  1. The main aim of life You are admitted in the college and your main aim is to get the degree. If you fail in the exams your main aim is upset, therefore, you should not get tension. Similarly you should have tension if the main aim of the human life i.e., to achieve the grace of God, fails. Except that, all this family life and relationships are only extra curricular activities. In your college life, a game is conducted as an extra curricular activity. Suppose you are defeated in it. You should take it sportively and not seriously, because that is not the main aim. Therefore take everything in life sportively, because, this life is not the ultimate aim. If family life only is the goal, even animals and birds have their family lives. The speciality of human life is to think and achieve the grace of God. 2. The devotee who serves the Lord without aspiring anything in return is very fortunate Devotees, who detect the hidden God in human incarnation, are really blessed because they are going to be infinitely benefited by their service to the Lord in human form in His divine mission. But they should not aspire for any fruit for their service. If they aspire for the fruit, it shall be given by God based on the quality and quantity of the service here itself. In such case, God has no obligation for the devotee in his cycle of deeds. The reward here is unnecessary because any fruit in this world is not eternal and there is alternative way of self-effort to achieve the fruit here. Moreover, when you ask God for the fruit, it is accounted and paid according to the standards and extent of your service. But if you do not aspire for the fruit, God will use His grace to save you in the upper world where there is no alternative. Moreover, in such case, there is no account and the grace of God becomes infinite to be used for any requirement to any extent. Hence, the devotee who serves the Lord without aspiring anything in return is very fortunate. Jesus tells that a person purchased a land by selling all his property and he found lot of treasure in the land while cultivating it. He is the devotee who sacrificed his entire worldly work and wealth for God. A person who refused to purchase the land beyond certain rate lost the treasure because he mistook the human incarnation as an ordinary human being. A blind beggar recognized Jesus as God whereas the priests who are not blind could not recognize Jesus. Jesus tells that blind see and those who are not blind are not seeing. Jesus compares the fortunate devotees who recognize Him to the seeds thrown in the field because such seeds (devotees) are covered by soil (God) and are protected. The seeds, which have fallen outside the field, are eaten away by the crows. This means that the people, who did not recognize the Lord and went away, are punished by the messengers of the hell.
  3. People misunderstand Son of God (Human Incarnation) When God enters the soul and body of His most beloved devotee (son of God), such devotee is called as the human incarnation. In the human incarnation, we find both God and Son of God mixed with each other in a perfect homogeneous state so that both are inseparable like the wire and the current in the live wire. The wire is the Son of God and current is God. The live wire is the human incarnation. The live wire must be treated as the current and there is no alternative way to experience the existence of current. In this context, the misunderstanding arises. The live wire says that it is moving the fan. Infact, the current is speaking this through the wire. People misunderstand that the bloody wire is boasting about itself as itself moving the fan. The live wire looks like any other wire as far as the properties of the wire (metallic nature, leanness, etc.,) are concerned. This makes other wires to think that the live wire is also an ordinary wire without current, which is boasting about itself. This confusion lead to the crucifixion of Jesus by the public. When Jesus claimed that He is the truth, the light and the Father of the heaven, this claim was not from the Son of God, but it was from God Himself. But, the observers have misunderstood this statement as that of Jesus. When the speaker is invisible, the mike looks as if it is speaking by itself. Here, at any time the speaker is not converted into mike or the current is not converted into wire. The two units exist separately even during the time of the human incarnation in which, both are homogeneously mixed to form a single phase. If this point is realized, Jesus might have escaped the crucifixion. It is this point, which is stressed by Mohammed. He said that God would never become human being or the vice-versa. This does not mean that the Son of God should not be treated as God in the human incarnation by the devotees. If you deny this assumption of treating the Son of God as God, the devotees become dissatisfied because they prayed God for the experience of God and service to God. Then the very purpose of the human incarnation is lost. Mohammed clarified this concept to avoid the danger. But, His followers misunderstood that He denied the very concept of human incarnation. Thus Buddha and Mohammed should be taken as the preachers who warned about the reality of the concept to avoid the danger of loosing the highest fruit and punishing the human incarnation respectively.
  4. Proof of True Devotion Jesus was killed by His children on the cross. Jesus said ‘Revenge is mine.’ His revenge is not to kill them, but to kill their ignorance. His most powerful weapon is infinite love. If you love Him, He will allow Himself to be loved by you so that at last, you will find that you loved yourself by loving Him. Similarly, if you deceive Him, He will allow Himself to be deceived by you and atlast, you will find that you deceived yourself by deceiving Him. Your real love is proved only by money. You love your children truly. Therefore, you are giving your money to your children. Similarly, if you love God you will give your money to God for God’s work. This is the practical fire-test of your real love. Prayers by words and meditation by mind are just like the pickles (side dishes) in the plate. The sacrifice of a part of the fruit of your work (money) and the sacrifice of a part of your work atleast, are the central bread in the plate. Both these two parts put together is called as divine service. Without this practical divine service, there is no use of mere prayers and meditation. Without divine service, if you offer only prayers and meditation to God, you are offering Him a meal-plate with only pickles and without the central bread. When He eats only the pickles, His stomach burns and He becomes furious. This is the reason why He is not answering your prayers and meditation in the absence of service. Ofcourse if you are incapable of sacrificing your money towards His work, atleast sacrifice your work for His work. If you are really incapable of sacrificing both these, then alone will He accept your prayers and meditation, because you cannot do anything more than that. In such case the pickles offered by you will become pieces of sweet fruits and He shall answer your prayers positively.
