Zodiac Hurricane H1100 OB MACH II Wins Coast Guard Contract

Zodiac has specified its newest Hurricane design, the MACH 2,TM to meet the needs of U.S. Coast Guard Boarding Teams. Six 11-meter MACH 2 RIBs, capable of speeds above 60 knots with three 300 hp outboards, will become the Special Purpose Craft-Boarding Team Delivery (SPC-BTD) vehicles for Coast Guard MSRT teams. The MACH 2 features comprehensive shock-mitigation technology, including a fully-suspended, integrated dual helm that moves with pilots. 6 SPC-BTDs will be delivered over two years, providing the Coast Guard with an extremely swift boarding vessel.
