    The Minni-Thins’ first full-length album, In Black Cause I Asked, was released in June 2005 on the Vibrating Needle Recording Collective. Produced by Jeff Perholtz (of The Newbees), it has been met with positive reviews both nationally and locally. Continually playing live shows, they have toured as far west as Colorado and as far north as Wisconsin. The end of the year saw The Minni-Thins garnered with a Cincinnati Entertainment Award for best Indie/Alternative band in the Cincinnati area for 2005.

    The Minni-Thins posted a topic in Rock

    2006 proves to be a great year for the band. The Minni-Thins have been invited to play SXSW in Austin, TX, sometime between March 15-18. More details will come. The music of the Minni-Thins is best described as fun indie rock in the vein of the Vaselines, Beat Happening, Pavement, and the Pixies, with the occasional grandeur of Spiritualized.