  5. Comparison of Religious Scriptures All the religions preach that one should withdraw from the family bonds and develop bond with the Lord. The Hindu scripture, Gita says that one should withdraw from the family bonds as a tortoise withdrawing its limbs into the shell. This is something like coming from 'Plus' to 'Zero'. But Holy Jesus says that one should hate the family bonds and even one's own life for the sake of the Lord. This is something like coming from 'Plus' to 'Minus' through 'zero'. The common points are that one should leave the family and get rid of the selfishness. Then the person should attach to the Lord. This is the common point in both the religions. But the message of Holy Jesus is stronger than the Hindu Scripture. This is the specialty of Holy Jesus. If you come to 'Zero' there is a possibility of going to 'Plus' again which is very near to 'Zero'. But if you come to 'Minus' which is far from 'Plus' there is no chance of going to 'Plus' again. If you simply withdraw from the family bond there is a danger of reformation of the bond. But if you hate the family bond there is no possibility of reformation of the same bond. The specialty should not be exposed in the beginning itself. Hindus will be hurt. The common point should be exposed first and then only you have to show the specialty in course of time. This is the talent of a divine preacher only. He will introduce the spiritual knowledge into any human being in this world and He alone knows the divine techniques. Similarly, a Hindu preacher who wants to show the specialty of the Gita over the Bible should expose the common point first and then only expose the edge of his scripture over the other. For ex: the Bible says that God comes again and the Gita says that comes again and again whenever necessary. The common point is here the re-human incarnation. The edge of the Gita over the Bible is that God comes in every generation to avoid the partiality to one generation. Swami appreciates both of you (Christian and Hindu) since you have conveyed your specialties without criticizing the other religion. Now the work of Swami starts in correlating these specialties also due to the difference in the receivers of knowledge. The foreigners in the time of Jesus were having strong family bonds and minus was necessary to keep them in zero. Its effect is seen even now in their weak family bonds. In India, such strong bonds did not exist and zero was sufficient to keep them in zero. Relatively, the family bonds in India are looking stronger than those in foreign country due to these different backgrounds. Regarding coming of Jesus again, He comes in the end for every soul to enquire since there is no re-birth in Christianity. In such case, there is no meaning in saying about the coming of Lord again and again with reference to a particular soul. But in Hinduism, the re-birth is believed and the coming of Lord again and again is taken with reference to even the individual soul. Infact, there is no human re-birth even in Hinduism since the spiritual concept is always universal. It is misunderstood in Hinduism because the human re-birth is true in a special case showing the omnipotence of the Lord, which is unfortunately generalized. The human re-birth is generalized in Hinduism and therefore, the seriousness of the spiritual effort is diluted in the human life. The coming of Lord again and again is to be understood with reference to humanity in general because the Lord comes in every generation to avoid the partiality to a particular generation. Even if one argues about the human re-birth with rigidity, there is only one golden chance in one human life only in which, the soul recognizes the human incarnation. Therefore, we can say that there is no golden human re-birth for any soul, which may be taken as the absence of human re-birth. This proves that there is one God for this entire universe, who taught the same spiritual knowledge with slight differences due to the different contexts of the receivers. 3) When you preach Hindus or Christians in this way you have to remain in the corresponding culture only, though you are beyond every religion. Due to this external culture, the preachers are repelled and cannot associate with others. If you adopt the external Christian culture the Hindus are repelled and vice-versa. Now the program of Swami is to teach the basic one message of Holy Lord to the entire world. The main purpose of this program is not to change the culture, which is only the external cover. Since such a change is only external and artificial, that is only the change of culture. Religion does not mean culture. Religion means spiritualism. If the spirituality of a person is according to the message of Holy Jesus, such a person is only a true Christian and if the spirituality is according to Holy Krishna, such a person is a true Hindu. Swami does not want to change Hindus into apparent Christians and Christians into apparent Hindus. Swami wants to change Hindus into real Christians and Christians into real Hindus. Infact, there is no conversion at this inner level because a real Christianity and a real Hinduism are one and the same. The word ‘real’ indicates spirituality, which is the common golden wire in any religion. Any human being belonging to any religion is born as a copper wire only. The inner copper wire should become the golden wire. There is no use of changing the color of the external plastic cover while the internal copper wire remains as it is. Whatever may be the color of the external plastic cover the internal copper-wire should be changed to become a golden wire. This is the real conversion. In India and in any foreign country, only the external conversion is taking place. Hindus are adopting the Christian culture externally for the sake of some materialistic benefits. When they come home they follow their own religion and spiritualism, which is theoretical meta-physics only. Swami wants to change the internal core of Hindus who are highly corrupt and have become selfish in practice. The practical aspect of the spiritualism is totally missing in Hindus. The theoretical knowledge is in climax. Therefore, there is a very strong necessity for introduction of Holy Jesus to Hindus. Holy Jesus is the only strongest medicine in India to bring practical spiritualism. Hindus are preaching a lot. But their practice is zero. When Swami Rama Thirdha was giving spiritual discourses in Unite States of America, people asked, "Why Indians are so low in spite of such high spiritual knowledge?" Swami Rama Thirdha replied "Our Hindus preach philosophy. Foreigners practice philosophy. Therefore, Hindus are low and foreigners are high in the spiritual levels". Swami Vivekananda wept facing the sky asking "Oh! Lord! Why this India with such a high spiritual knowledge is suffering with poverty?" The reason for this is that Indians never practice the philosophy. They never sacrifice money for the work of Lord. They sacrifice lot of words (prayers) and lot of mind (meditation). Lord comes in the same route as we approach Him. The Lord blessed Indians with good pronunciation of language, good devotion and good knowledge. But the Lord gave poverty to India. Hindus are selfish and store wealth for generations together and never donate for the spiritual work. Foreigners ask even their children (the first generation) to go out and earn after certain age. This is the reason why Swami always appreciates and loves foreigners. Swami always criticizes Hindus for the same reason. But for this reason Swami is impartial to any one. Swami is the universal preacher. Swami replied like this when some Indians asked Him for the reason to always scold the Hindus and to always praise foreigners in this aspect.
  6. Love to God is tested by money Today money is the real instrument by which only one can test the real love. If somebody donates money for the sake of Lord's work, he has the real love to the Lord. Everyone gives money to his family because he has the real love to his family only. This is the fire test in which the real color of the love can be seen. Holy Jesus said that the heart of anybody lies there only wherever his money lies. Holy Jesus criticizes the rich man only when he does not sacrifice. His criticism of rich people applies only when the money is stored for selfish purpose even after acquiring the minimum needs. Earning money is not a sin. Infact one should always work and earn the money. But storing money is the sin. Therefore "earn and sacrifice" is the real spiritual aim. Ofcourse in the case of saints all their work is dedicated to the Lord only and they have sacrificed even the family bonds completely. Money is another form of the work, which is the fruit of the work. Therefore, it is the same whether one sacrifices his money or work for the sake of the work of the Lord. The work of the Lord is only to uplift the entire world in spiritual line. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward (Hebrews 10:35).
  7. Lord tolerates anything, even things which damage His personality When the bonds with wealth, children and husbands or wives are fully broken, salvation is complete. Even Lord Jesus patiently suffered all the negative criticism and all sorts of insults to protect His devotees. This shows the divine love of Jesus. Jesus kept silent in the court when He was charged with so many crimes. The silence shows His deep love towards His devotees. Due to such silence alone did the judge order crucifixion. Unless the crucifixion was implemented, He could not have suffered for the sins of His devotees. Thus, the Lord tolerates anything, even things which damage His personality for the sake of His devotees. Due to the crucifixion, devotees misunderstood Jesus and criticised Him as incapable. Here, the firm faith of the devotees was tested.
