Avatar - Images For Your Screen Name

AVATAR is a word that is commonly heard but rarely understood. In English, the word has come to mean "an embodiment, a bodily manifestation of the Divine." However, the Sanskrit word Avatara means "the descent of God" or simply "incarnation."

 

In DC Discussion forums, an Avatar is an animated, articulated representation of a human which represents you, a member of our online community.

 

Once you register to DC Discussions click on the My Controls located on the right side of the top yellow strip. You will be taken to Your control panel.

 

Go to the left hand column titled Menu. View down the column just below

[Personal Profile] and click your mouse on Edit Avatar Settings.

 

You can either use our Pre-installed avatars or have fun creating your own. Please note that your avatar must be no bigger than 64 pixels by 64 pixels in size.
