  1. Hello Valencia longtime no see. I saw a picture of a young ladies hair and it is beautiful!!!!! I have been busy with relocating and marketing my business and I am very tired. I see you have a lot going on and if you need any assistance let me know. Thanks, Shiry
  2. Hello ladies, Have a Merry Christmas and and prosperous New Year!!!! Shiry
  3. Hello, my name is Shiry and I would suggest one of two things: A hairweave, Valencia has info on her. The reason for the hairweave is because your hair will take a break from any sort of stress. Or you can purchase a wig. Hair fusion will allow for some of the natural hair to be exposed. There is no stress on the hair from hairfusion. But since you are natural those are the two choices you have. Shiry
  4. Hello ladies, I am happy to hear that a lot of you want to apply the extension service on your own, . Think about this, if you were to have an accident where you needed stitches, would you try and put your own in? Stylist are like doctors we are prescribing you with free information on these services. Good luck on your hair services ladies. Shiry
  5. Hello ladies, I have used hair from Camille and it is awesome. After I applied the extensions we proceeded with a style and it came out beautiful. It looked just like her hair. We also colored it so it is truly awesome. I would reccomend Camille, she is down to earth and very knowledgeable. If you don't believe me visit my fusion gallery. Shiry
  6. Hello ladies, it's me Shiry and I am letting you all know that Valencia has been a prayer to me. She has hired me for the Texas area. So if any ladies need fusion or weaves of any sort give me a call or email me. Feel free to check out my website. Shiry
  7. Dear God, you know when you hear things that people say about not proceeding with manufacture's instructions, it sends chills up and down your spine. I am apologizing to hear of your horrible experience. First the neutralizer stops the relaxer from continuousl working on your hair. And yes, you were right wanting conditioner on your hair because a phbalanced conditioner will bring your hair back to it's original state. Your hair is in shock after a chemical, and I am sitting in awe as to why they did not follow professional procedures? Listen, you can still get a relaxer, just be careful as to who applies it. Make sure you use a relaxer that is moisturizing, prefererably shea butter. Do you have a sensitive scalp? When you go for a consult, make sure you ask, and look at the stylist's hair first. Shiry
  8. Well, I am truly apalled @ what is out on the market for clients. I agree with Valencia, viewers do not take it upon yourself to try a chemical, hair extension, ect procedure @ home. Many manufactures will sell the product to you true, but they also state that it should be used by a licensed professional. I know that I do not want to be a celebrity on one of those small claims court television shows. Some individuals take what you say and twist it around. Then they look for someone to blame. Helen, you know as a professional that people love pointing the finger. I have nothing against people doing hair out of their kitchen, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Are you saying that if a kitchenticean called you and asked how to do one of the services you provided you would give that info? We as stylist have to protect ourselves and our profession. It has nothing to do with pulling anyone down, or not wanting to share. To me it is common sense to protect yourself and others who want to associate with you. I am aware that you are doing someone famous, but think about your license and the law. There are a lot of ladies that have ruined their hair and run to us to fix it. This is what makes our jobs hard, correcting mistakes that could have been prevented. I know that you may be good at what you do, but protect yourself. Shiry
  9. Hello, it's me Shiry and I was so glad that somebody had Valencia's back. i agree 100%, no hard feelings but Valencia had this baby and she has done a great job with answering questions. For any future stylist out there, please go to the source and ask PERMISSION, not jump HEAD first and bump heads with others. I am not trying to be sarcastic or mean, I just feel the same way the other viewer did. Shiry
  10. Hello Jessica, my name is Shiry and I live in the Hearne, Texas area. I don't even think my town is on the map. I have been to your website and your work is beautiful also. My address is lnsofhearne.com and my email is Shirilyn@yahoo.com. Thanks, Shiry
  11. Hello, my name is Shiry and I would recommend Valencia. She is very reasonable, just email her and she will get back with you ASAP. Shiry of L&S Hair Designs
  12. Thanks Valencia. I am aware that you have a lot of post to reply to thanks for getting back so soon. Shiry
  13. Sorry, I reread your post and you said you had a slight wave/curl. I have a chi iron/BBflat iron. they are both temperature regulated (400 degrees farenheit). I have used different products on different people I use either hot six oil, or ultrasheen satin press. I use it sparingly. Not a a whole lot! To much will mean lifeless and limp. I also use Biosilk silk therapy. Like I said different products for different client needs. Without actually seeing and feeling your hair, I really couldn't reccomend from my end. Maybe Valencia can. Good luck! And last...... I am aware that the hair fusion in your area is quite expensive, but for future reference you want to consult a professional extensionist before, during and after your service. Even if you have to travel (Valencia) it is worth it. It is hard to recomend and give hair consults without actually seeing a picture or providing a service for yur hair. Valencia is very reasonable and knowledgeable. Good luck! Shiry
  14. Hello my name is shiry and I have read your post. What kind of bond did you use? Was it polywax or keratin protein based? Polywax cannot withstand alot of heat and the keratin based can withstand some heat. If you were blessed with african american hair was your hair ever relaxed from root to ends before the fusion process? What kind of flat iron do you presently have? Is it ceramic plated inside and out? What kind of oil are you using on your hair? Shiry of LNS Hair Designs
  15. Thanks for the comment Valencia, and ladies help is on the way. Keep your head up! Shiry