  8. Testing the Devotees Lord Krishna or Datta tests devotees by exhibiting bad qualities. Several devotees misunderstood Krishna for this dance and thus the depth of their faith was exhibited. Lord Data came as a human incarnation in Punjab by the name Ramlal. Ramlal stayed in a village and attracted all the devotees by His divine knowledge and miracles. When He was finally leaving the village, all the villagers followed Him stating that they could not live without Him. They said that Ramlal was their very life and entire love. Then Ramlal stood for sometime and smiled. He asked the villagers whether they could accept Him as the husband of their wives. Ninty percent of the villagers scolded Him and returned back. Only ten percent accepted the statement of Ramlal and followed Him sincerely. Ramlal was extremely pleased with them and gave them full divine knowledge and assured them that He would protect them always. The word ‘husband’ in Sanskrit is translated as ‘Bharta’ which actually means the maintainer and protector. Ramlal used the word in that sense. But people took the word in another sense and were misled. The egoism of the husbands was touched. They boasted of their extreme love for Ramlal and that they could sacrifice anything or anybody for the sake of Lord Ramlal. Ramlal knew exactly the item, which they could never sacrifice—their bond with their wives. Thus, Ramlal exposed the hypocrisy in devotion. He used the word in different sense and tested their faith and sacrifice. The only protector and maintainer is the Lord. Thus, the Lord is the only husband for all the souls in this world. The difference between a male and female is only in the external gross body. The soul is the same in the gross body of a male or female.
  9. Wrong philosophy of Osho Some devotee from USA asked Me to analyse the philosophy of Osho. I think that Osho pleads for freedom in the love of even married human beings. He pleads that secret contacts are wrong. He says that even illegal contacts should be frankly spoken out. This concept is wrong in two stages. In the first stage the illegal contact itself is wrong. In the second stage, when the other partner [whose partner has cheated on him or her] comes to know of the illegal contact, the other partner undergoes unimaginable agony. To do a sin is one mistake. To hurt the heart of any human being is another mistake. It is a double sin and such a soul, whether male or female will be punished twice in hell. According to the old ethical scripture of Hinduism, a red-hot copper statue of the person with whom the illegal contact was done is placed before the sinner and he or she will be forced to embrace it. The attitude differs from one culture to another. The villain stole Helen of Troy. Helen led a family life with the villain. When Helen returned back, she again had a normal family life with the hero. But when Ravana stole Sita, Sita did not even look at Ravana. Therefore, there is a vast difference in the cultures of the East and the West in the root itself. I do not criticise or praise any culture. But even Jesus did not agree to any such illegal contacts of any married human being. He criticised even prostitution. Thus, the field of Pravritti is one and the same in view of God, whether it is East or West. Therefore, this again proves that God is one and the same.
  10. The proof of devotion Shankara says that knowledge and devotion are not separate (Paramartha Jnana Lakshana Sampannam Bhaktim). Therefore, it means that complete knowledge means complete devotion. The proof of devotion (love) is only service as you can see in the case of your children. Your love on them is expressed only through service to them. In their case, there is no theoretical love. You are not chanting the name of your child, you are not singing about your child. All these forms of false devotion appeared only in the case of God. I say it is false because there is no sacrifice or service as found in the case of children. Therefore, devotion itself means service Therefore knowledge; devotion and service are the three alternative words for the same meaning. Shankara preached about knowledge. Ramanuja preached about devotion. Madhva preached about service. This means that Shankara, Ramanuja and Madhva are the three incarnations of the same Lord Datta. Thus if knowledge is intensive and complete, you have reached the goal as said by Shankara. The Lord praised the knowledge at the very outset in Gita. Therefore concentrate on the divine knowledge and propagate it so that all other souls also reach the goal along with you. These questions are very important in the sense that the elaborate answers for these questions constitute the entire divine knowledge I have preached so far! The answers given here are very brief, touching some main points only.
  11. Sacrifice is the essence of the whole path to reach God. Knowledge means preaching others and not to know by Himself. Love means loving others and not to be loved by others. If you love others, others will love you. So loving is the characteristic property of love. Bliss is giving happiness to others and not to be happy. Knowledge, Love and Bliss are the characteristic properties of Datta (God), which contain the sacrifice. By these three qualities only, you have to recognize the human form of Datta. Datta means sacrifice (donation). Sacrifice (Datta) is the essence of the whole path to reach God. 1) Sacrifice of work (Karma Sanyasa) and 2) Sacrifice of fruit of work i.e., money (Karma phala Tyaga). Both these put together are called Karma yoga (service). These are the two eyes of God. Without these two there is no use of prayers, meditation etc., which are only the sacrifice of words and mind only. Lord gives you His grace and that grace is nothing but the fruit of the service in the above two ways. So whenever God shows grace on some person people should understand that such grace is the fruit of service of that person only. Lord is giving your own fruit only from His pocket and His own fruit. You can earn this fruit only by your service and which is deposited in the pocket of the Lord. Lord does not give this to anybody simply by praise or expression of feeling or weeping or begging. He is impartial and cannot be prejudiced or fooled. He is the cleverest judge. You cannot fool Him by praise (Kaka) or by expressing feelings (artificial love) or by weeping (Kindling His Kindness) to any extent. Never weep, never beg, never praise Him and never do any other type of worship. Serve Him in His work without aspiring anything in return.
  12. Delay in suffering Q) Suffering is the fruit of our previous sin, but why Lord delay the suffering, which sometimes do not make the soul understand that it is because of the particular activity that he is now suffering, in that case he may still do the old sin again? Ans) If there is a possibility of the change in the soul by immediate suffering of the sin, God certainly grants the punishment here itself immediately after the sin. When such hope is absent, God postpones the punishments so that his short span of life may be free so that one day or other, he may digest the divine knowledge and transform. The human life is very short and also is very rare. Let this short human life be engaged in the service of God with out any disturbance. If punishments are given immediately, no time is left to serve God and please Him. When the examinations are near and if a student is to be punished for a crime, a good principal postpones the enquiry to a day after the examinations so that the little time leftover may be properly used. After the examinations the student has lot of time to face the enquiry and under go the punishment. This shows the kindness and best administration of the principal.
