WHAT: Dulles Day Family Festival and 13th annual Plane Pull with aircraft on display, a car show, live music, food, games and activities for children, airline ticket raffles, and introducing the Kids' Bus Pull, a new event where teams of children pull a school bus 12 feet.

WHEN: Saturday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Washington Dulles International Airport behind Cargo Building 5

(Follow the signs on airport grounds to free parking and free shuttle buses to the cargo ramp.)

COST: Admission and parking for Dulles Day is free

This annual event is sponsored by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department, who created the very first Plane Pull competition in the country in 1992. The Plane Pull pits teams of 20 people against a 150,000 pound aircraft provided by FedEx. Teams each donate $1,000 to Special Olympics Virginia.
