Urban-City.net is a social urban networking site that allow artist to sign up and create a free personal profile. Members can create and upload blogs, music, videos, and pictures. Those that are not artist can also sign up to rate photos, videos and music. Urban-City.net is open to all styles of R&B, Gospel, and Hip-Hop music. Our goal is to create platform for new artist, poets, film/TV producers, models, comedians, to get exposure and build a world wide fan base. We are shooting a pilot in the coming weeks for a Talent competition/ reality show called Big Break for a major DC affiliate station. The show will be similar to American Idol and Making the band. The pilot will also be shopped to other major networks such as BET, & TV1. So if you think you have what it takes to be the next Mary J. Blige or the next Jamie Fox. Send us an email, and tell us a little bit about your music aspirations, along with a picture. If you dont have a picture, that's fine. At a later date we will email you the time and location in regards to the auditions. We are trying to put the DC Metropolitan area on the map musically, and you could be the one to do it. The pilot will be the first episode of eight episodes, so this will be awesome exposure for all singers looking to break into the music industry. If you are an artist under that's under contract with a production company or an indie record label, please don't respond. You have to be free of all contractual obligations. Registration fee TBD.