  13. Experience of Parabrahman What does Parabrahman (God) mean? It means something, which is other than Brahman. This word does not directly tell us anything about the nature of Parabrahman, since it is impossible to know Parabrahman. Sages have indicated Parabrahman by negative analysis, which means, discarding every item of the creation (Neti Neti—The Veda) [as not being Parabrahman]. The reason for this is that all the Vedas and the Gita say that Parabrahman is so unimaginable that we cannot use even the sentences like “It exists” or “It does not exist” (Nasattat Naasaduchyate—The Gita). In that case, why can’t we say that the Parabrahman does not exist at all? Since Parabrahman gives us experience regarding its existence, we have to say that it exists. But we cannot say what It actually is (Asteetyeva—The Veda). How is this experience given? The unimaginable Parabrahman enters an imaginable item of the creation, pervades all over it and identifies with it, so that Parabrahman’s existence has to be accepted. We see only the external imaginable item and its characteristics. Since the information regarding Parabrahman Itself and Its characteristics is not available, we have not known anything about It. It remains unimaginable and yet It gives Its experience to us. It is like the invisible electric current giving its experience through the visible metallic wire. Through which medium does Parabrahman give Its experience? It gives Its experience through the human incarnation. The various mediums through, which Parabrahman gives Its experience are: 1) The pure awareness, which is called as the original Maya (Suddha Sattvam or Mula Maya). 2) Energetic forms like Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva 3) The material human form made of the five elements like Jesus or Krishna or any other human incarnation.
  14. A poor peon- A begger- Deceased rich man A poor peon is the greedy fellow in the previous birth, who earned wealth for generations through businesses and corruption without any sacrifice. A beggar searching for money is a person, who wasted the money in lavish manner by giving to undeserving people. A life long deceased rich fellow is a rich person in the previous birth, who spent all the earnings for his selfishness only. At the Lotus Feet of His Holiness Sri Dattaswami Anil Antony www.universal-spirituality.org Universal Spirituality for World Peace
  15. Doing service to God in whatever way you like is not correct Dr. Nikhil asked: How to avoid attention towards bliss? People are attracted to bliss and not to God, if God does not give bliss to them. Swami replied: Veda describes the concept of bliss in the AnandaValli. Certainly you must discuss about the subject of bliss. You must avoid the attention of attaining the bliss by yourself. But you must concentrate on the service to God that gives bliss to Him. This means that doing service to God in whatever way you like is not correct because God does not require your service in any way like a human being. One has to render the service in whatever manner God likes it. The service should be for the pleasure of God and not for the requirement of God because God has no requirement. Even pleasure is not necessary for God because He is the infinite of ocean of bliss (Naanavaaptam… Gita). He is only testing the devotion of the devotee regarding its quality and magnitude of intensity. God always asks the devotee to sacrifice the item with which he has the strongest bond. If the devotee succeeds in this test, God is not pleased for attaining that sacrificed item, but God is pleased for the love in the attitude of total sacrifice towards Him. For example God came in disguise to Saktuprastha ( a devotee), who was without food for several days along with his family in severe draught. In that situation the strongest bond will be naturally for food to save the life. He got somehow a little food and he was ready to eat it along with his family. God came in human form to test him. The guest asked for the entire food to eat. Saktuprastha gave the entire food and proved that God is more valuable than life. The human form of the God in such situation with such extreme abnormal behavior gave a hint about God. Here, God is pleased not due to the food offered by him since God has no hunger. Here, God is pleased only towards the attitude of total practical sacrifice through this incident.
  16. Definition of Sin A soul is beaten in the hell and the servants of Yama say “why have you done this deed which is not liked by God?” They will not say “why have you done this sin?” Anything that is not liked by God is a sin. By itself a sin is not a sin, because it is a feeling, which is a wave of awareness and is completely unreal. Hurting any soul, especially a believer in God is the basis of sin according to God. Punishment with an attitude to change the soul is exempted from this concept. There should be no trace of revenge in punishment. If the soul is realized and changed, do not think of revenge. Jesus told that if you punish others for their sins, God shall punish you also for your sins. Punishment of a student by a teacher is not a sin, because it is for his change and upliftment only. The same aim exists when God punishes the souls. The Lord says in the Gita that the divine Knowledge alone pleases Him (Jnaya Yajnena…). He says that it is greater than Svadhya yajna and Dravya yajna. Svadhyaya yajna means simple recitation of hymns without any enquiry into their meaning. Dravya yajna means sacrifice of wealth. But the Gita praises that sacrifice of wealth or fruits of work (Karmaphalatyaga ...) is highest (Dhyanat Karmaphalatyagah…). There is no clash here. Dravya yajna represents sacrifice of wealth to undeserving or improper receiver or putting wealth in fire which is foolishness as stated by Kapila in Bhagavatam. Donating to temples based on the statues is climax of foolishness because the priests and management are not even the scholars of the Vedas and Shastras. The priest is for his livelihood like a labourer and the management spends for unnecessary items and wastes the wealth due to lack of complete spiritual knowledge. The Government is taking that wealth and is using for social services, which are to be done by the public revenues only. The statue is not enjoying even an iota of your wealth. The temple should be a place of propagation of divine knowledge and devotion. The scholars and devotees should be maintained by such donated wealth to prorogate about God. But theses temples have become business-centers to solve the problems of devotees. Ofcourse, it is inevitable in the beginning stage (Sarvarambhahi…Gita) but the propagation of right divine knowledge should be the main program of temples, which should be run by scholars only.
