The second annual performance of Bach’s masterwork is offered by the Cathedral Combined Choirs and Baroque Orchestra, under the direction of Michael McCarthy. One of Bach’s most intensely personal works, this dramatic piece features soloists Robert Petillo (Evangelist), James Shaffran (Christus), Amanda Balestrieri (soprano), Carrie Stevens (alto), Philip Cave (tenor), and Bobb Robinson (bass).

The afternoon will begin with a free pre-concert lecture by the Rev. Canon Michael Wyatt at 2:30 pm in Perry Auditorium. The concert follows at 4 pm in the nave.
