We believe the low turn out rate in primaries and general elections is caused by many reason but mainly distrust by the public in their elected officials and a feeling that their vote does not count as elected officials are out for themselves. In other parts of the world, people are executed, intimidated and denied a right that we Americans take for granted and we won't appreciate this precious right until one day we don't have it or have it on a very superficial basis.