  17. Do not use emotional slogans in spiritual path…. An atheist should not become a theist just for food, money, the job offered by you or the professional education offered by you to get a job. Such conversion is not real and permanent. Do not kindle emotions by showing or explaining the story of the crucifixion of Jesus. Do not kindle the attraction towards the physical appearance by showing the beautiful pictures of Krishna etc. Such means used for conversion are not real and permanent. The conversion of mind or heart is not real and eternal. Do not attract a person in problems by offering solutions through prayers and songs or by using the super powers of God for solutions. The faith developed by such ways will not stand forever because God will not always answer the prayers, songs and crying with tears. People become addicted to such ways. The child will weep every time for a chocolate, since it is habituated to that path. The child intensifies the process of weeping if the chocolate is delayed! Initially the child is attracted by chocolates to go to the school for some days. The child has become young person but did not cross the first standard of the school, because the child concentrated only on the art of weeping to get the chocolates. The person became a postgraduate or even a Ph.D. degree holder in the course of begging and weeping for chocolates. The person became an exceptional scholar and developed several talents in praising the Lord, crying for the Lord, singing and composing music on the Lord, doing meditation and concentration on the Lord with his mind, chanting the Lord’s name millions of times, writing the name of Lord millions of times, chanting some letters (Beejaksharas or mantras), drawing some design or diagrams on metallic plates (Yantras), doing worship following certain special ways of [occult] technology (Tantras) and so on. These discoveries and developments are tremendous and as many as the developments in science and technology! Ofcourse, all these are good psychological ways of solving or treating certain psychological problems in patients with fixed notions to give mental relief from stress and gain confidence. All these ways are good, if the person is free from aspiration of any fruit from God in return [for such actions]. Such love is real. But the real love is expressed in terms of the sacrifice of work and the sacrifice of the fruit of work as seen in the case of your love for your children. If such practical expression exists, all the above theoretical expression of love through words and mind can be associated as a plate of meals is associated with a glass of drinking water. Therefore in propagating the divine path, you should appeal to people only through knowledge, logical analysis and a systematic scientific approach. Avoid all the above means, which are theoretical and political ways of exploitation of one’s weakness. God is certainly above science and logic, because He is beyond creation and nature. But God always follows the ways of nature, which are logical and scientific, following the path of justice. In a rare and exceptional case, He uses His superpower, which is also not against justice. He suffers for your sin and thus the justice of the wheel of deeds is always upheld by Him even in the exceptional case of the use of His superpower.
  18. Lord is the Greatest Scientist Maya is Deeper & Deeper Logic If you observe the logical design and scientific management of this creation, you will say that He is the greatest scientist. He will never violate His own rules of nature and science which is His very psychology. The superpower (Maya) is also a deeper stage of science (Prakriti) as said in the Gita (Mayamtu prakritim…). A wonderful design with a logical plan (Maya) beyond our imagination exists as the basis of this nature, which is understood by us superficially (Prakriti). When you go deeper and deeper into science, the logic continues but at a stage, your capacity to understand it fails. That does not mean that logic vanished at the deeper level. The capacity of your intelligence to grasp that deeper logic alone has vanished. Maya is not the failure of logic but it is a deeper and deeper subtle logic, which can be understood only by God, who is the greatest scientist. Logic and science continue in a more and more subtle way but the limits of the grasping power of humans end at that level. A schoolboy cannot follow quantum mechanics or wave mechanics which is dealt at the postgraduate level. The schoolboy says that the subject is beyond logic. According to a foolish student, there is no logic in that topic at that level. This is not true. His capacity to understand the logic of that level failed. That does not mean that the subject dealt at the postgraduate level is without logic and that all postgraduate students are beyond logic! More and more revelation of divine knowledge comes out from God, as your capacity or grasping power increases. God will not reveal the higher knowledge if your grasping power is low, because you will then say, that God is beyond logic, which means that God is mad. You should say that God is beyond your level of logic. God is quite logical at His level. The gap between your level of logic and His level of logic is called ‘Avyaktam’ or unimaginability of logic, which is the unbreakable ignorance. The Veda says the same “Avyaktat Purushah Parah…”. The Gita also says the same “Maam tu veda na kaschana...” Scientists say that they will reach the level of logic of God (Maya) by tomorrow, but that tomorrow always remains as a tomorrow. Scientists are egoistic due to their jealousy at this point, because they cannot accept God as greater than any scientist. When Einstein presented his paper on the Theory of Special Relativity, no scientist understood it except Einstein himself. But all of them respected Einstein. Then, why don’t they accept and respect God? A miracle done by the Lord is only a demonstration of the existence of a deeper level of science or logic. Just like conservative religious followers discard other religions, conservative scientists discard the miracle as magic or illusion, because [according to them] nothing should exist beyond their level of logic. For a school student of physics, a sophisticated electronic instrument is also magic or an illusion because he cannot understand the level of science pertaining to that instrument. The uncertainty of Heisenberg should also be magic or an illusion in that case. All the great scientists believed in God, because of their lack of egoism and jealousy towards a greater concept. Therefore, you should convince anybody only through logical and scientific analysis. That alone, can bring out the true interpretation of all the universal scriptures; any other emotional or exploitative methods can never do that. Only then invite people to participate practically in this divine mission, which alone can please the Lord. My dear devotees! I love all of you from the deepest level of My heart. I also like to wash the feet of all of you, as Jesus did on His last day. I would like to wash the feet of all of you with My tears of love and gratefulness for your faith that you have shown on Me. Never fall into the clutches of egoism. Aspiration for fame is also a partial effect of egoism. People will praise you as Gurus. Immediately pass on all the credit to God and take the defects onto you. God will be pleased with you.
  19. Asking Lord for Devotion Some people pray God to grant them with eternal devotion. You think that such people are greatest devotees. But I say that they are the cleverest. If the devotion is eternal, the subsequent protection from all the problems is inevitable. They show the climax of intelligence in asking such boon. They like to have the Railway engine which is linked with the whole train. In this boon, I am unable to understand one keen point. The devotion, development and maintenance of the devotion are responsibilities of the devotee only. God can never interfere in that. Will a girl ask a boy “Make me to love you”? It means that the love does not exist. Will the girl say “See that my love on you continues without failure”? It means her love is not real and fears in its failure. A real lover loves God spontaneously and retains it under any circumstances. The love should come from the side of the devotee. God cannot give the devotion so that a soul loves Him. Then it looks like a politician bringing public by paying them to clap during his lecture! God will not put His finger in devotion. Instead, God opposes your devotion to see its strength. God gives knowledge which is the generator of devotion like the fertilizer for the sprout from seed. The knowledge also acts as pesticide to kill the bacteria and worms which are the doubts. But the knowledge given by God is also in the form of general concept only. Satguru will speak about the importance and identification of the human incarnation, but will never say that He is the human incarnation. Devotion is based on personification. Krishna can say that one should find out the real form of God to worship. But He cannot say that He is the real form of the God and that He should be worshipped. He never told like this to anybody in His lifetime. Ofcourse, He revealed Himself to Arjuna, who was an exceptional devotee being His closest associate (Nara) during several previous births. Even to Arjuna, He said this only once, during the time of preaching the Gita, which was a necessary occasion. Even Jesus told that He and His father are one and the same. But He disclosed this to a very few deserving devotees only, who were as good as Arjuna. The devotion should be generated when the knowledge is complete. Similarly the answer in the examination should be generated if the study was perfect. If you are asking devotion from God, it is just like asking the answer from the teacher in the time of examination. If you get devotion and if it is proved real through service, the grace of God falls on you spontaneously. Similarly if your study is perfect, you must get the correct answer and if it is proved correct in the valuation, the degree falls on you. Some people always aim at the attainment of eternal bliss as the final goal of all the spiritual effort. In such case, they are not the real spiritual people. If ordinary human beings are like small thieves, they are the big robbers. An ordinary person desires for a materialistic boon, which is certainly temporary and gives a drop of bliss. But this fellow wants the entire ocean of bliss. The Advaitin wants to be God so that he can enjoy the eternal bliss. He does not mind to leave the Lordship on the world. He knows that anything is only aimed to get bliss. He says that he is simple awareness. But the simple awareness is not having bliss. In the meditation, simple awareness without any thought is possible. Such state is giving peace but not the bliss. Only the service to God is giving the real and eternal bliss. But the service of God is full of sacrifices which are like thorns in the path. In such sacrifice also, the bliss continues in the heart of a real devotee. Such divine service is the aim of all the spiritual efforts and not the bliss which is the climax of selfishness.
