People migrate to improve their economic status by getting into high salaried jobs, establishing industries, involving themselves in highly profitable business activities and developing agriculture. The constant immigration of rural population into urban areas has resulted in the mushrooming of shops and other commercial establishments in all localities.
Such a situation leads government. While the cost of labor is very high in the city centers, the rural migrants are willing to take up difficult jobs at a fraction of the cost.
