Okay ladies, I got a song on my HEART!!! and I have to let this testimony GO!! I, like many of you searched the internet in hopes to find solutions to our hair issues. In my case, I have very thick, yet resilent hair and I couldn't stand having to style it everyday. Also, I recently relocated from the midwest to Maryland (hence the name) and although going home to the Hair Capital of the World to get your weave done is a bit extra... I was almost willing to book that flight. I came across Valencia's site, read this message board, emailed her my questions. I was concerned about the process taking my hair out, will the hair blend with my hair, will it shed, WILL I HAVE TO KNOCK OVER A 7/11 TO PAY FOR IT? :sigh: Valencia answered my questions, and made me feel confident that she knew what was doing. I called my hair supplier back in Detroit to ship me my usual and I made my appointment. First visit: Not only was my hair BANGIN when I left, I just couldn't wrap my mind on how inexpensive it was. I was paying folks like Cool C, Sonia M. and Mr. Little (Detroit hair moguls) about the same for a full head sew in... I was loving life! But.... After seeing Valencia's stylist, she noticed my hair was shedding, I belived it was totally all my fault and I was prepared to take responsiblity for it all...WITHIN 24 HOURS OF GETTING UP FROM HER STYLISTS CHAIR, VALENCIA CALLED ME AND HAD ME COME IN FOR A RE-DO... Now ladies, ask yourself, when was the last time your beautician called YOU?! Come to find out, the hair that I swear by from home is treated and does not work well with the bond. I have only gotten sew ins in the past and never had a fusion tecnique done, so I had no idea. This time, I ordered my hair from Remy Hair Today and was ready to rock and roll. ...That was back in late September early October. Since then I have permed my hair, color rinsed my hair, and have noticed almost a half inch of growth. I have not noticed any shedding. When I want it super straight, I take out my ceramics and flat iron it (stay away from the bond of course). When I want to wear it wavy, I braid it up before I go to bed, I never have to worry about the wind blowing to hard! I just got my hair done over, yesterday this time I did the curly remy... and frankly.. I look PAINFULLY good. Seriously, it's almost embarassing how well my hair looks. So, in conclusion... I am proud to say, that I am a REGULAR customer of Valencia's, and anyone who looks at me in disbelief when I tell them "thanks sweetie, but it's not mine", or ask to dig in my hair to "see it" always asks for Valencia's number. Now if that's not a testiment to good work, I don't know what is. You got a client for life Valenica. Much love, Shileta