  20. Ocean of World Devotees often pray that they should cross this ocean of world. What is this ocean? Does it mean this physical world which is made of matter, awareness and inert energy? No. The world here means the worldly bonds which are just your strong feelings of mind. The drama is neither the stage, nor the dress nor the actors. The drama means only the story, dialogues and actions. Therefore, the drama means only the activity of mind and does not have any physical sense. Such worldly bonds with your human form and some other human forms (family) constitute the ocean of the world, which you have to cross. God also comes in the same human form and competes with those worldly bonds. God will not compete with the worldly bonds of every soul, because He knows that He will be utterly defeated without deposit in the case of almost all the human beings. If He wants to have a real bond with soul, He should be born as the family member of the soul. Then only He can achieve the real love from any soul, being its family member. Dasaratha, Nanda, Kausalya and Yashoda etc., loved the Lord as their son but not as God. If God comes in human form, which is not related to the human being in anyway (as son or father or brother etc.), God is sure to lose His deposit in such competition. In such competition if God wins, you are blessed. Hanuman is not related to Rama in anyway. He does not belong to the family or caste or even the race (humanity) of Rama. But Hanuman was the top most blessed soul of God. Hanuman left His beloved mother to see Rama. Rama did not give such highest fruit to any relative.
  21. Without eligibility, God will never give anything to anybody at any time. In the Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna says ‘Bahuni me...’ i.e., ‘Several births have passed for you and for Me. I remember all of them but you do not remember.’ Sometimes the Sadhana (spiritual effort) done by a devotee during this birth may be little. Yet God shows a lot of grace on that devotee. The reason for this is the penance done by that devotee during his previous births. Even that devotee forgets the penance done by him. Other devotees, who are doing a lot of penance to God in this birth, become jealous of that devotee. They do not know that their penance done in this birth is far less compared to the penance done by that devotee in his previous births. The wealth of a person should not be decided by looking into his current account only. His fixed deposits, which are like the fruits of the penance of his previous birth, should also be taken into account. Only the Lord can see these fixed deposits; ordinary people cannot. Swami Vivekananda came to Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa for the first time. Paramahamsa took him into a room and placed a sweet in his mouth and wept with folded hands. Vivekananda could not understand this and was confused. Paramahamsa was the incarnation of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna together. Vivekananda was the reincarnation of Arjuna and he did not remember his previous births. But Paramahamsa remembered all the previous births. The other disciples could not digest this and became jealous of Vivekananda. Once, Satyabhama kicked Lord Krishna on the forehead by her left leg. Yet Krishna pressed her feet stating that her foot might have been pained. This looked very odd for all the other devotees. They thought that Krishna had become a slave of her beauty. Any external beauty in this world cannot attract the Lord. Only the internal beauty, which is the sacrifice and love, attracts Him. Satybhama was the incarnation of Goddess Earth. She was bearing the violence of all the demons that were strengthened by the boons of God. Thus she was tolerating God indirectly. She was tolerating the feet of all the living beings upon her. She is the other name of tolerance. Even though the Lord killed her son Narakasura, she had kept silent. Infact she had helped the Lord in that war. She had crossed the wheel of ‘Anahata’, which is connected, to children. Nobody could have more tolerance than the Goddess Earth. God knew all this background. Without eligibility, God will never give anything to anybody at any time. But the devotee must take the first step towards God. The necessity is for the devotee. The Veda says ‘Aptakamsya’ i.e., ‘God has attained everything and there is nothing which He has to achieve’. You have come near the sea with a pot. You should take a step into the water and make an effort to fill your pot. Then the sea moves in to fill the pot with its water. Therefore human effort is necessary even in the case of God. When God is in human form, He is bound by the manners of humanity. The properties of human body co-exist with divinity. The electric wire has both the qualities of the wire and electricity. Giving an electric shock is the property of electricity. Being thin and lean is the property of the wire. The property of the wire is clearly seen by the unclothed eye. Similarly the properties of the human body of God are clearly seen by people. As people misunderstand the live electric wire to be a common wire without electricity, the human body of God is also misunderstood to be that of an ordinary man. As the electric current is not seen, the divinity in the human form of the incarnation is also not seen. But whenever a necessity arises, the electricity becomes intensive in the wire and heat is radiated out. Similarly the divinity in the human form exposes its divine qualities like Jnana (knowledge), Love, Bliss and miracles whenever necessary.
