Cindy Sheehan Wants To Bring Our Troops Home

Cindy Lee Miller Sheehan (born July 10, 1957 in Bellflower, California) is an American anti-Iraq War activist who attracted international attention in August 2005 for her extended demonstration at a peace camp outside President George W. Bush's Texas ranch. She is sometimes referred to by the media as the "Peace Mom.

Sheehan is the mother of the late U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, who first joined the U.S. Army in May 2000. He re-enlisted in August 2003, at the age of 24. Casey was killed in action on April 4, 2004, just five days after his arrival in Sadr City, Iraq, during the Iraq occupation. Casey had volunteered for a rescue mission in which he and several others were killed. Casey was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart .

When Sheehan received an invitation to meet privately with President Bush at the White House two months after her son died, the least she could have expected was a bit of compassion or a kind word coming from the heart.

Instead of a kind gesture or a warm handshake, Sheehan said she immediately got a taste of Bush arrogance when he entered the room and "in a condescending tone and with a disgusting loud Texas accent," said: "Who we’all honorin’ here today?"

"We haven't been happy with the way the war has been handled," Cindy said. "The president has changed his reasons for being over there every time a reason is proven false or an objective reached."

Can some run this Bit** over with a semitruck.

She is entitled to her anitwar opinion but quit smearing her sons name. Shes using him as a campaign slogan. Obviously he cared about his mission over there and i would be proud. She disgracing he ARMY by doing this.

I heard on the news she was putting signs outside camp david of people who died in Iraq and supposdly the parents of that soldier or marine were on her side. Truth is she is just making this crap up and using dead troops and as an campaign.

I hate her and she represents all that is evil. Sure she has the right to protest but to me she nothing but an unpatriotic bit**.

Well it appears that the Bush Administration’s is finally understanding reason and is plannig to cut troop levels from 160,000 to below 100,000 by the end of 2006. Way to go Cindy. You are my hero....

I am so SICK of Cindy Sheehan! Am glad she was arrested last night for her little stunt. What makes her so special ? Am very sorry she lost her son and appreciate all he did for the country. But she's not the only to lose a child in war. Thousands of thousands of thousands of families have suffered the same hurt. And many even more who lost a child to other causes, like I have. Whether everyone agrees with it or not, it's called WAR! People are hurt and killed everyday, and these soldiers enlisted knowing this but still chose to do so. It is their JOB!!!

So Miss Cindy, don't speak for me. I respect our President and support him. NOTHING YOU SAY OR DO WILL BRING THE TROOPS HOME BEFORE THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED WHAT THEY ARE THERE TO DO!!!

Stop wasting your breath and energy. Go home, remember your son who is a hero and get on with your life!

People like you will eventually destroy this country...I'm convinced of that.

She is one stupid lady. She didn't bring up the son (she wasn't any part of his life except the birth mother) that was serving his country with honor. All of the sudden she remembers she has a son when he happens to get killed. What was she doing during all the previous years? She needs to pull her head out of her ass and get on with the rest of her life and shut the **to perform an anatomical sexual impossibility** up.

Hmmm...not sure about how true the above statement is. If I want to see if an urban legend is possibly true or not, I go to www.snopes.com

They say it's not true and I tend to trust them. But who knows!!
