One Hundred Years of French Art exhibit & sale will be featured at Figaro Gallery in Annandale, Virginia from December 3rd – 31st. Over 120 original oils, graphics, and bronze have been assembled to include works created between 1850 and 1950 by such French masters as: Manet , Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Matisse, Rouault, Bonnard, Degas, Braque, Cheret, Icart, Corot, Millet, Derain, and Vuillard. Expatriates who primarily worked in Paris will also be displayed, including Picasso, Miro, Chagall, Van Dongen, and Jongkind.

 

One Hundred Years of French Art begins Saturday, December 3rd with a free opening reception from Noon to 5:00pm. Guest speaker Professor Rosalind C. Hoagland will discuss the significance of French art during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Food and wine accommodations will be provided by Carrabba's of Dale City.