  22. How to recognize Datta in human form? How to recognize Datta in human form? He performs miracles. He gives blissful knowledge because he is both bliss and knowledge. He quotes from all the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita because He Himself spoke the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita, which are the Word of God. He treats this entire world as His family. He always tries to uplift all living beings. He is the embodiment of love and kindness. The incarnation of Datta is filled with all these divine qualities. Do not decide a person as Datta by miracles only. Even demons and devils perform miracles. Do not decide an ordinary scholar as Datta just because the scholar can give knowledge by quoting the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita. The knowledge of Datta gives bliss. The bookish knowledge of a scholar cannot give bliss. A scholar can explain the Veda and the Bhagavad Gita based on the meaning given by another scholar. These scholars cannot grasp the actual view of God present in the Veda and the Bhagavad Gita. The Veda says ‘Brahma vit Brahmaiva…’ In this sentence the first word Brahma means the Veda. The second word Brahma means God. The meaning of this sentence is that God (Datta) alone can give the real meaning of the Veda. So, only Datta can give the real interpretation of the Veda and the Gita. Such real knowledge is called Prajnanam. The fourth great sentence (Maha vakya) says that by such Prajnanam, one should recognize Datta. Such Prajnanam is the characteristic property of the internal form of God in the incarnation. The first three great sentences (Maha vakyas) say that the external form of God is like me, you and him i.e. like an ordinary human being. Foolish people think that God is an ordinary man by seeing the external human body, which follows all the rules of the nature. The Gita says the same ‘Avajanantimaam Mudhah…’. The aim of God in such a human body is that He wants to suffer by taking the sins of His devotees in a real way. He will not suffer really if his body is beyond the rules of nature (if He comes in a divine body). If He took a body that was above the rules of nature, it would amount to cheating the deity of justice. Another aim of God in coming in a human body is that all the other people, who are not devotees, should not be able to recognize Him. If all recognize and follow Him, the drama of this world gets disturbed. He came only for His devotees and not for all. Only His devotees had prayed for Him. Only strong devotees can recognize Him. He will not allow weak devotees to recognize Him by deliberately talking or acting negatively (Maya). Generally people are not interested in recognizing God in human form due to their jealousy and egoism. One in thousands tries to recognize. One among those recognizes and reaches Him. This is told in the Gita as ‘Manushyanam...’
  23. Why I am not declaring Myself as Present Human Incarnation At the time of departure to Bombay, Mr. Antony asked Swami “Why don’t you declare yourself clearly that you are the present Human Incarnation”? Swami replied “Buddha did not speak even about God and therefore, there is no question of the topic of the human incarnation. Therefore, Buddha was safe. Mohammed denied the concept of human incarnation and declared Himself as only the Messenger of God. Any body can be become Messenger and therefore, Mohammed was also safe. Lord Krishna emphasized on the concept of Human Incarnation through out Gita, but Krishna told that He is the Human Incarnation only to Arjuna and not to any other person. Therefore, Krishna was also safe. Jesus told that He is the Human Incarnation by telling that He and His Father are one and the same. He told this to many people and this news spread everywhere. This statement is in Bible and Bible is His message given to the public. For this statement He was brutally killed. Now, if I state the same in the present time, crucification may not be there due to improved legal atmosphere, but people will laugh at Me and will say that I am mad and should be admitted into a mental hospital. Of course this does not mean that I have accepted and stated that I am the human incarnation. Assuming that I am the Human Incarnation I am telling this. Let this not be taken as My declaration. This only means no human incarnation will declare himself as God after the crucification of Jesus. Since then God is terribly afraid of such declaration. Therefore, even if I am the real human incarnation I will not declare it. If I am not the human incarnation I should not declare it. Therefore, in any case I cannot declare this. The identification of human incarnation is the most complicated subject because of several hurdles in it. The first hurdle is that people are generally affected by the egoism and jealousy. A human being never likes to accept another human form as God. Even if some human being conquers his egoism and jealousy and accepts it, it is only temporary. It is impossible to smash the egoism and jealousy. You can only reduce them temporarily. When Krishna taught Gita, Arjuna accepted Lord Krishna as the Lord, but just after eighteen days, Krishna asked Arjuna to get down from the chariot. Arjuna was reluctant because he expected Krishna, the driver, to first get down and then only the charioteer shall come down. It is the question of prestige of a charioteer in presence of soldiers. Just in eighteen days the egoism and jealousy grew in Arjuna and he forgot Krishna as the Lord. By eighteenth day he treated Krishna as driver only. Therefore, only one in thousands will accept the very concept of human incarnation for this reason. Even if one accepts this concept, he likes to limit it to the past dead human incarnations only. Unless one conquers his egoism and jealousy completely, one cannot accept the present human incarnation standing before his unclothed eyes. Therefore, only one in thousands accepts this concept of present human incarnation and starts to search for the address of the present human incarnation. This is told in Gita as “Manushyanaam Sahasreshu…”. Thus this verse refers to the devotees who are searching for the then human incarnation. This verse does not refer to the devotees who search for God because several people are theists and investigate for God. This verse says further “Kaschit Maam Vetti…”. This means only one in such devotees can identify the present human incarnation. This means though you have conquered your jealousy and egoism and though you are searching for the existing human incarnation, there are several hurdles before you identify the present human incarnation. What are these hurdles? As I told the first hurdle is your own egoism and jealousy. You may say that you have conquered them and therefore you are investigating for the present human form of Lord. Though you have conquered, your victory is only temporary. They are the two sleeping snakes in your heart. They will rise at any time and bite you. Therefore, you must try for a permanent conquer and thereby to destroy them forever. Then only the first hurdle is removed. Assuming that you have destroyed them, before you reach Him still there are several hurdles. The priests of the temples, the preachers of ethics and puranas and Scholars who preach the philosophy are the hurdles. They will not allow you to proceed, who wash your brain on the way. They are against the present human incarnation. If you reach the present human incarnation, they will loose income and fame from the devotees. They are earning money and fame by singing the glory of the past human incarnations. In fact, while Jesus was alive these people were His main enemies and the reason is very very clear. People started following Jesus who opposed the collection of money in the church. These people killed Jesus who was obstructing their income and fame. Even after the death of Jesus these people misinterpreted the statement of Jesus that He will come again. Jesus meant that He would come again and again in every human generation to give the same divine opportunity to every generation because He was the impartial God. If this meaning is accepted their income and fame will be obstructed in every generation. Therefore, these people misinterpreted the meaning of this statement by saying that Jesus will come only at the end of the world. When the world is destroyed even if Jesus comes, there will no problem. By this interpretation they have cleared their way of business till the end of the world. The followers are also congenial for such misinterpretation because of their inherent egoism and jealousy to accept the existing human incarnation. Therefore, there was a co-operation from both the sides. Assume that you have passed this hurdle also. The next hurdle is false human incarnations that will trap you for the same reason of income and fame. Of course these false incarnations are based on the will of God only. He tests your scriptural knowledge by which only you have to identify the real human incarnation. They are just like the wrong answers present in the multiple-choice question. The same examiner who gives the right answer creates the wrong answers also to test the power of your discrimination. The discrimination results only if you digest scriptural knowledge with perfect logical analysis. Then only you can eliminate the fraud incarnations like wrong answers. Poundraka Vasudeva was such false incarnation, who looked like Narayana wearing the same dress and the same weapons. Krishna was not having the same dress since He was having His own special peacock feather on His head. Instead of weapons He was carrying on a flute. Both these are not with Narayana. The main identification of Lord Krishna is only Gita. Veda says that the Lord is characterised by His own special divine knowledge, which cannot be preached by any other human being in that generation (Satyam, Jnanam…., Prajnanam Brahma). These fraud incarnations are like the artificial diamonds, which resemble the original diamond in many properties. The artificial diamonds glitter with seven colours just like the original diamond. But, the refractive index of the original diamond is very high and a scientist can only identify it. The false incarnations also preach knowledge. But the power of the knowledge of the real incarnation is very very high. Your self aided by your intellectual logical faculty (Buddhi) can only be convinced and get cleared from all the doubts only by such special divine knowledge (Prajnanam….). One person who was very close to Me posed a big problem through a question. He told Me “I have analysed your divine knowledge after hearing the knowledge of several divine preachers. My inner self is completely convinced by your knowledge only. This means you are the human incarnation. I doubt , you have given such procedure to Me by which the result falls on yourself only”. Then I replied “I have given you all the procedure as given by the sacred scripture, Veda. I have also given equal position to your logical analysis before accepting that procedure. The scripture along with logical analysis gives the correct result. If the result falls on Me, what shall I do? Shall I change the Scripture? Shall I say that there should be no logical analysis? To avoid Myself as the result, shall I say that the person who does not convince your inner self shall be the human incarnation? You can put your logic and if there is a logical question on the analysis of the scripture, I can answer that. If you are convinced by all means, I cannot help it”.
