POSTING A NOTE FOR VALENCIA Dear Everyone, As many of your know, hairbyvalencia is one of the specialist that we work with and she does all of our pretipping and the custom textures for our hair along with having many of her own clients. I just wanted to let her clients and ours know that her family is going through a rough time right now due to her mother's illness. NEW AND EXCITING THINGS HAPPENING AT REMYHAIRTODAY.COM WE started a myspace page which has been getting alot of notice, so we accidently forgot to drop an update here! For those that do not know in the last 6 months we have added skinwefts, closure pieces, lacefront wigs, and frontal pieces! It took use several months to find a maker that would work with use the way that we wanted our wigs to be. If you have any questions please feel free to email me! We have some pictures of some of the custom units on our picture gallery page! We are adding new items all the time! Keep an eye out fo new items all the time!

I of course would love to be a part! With the little ones it isnt always easy to do things of this nature however, but I will of course try my hardest to be there. If not I will make sure you have plenty of sample product and other items on hand! Just keep me posted of when you are thinking of having the show.

NEW AND EXCITING THINGS ARE ON THE WAY!!! We have now started the process of hand making closures for our clients. As we get closer to having them for sell, I will notify those on the list first and then post an announcement. We also are proud to announce that we now have two color specialists that will dye your hair for your. STARTING DATE: TO BE ANNOUNCED. We are still working out the details for this. I still need to figure out how much time will be added to the delivery time for this. Both of our color specialist work on either my own hair or on my mother's hair. They have a good eye for color. This will not be an option for someone that needs their hair right away because our color specialist take coloring very seriously and want to be able to provide good quality service. We are also excited to announce that we will soon be selling skin wefts. Starting sale date: TO BE ANNOUNCED. Skin Wefts will be in virgin Indian hair. I will have more information about pricing right before the offical release date. If there is a demand, then we will also carry skin wefts in Virgin Chinese hair. We will not be selling regular chinese hair, however through alot of study, we have found that when it comes to skin wefts apparently virgin Chinese hair is supposed to be the best. It is an option that will be available for those that are interested, but we will not sell any other type of chinese hair. This will only be skin weft and only if there is interest. We are also very close to having a hair dress creme to go with our moisturizer. This creme will be for those that have natural hair and do not want anything water based to spray on their hair. Especially if they do not want to flat iron their own hair. It will be available in the same scents as the spray. More information about this will be announced in a two weeks. Thank you!

Actually if you had sent me an email, you would see that I have links all over the place for DC messages boards. Not only are the threads listed in every email I send, but it is a part of all three signatures I use in answering emails, Thanks. Also it is listed in Several spots on the Remy hair today forum Which has all the important bits of information the hair or stylist in areas. The boards get quite a bit of traffic just from the emails I send to people, the reason i know this is because when the boards were down, I got emails about how my links did not work.

I personally think there needs to be more focus on this. There is a reason that more states are pushing to make sure that people who work on hair are certified. Even proper training does not promise you that the person will be knowledgable in how to do all types of hair or how to treat a problem that your hair might have or more importantly recognize when your own hair has a problem and when you should not get a process done on your hair. I can personally tell of several of my clients that have had not only their extension hair ruined but also their real hair damaged. We are finding that some stylist have no clue how to correctly do hair extensions with Virgin Remy Hair. I know some people are looking at trying to cut cost on getting their hair done, but one of the reason you invest in a great stylist is give you not only a better chance of getting your hair done right and well, but also that if there IS a problem, that stylist will be able to save your hair and correct any problem you have. I know there are uncertified people that do wonderful work, but I feel that they take a big risk in doing hair without being certified. Certified stylist are even being sued now a days when people have problems with the process or the style.

Please remember that if you do not post an email as a contact when you write on the message boards, and you have not created an account, then it is impossible for anyone to be able to send you a message to answer your question or to provide you service. Valencia is in the MD/DC area and she has alot of clients that come in from all over the country to get their hair done. Her daughter (who was trained by her and is an excellent fusion specialist) also does fusion in the same area. NEW and EXCITING THINGS AVAILABLE THROUGH REMY HAIR TODAY!!!! What’s New? (so far) The Remyhairtoday Forum We are now offering two types of hair. In addition to the more ethnic Indian hair, we have added a more european blend of 100% virgin Indian hair for the caucasion women. The different hair is kept in a completely seperate location, so there can be no mistakes or confusion on the hair going out. To carry the silkier hair, we added another location that will be handling that. On occassions we may have special offers of small quanities of 100% virgin hair in special colors such as blondes, browns, and reds. Since we only get a small quanity of these special colors, when available these will be listed on the Remyhairtoday.com/forum. This hair will be sold to the highest bidder on a first pay basis. Look for these special postings. There has been alot of interest in this because it will be 100% virgin hair that is not dyed. Keep in mind though that the hair is still 100% virgin hair, so you can dye the hair if we do not have the color you are looking for. We will still try to get as close to the color you are looking for as possible, but remember it is natural hair. We are now offering a moisturizer that we use on our (personal) extensions and weaves. It is wonderful, it keeps the hair moisturized while you wear your weaves and extensions. It is only $5.00 for 4oz bottle. A little bit goes a long way. More new items to come!!!! Have questions? Hi! I came across your post this evening. I do not do fusion myself, however I do sell Virgin Indian Remy hair. I also know that this hair works very well on fusion. The hair I sell is 100% virgin. Our hair is full of body and is pretty thick in nature. I actually have some pictures of some of my hair used to do fusion. The fusion was done by Valencia and it was styled by Reniece.
