Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery

DCpages is proud to join the Smithsonian Institution in celebrating the grand opening of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery on July 1. Both museums are housed at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture, 8th and F streets NW, conveniently located above Metro's Gallery Pl-Chinatown station and just four blocks from Metro Center.


Saturday's Grand Opening Family Festival, sponsored by Target, will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and feature free performances, family art activities and an ice cream social (while supplies last). For more information, visit www.ReynoldsCenter.org.


Metrorail: Gallery Pl-Chinatown on the Red/Green/Yellow lines or Metro Center on the Blue/Orange lines.