  24. God is Unknowable In the beginning Brahman (God) was One and alone. Only Brahman knows about Brahman and this is the meaning of the Vedic statement, “Brahmavit Brahmaiva Bhavati”. But this statement is misinterpreted and people say that “He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman”. This is not the correct meaning because the Veda says that Brahman cannot be known by the senses, mind, intelligence or logic (Yato Vachah, Nachakshusha, Apraapya Manasaa, Namedhayaa, Naisha Tarkena etc.). The Gita says “Maamtu Veda Na kaschana”, which means that no body knows Brahman. The reason for this is that Brahman is beyond space. The imagination or intelligence of any human being cannot cross the three dimensional space. Therefore, no human being can imagine Brahman, which is beyond the space. The space was produced from Brahman as said in the Veda (Aatmanah Akaasah). Unless the space is dissolved, one cannot perceive or imagine Brahman. Unless the pot, which is the effect, is dissolved, its cause, which is the lump of mud cannot be imagined. When space dissolves, the creation also dissolves and no body remains to perceive or know Brahman. The authority for such incapability of human beings is the Veda and the Gita. Now, the atheists may say that that which cannot be known might not exist at all. For this, the Veda answers “Astheetyeva Upalabdhavyah” which means that Brahman makes the people know its existence, if not its details. How? It is done through the human incarnation. If this is not done, all the human beings will be atheists. The human incarnation exhibits certain things, which are beyond our imagination, thereby indicating the existence of that Brahman, which is beyond imagination. Such exhibition is necessary for the atheists and this is the main aim of all the super powers of the human incarnation. There is no need of such exhibition for any theist. Some scholars argue that there is no referrence of human incarnation in the Veda. It is not correct. The Veda says “Ajayamaano Bahudha Vijaayate” which means that the Lord, who has no birth, is born through several forms. The Veda also says “Tadeva Anu Pravisat” which means that Brahman entered the world as an individual soul. Some scholars have misinterpreted this text also, stating that it means that Brahman entered the creation in the form of all living beings and not as the human incarnation. Such interpretation is wrong because the Veda says that a human being is born from the food derived from the plants (Annat Purushah). The plants are modifications of the five elements. Brahman cannot be born from food. Therefore Brahman created the inert universe and the living beings in the beginning itself for entertainment. On seeing the cinema of creation, Brahman was not satisfied and therefore entered the world as a specific soul, which is the human incarnation. Moreover the Gita says that the creation (Prakriti) is of two parts. One part is the inert nature called as Apara. The second part is the life called as Para. Prakriti means creation. The Para Prakriti means the best part of the creation.
  25. The spiritual knowledge or philosophy (Vedanta) is generally based on logic (Tarka). God is certainly above the logic and thus logic cannot touch Him (Naisha Tarkena -Veda). Nobody can show God by the indicating finger. Veda clearly states that God is beyond words, mind, intelligence and logic and the best way of explanation is silence about God. If that is so, there is no necessity of spiritual knowledge, because God cannot be known or imagined. Then what is the use of all these scriptures? Why are there so many discussions and debates? Lord Yama says in Veda that angels and sages are still discussing about God and have concluded that God is unknowable. Here unknowable means unimaginable even to the logic. They have not conducted such long discussions to know simply that God is unknowable because it is not the object as my friend says! If God is said to be unimaginable, what is the subject of discussions? The answer is that the logic used in long discussions is not about God but about the Non-God entities (items of creation). Certainly, we cannot know God by logic or by any other means, but we can use the logic to reject a Non-God item projected as God. When you say that awareness is God, we will use the logic and see whether awareness is an item of creation. If it is an item of creation, certainly it can be analyzed by logic. If logic fails to analyze it, certainly we will accept it as God. Similarly we shall apply the logic to several entities rejected as God and see whether any item is beyond logic. The logic is the analytical faculty supported by practical examples, which stands as experimental verification. The ancient Indian logic was developed based on practical examples like mud pot etc. The advancement in logic took place from time to time and the logic was more and more sharpened. The authoritative parameters (Pramanas) have improved in number and therefore the schools of Nyaya, Vaiseshika and Vedanta differed in the subject of logic. The number of Pramanas increased from 2 to 4 and finally became 6 in Vedanta. This shows the improvement of logic in course of time. Today science is the most advanced logic since the experimental verification was improved. Therefore if I am explaining the philosophy based on science, it means that the philosophy is more and more clear due to the advanced logic. I told you already that the logic (science) is only useful to refuse any item of creation as not God. The creator cannot be any item of the creation. If creator becomes creation, there must be some other creator for this creator to become the creation. Ad-infinitum (Anavastha) results. Science disproved some conclusions of the earlier logic and this should not be misunderstood as refusing God. God is in no way touched because the earlier logic also was dealing with only the analysis of created items. Tarka means the analysis of the items of creation, which are indicated and understood by their corresponding names or words (Tarkyante Padarthah Asminniti….). God is beyond all the words and cannot be the understood meaning of any word and therefore, logic cannot touch God.
