Millions of dollars and decades of developer time have gone into the maturation of OpenACS. OpenACS is one of the most active open source projects in the world. WashDC allows members to comment on pages (using the general comments package of OpenACS), to tag pages in del.icio.us style and create folksonomies and to provide user-tracking (show user, which pages he has visited last or which are the most popular pages).
