It is one thing to speak your mind but it is another when what you say, you know is not true and you are doing it more to harass than to inform or open up a honest and healthy debate. Mr. Marshall and his girlfriend are not being honest. Unless you have been following the progression of this matter, you will see that Mr. Marshall has gone out of his way to make his presence known in every list server he thinks the candidates are going to. Is that healthy or a sign of someone who has nothing better to do than stir up trouble. Mr. Marshall ignored my request to let us know if he was JT Franks, Frank R, Lucy, Phyllis and the others. I asked him that several times but he never answered and that is because he was those people and trying to be coy and his attacks were more than just expressing an opinion but being outright dishonest and vicious in the process. Tell me, when did any of the candidates post vicious and mean things about anyone?

You accused Mr. Rees of slander based upon your not having been at several events whereas the directors of several DC based health care organizations were and heard the same being said. So who are you to presume you have the truth and then go out of your way to call someone a liar which is what you did. Your boss Mr. Daniel Smith has been contacted today and I think others in the health care industry will be doing the same to put a stop to your dishonesty. Unless you were there then never present yourself as having a monopoly on the truth.

My boss Dr. Vivens called to the campaign headquaters of Jonathan Rees to let them know what is continuing to go on here, namely, that Mr. Marshall has been stalking Mr. Rees for months on various list servers and Mr. Rees' office contacted Mr. Marshall's boss VP Smith at the American Cancer Society - Government Field Office (202-661-5700) and they were very upset that Mr. Marshall was using their time to have stalked Mr. Rees for so long in various list servers at their expense and using their email system to do it and said this could result in very bad publicity for the American Cancer Society, that they think Mr. Marshall is a supporter or works for Sam Brooks' campaign which might explain his actions and then they had Mr. Marshall's supervisor get on the line and assured all that they would have a serious talk with Mr. Marshall and put a stop to this. I think Mr. Marshall was operating at the behest of SAM BROOKS, he definitely was the screen names of JT Franks, Frank R, Lucy and the others. Let's hope that we have nipped this at the bud and all will go back to the way it was before SAM BROOKS and ERIC MARSHALL began their vicious attacks on an opponent. Kathleen Kravitz Roddy, RN

From what I saw, your girlfriend responded to a blind ad on Craig's List which Harry posted to lure SAM in and she responded to that blind ad in angry manner. She did not respond to a published name. What was her reason to respond to such a blind ad? Is it that you and her spend most of your days cruising the web. Contrary to what you say, I believe that you are either SAM or working for him as nobody would spend as much time on the web as you do, for the many months you have and focus on attacking someone. Also you never answered the question are you JT Frank or FRANK R as you have avoided this question for over an hour. I believe you are all of these people.

This is a start. However, the e-mail that Shannon sent only went to an e-mail that was setup by somebody who was obviously Sam Brooks, but isn't. The only place that e-mail was sent was to that specific address. So, the angry e-mails that were sent to Shannon accusing her of being Sam could only have been sent by people who have access to the fake Sam Brooks e-mail. Also, according to your original statement that I have quoted here tirelessly you took repsonsibility for having friends e-mail Shannon. One of the people who e-mailed Shannon was Harry Firestone. So, how did you only hear about this from a bcc from Harry Firestone, when you've already claimed that you had HIM send the e-mails? Who did your girlfriend send her email to originally?

Is anybody denying that they are members of other servers? No I don't see them doing it but the truth is, you are online most of the day posting under different names and the fact you have been online for 90 minutes battling out with me instead of working is good as this is going to be faxed to the ACS so they can see that at their expense you are using their time to engage in political battles on the net.

One of these names you mentioned above would have only been known to you from last night if you had been in one of Craig's List GAY DATING ROOMS and you say that you have this beautiful griendfriend? I notice that in the Tenleytown list server, you stated that you were a resident of Ward 6, that you live on The Hill but there is no Eric Marshall registered with the BOEE in Ward 6. You have proven nothing other than you have no reason to be involving yourself in Ward 3 matters. The best thing you can do is stop and maybe everybody else will too.

The American Cancer Society DC office said they do not recognize your name as an employee, field representative or the like but asked to see all the postings you have done in the various list servers because they said some employees do not use their actual name for their email address. Also, the ACS allows email addresses as a favor to contributors so the fact you claim to have one is no proof as you are who I say you are and are being coy. JUST GO AWAY and let this server have health conversations as I notice on the other list servers as far back at two months ago you were attacking people under a similar name.

Memory lane wasn't that long ago. In fact, it was 2004, not 2002. I mean, if you're going to commit libel, at least get ONE of your facts right. You are obviously Jon Rees. Everybody knows that. I do not live in Ward 3, and do not have a stake in who gets elected to fill the seat being vacated by Kathy Patterson. The field hasn't even been settled yet. Hey, you never know, maybe Jon Rees actually DOES have some sort of coherent policy plan that I might agree with. THE WASHINGTON POST Saturday, September 11, 2004; Page A20 The District deserves a better choice for city council than Sam Brooks. Sam Brooks doesn’t come anywhere close in the needed experience overall in representing the city. He is long on energy and ambition but short on community service, and lacks substantive knowledge of the problems confronting the city and ideas for solving them. The council does not need Sam Brooks but someone who knows how the government works, is familiar with the city other than through a political door-to-door campaign and who doesn't need on-the-job training in the basics. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If all of us goes down memory lane to the 2002 at large council race, there was some very ugly postings on the internet attacking Harold Brazil and Kwame Brown originating from screen names similar with the FRANK name in it and in the upcoming 2006 ward three race, the same kind of attacks came out against Rees with the same but this time under the screen names JT Frank and Frank R. Who had a reason back in 2002 to viciously attack Harold Brazil and Kwame Brown and in 2005 Jonathan Rees with identical screen names in many forums? Right Sam Brooks. Out of fairness, DC Pages should see the reality that Sam Brooks does not come before the voters and present what he has to offer but to repeat what he did in 2002 thinking smearing people is the way to win an election.

I think the people of Ward 3 want to hear from all candidates to our city council. I heard from Nancy MacWood who said she might run, I am not impressed with her and the fact that she appears late often at her own ANC meetings, she is abusive and obnoxious to others and I would not vote for her. I heard from Jonathan Rees, saw his website, seen his campaign literature all over the ward and I am impressed with him. Now I want to hear what Sam Brooks has to say and offer before I decide who to vote for next year. This is what the people want to hear and see not these attacks!

I think this JT Frank which I doubt is his real name should explain to us why he has gone from list server to another hunting down Rees, attacking him with unfounded claims and state what is his reason for wanting to annoy all of us, make us think Rees' campaign is over when it is clearl thriving and I'd bet there is some personal hatred for Rees stemming either from something in the past or he is being asked to do it by someone wanting to run against Rees as there is no logic.
