the DC Pages IP information and from Yahoo? B. Frank -
A Message From Jonathan Rees To His Online Critics

Human, Exactly how am I the bad guy here? Rees posts a completely inappropriate and offensive image, and you buy the concept that somehow his detractors created it and he posted it without an explanation? He has been doing this for months. Strike that. It has been over a year now, and when you include the completely offensive and racist images presented on the Columbia Heights Yahoo groups as was posted in this forum from 2001, it is a long and sick pattern. Luke, A simple review of other places Rees is still able to post (there are not very many of them) will yield results that would contradict the concept that his computer crashed. B. Frank -
WARD 3 CANDIDATE SAM BROOKS LIES TO VOTERS
bfrankdc replied to Psycho's topic in District of Columbia Politics
Thanks for posting that. I have notified the folks over at the City Paper that the post in question was indeed an impersonation. I also noticed that Rees used bfrank_dc, where my email/login is bfrankdc. B. Frank -
Wouldn't the obvious place to look be Bill Rice, who received the endorsement of TENAC, according to his website? I have better things to do with my time than to illegally enter apartment buildings and advocate against a candidate, who in my opinion, seems pretty good. B. Frank
