Psycho Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 CARY SILVERMAN vs. JACK EVANS for WARD 1 In the local DC races this year, most of the incumbents will probably go on and win re-election easily except in the ward 1 city council race between incumbent Jack Evans and Cary Silverman. Both Evans and Silverman are out there, their presence is felt and seen, and it will be interested to see them debate the issues. Over the years Jack Evans has done a lot of good for ward 1 and DC but of late, he has been wrapped up in a scandal or two, made decisions that have pissed off a lot of his constituents and it will all boil down to whether or not the voters have had enough of him. This will be the more interesting races in DC to watch. Quote

Last time I checked, Jim Graham was the Ward 1 Councilmember, and Jack Evans-Silverman were contesting the Ward 2 seat.
